- Ambassador Dr. Gabor Horvath, Consul General of the Republic of Hungary, and the Board of Directors of the Coordinating Committee for the Commemoration of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution, asked Mr. Balazs to write a symphonic poem in honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution. The Philharmonia Orchestra of Yale performed the piece at Carnegie Hall, October 15, 2006, at a benefit concert recognizing this most historic event.
