Madrid-based Zeta Studios, the producer behind worldwide hit series “Élite,” HBO Max’s “García!,” Movistar Plus’ “Reyes de la noche” and Prime Video’s “Días Mejores,” has teamed with double San Sebastián Golden Shell winner director Isaki Lacuesta for TV drama project “El hijo del chófer” (“The Chauffeur’s Son”).
Lacuesta will direct and write the series alongside writer-director Isa Campo, and “Días mejores” creator and “Fariña” scribe Cristóbal Garrido.
The project is currently in a development and looking for financing.
Left of field filmmaker Lacuesta, San Sebastian’s top prize winner with “The Double Steps” (2011) and “Between Two Waters” (2018), both co-written by Campo, has recently dipped his toe into TV fiction creation with Movistar Plus anthology series “Apagón” (“Offworld”), five stories written and directed by top movie Spanish directors, which also included Campo.

Second half goals from Antonio Valencia and Danny Welbeck helped Manchester United end their run of three games without victory and return to winning ways at Old Trafford.
A loss here would have been United’s fourth consecutive defeat for the first time in over 50 years but Valencia’s tap in and Welbeck’s skillful flick ended the champion’s slump under David Moyes.
The game started in slow fashion with Swansea’s Jonjo Shelvey seeing his fourth-minute speculative shot from the edge of the United box easily saved by David de Gea.
A minute later, Shelvey upended Adnan Januzaj and Nemanja Vidic’s connection with the resulting free-kick rose over Gerhard Tremmel’s goal.
United were beginning to show signs of menace and, after Jordi Amat brought Welbeck down on the edge of the box, the scheming Januzaj saw his freekick rebound off the crossbar.

Swansea made history by winning at Old Trafford thanks to Wayne Routledge’s early chip and a late Wilfried Bony header. Manchester United fell at the first Fa Cup hurdle despite Javier Hernandez scoring as substitute Fabio was sent off.
Defeat for the Red Devils – their fifth at home in all competitions this term – increases the pressure on David Moyes. United are still in the Capital One Cup, but look short of strength to defend their Premier League title and make a big splash in the Champions League.
Wayne Rooney joined a lengthy injury list for the hosts as Moyes made six changes from the home loss to Tottenham Hotspur on New Year’s Day. Defenders Nemnaja Vidic and Patrice Evra were rested completely whilst Michael Carrick, David De Gea and Adnan Janzuaj dropped to the bench.

Everton travel to Swansea knowing they have never lost this fixture home or away. The prize for another Toffees victory here is to go above Chelsea into fourth place in the Premier League until at least Monday.
Michael Laudrup’s Swans meanwhile could make history and climb back into the top half just in time for Christmas. The hosts have found juggling Europa League commitments with domestic games difficult in their third season in the top flight.
Swansea have recorded just two wins in all competitions since thumping Sunderland 4-0 in mid-October. Everton manager Roberto Martinez, who used to play for and coach the Swans, in contrast has seen his side only suffer one league defeat all season.

Swansea will be looking to put their losing start to the Premier League behind them as they take on Romanian team Petrolul Ploiesti at the Liberty Stadium on Thursday evening.
The Swans may be without Nathan Dyer after he picked up a hamstring injury against Manchester United but manager Michael Laudrup should call on Wilfried Bony and Pablo Hernandez to start the game after both players were forced to the bench last weekend. Jonathan de Guzman, however, will have to wait until at least Sunday before making his return to the Swansea squad.
Whilst the visitors are one of the more lesser known clubs left in the competition, the Romanians have already earned their stripes by knocking out Vitesse Arnhem in the third qualifying round. By defeating the Dutch side, Petrolul have reached this stage of the competition for the first time in their history.

With Tito Vilanova stepping aside at Barcelona, the Catalan giants are in the market for a manager again. However this time for the first time since 2003 they will not be making an internal appointment.
With many of the top managers already in a job it means that Barcelona will have to go for a big name and face the compensation fee or go for someone who is relatively unknown to the footballing masses.
The new man faces the tough challenge of managing arguably the best club team football has ever seen and all the scrutiny that comes with that. But also with the challenge of changing the view that the major power in European football has shifted to Germany and Bayern Munich.
Here are Six potential contenders to succeed Tito Vilanova.

Swansea City have completed the £12 million purchase of Vitesse Arnhem steiker Wilfried Bony, according to the BBC.
The Ivorian international has put pen to paper on a four-year contract, tying him to the Welsh club until 2017.
Bony finished last season as the top goalscorer in the Netherlands, scoring 31 goals in 30 Eredivisie appearances for Vitesse.
West Ham also put in an offer for the 24-year-old, but Swansea won the race for his signature with a higher bid.
Bony said:
“I’ve wanted to play in the Premier League for a long time.”
The forward has become manager Michael Laudrup’s seventh permanent summer signing, following the acquisitions of Jonjo Shelvey from Liverpool, Alejandro Pozuelo and Jose Canas from Real Betis, Jordi Amat from Espanyol, Gregor Zabret from Nk Domzale and Alex Gogic from Olympiakos.
Midfielder Jonathan de Guzman has also agreed to a second, season-long loan from Spanish outfit Villarreal.

Swansea City are expected to complete the signing of Vitesse Arnhem striker Wilfried Bony today, according to the BBC.
The deal could eventually cost Michael Laudrup’s side £13 million when taking into account bonuses and other add-ons, as the Swans look to complete their seventh summer signing.
West Ham were also interested in the impressive Ivorian, who finished last season as the Netherland’s top goalscorer with 31 goals in 30 Eredivisie appearances, but Swansea have won the race and Bony will join fellow new recruits Jonjo Shelvey, Alejandro Pozuelo, Jose Canas, Jordi Amat, Gregor Zabret and Alex Gogic at the Liberty Stadium.
Midfielder Jonathan de Guzman has also rejoined the Welsh outfit for a second, season-long loan from Villarreal.
The heavy investment in the squad is a show of support by club bosses for manager Laudrup, who has said in the past that new acquisitions would have to be brought in...
