Writer Aneko Yusagi also expressed enthusiasm on the announcement of the 4th season, stating, “Congratulations! It’s been decided that Shield Hero will have a fourth season! I never thought it would continue this far. This is thanks to everyone who supports us and all those involved. The Rising Of The Shield Hero is not only Naofumi’s, but also Raphtalia’s. Of course, Naofumi will continue to rise even more. Please look forward to it!“.
