An Emmy and Golden Globe winner will be making his Major League Wrestling debut on June 1 in Battle Riot VI. It’s Paul Walter Hauser! Yes, the in-demand actor who received critical acclaim for projects like Black Bird and fanfare playing Stingray in Cobra Kai. He’ll be among the 40 competitors participating in the super-sized main event, a battle royale meets anything goes street fight. New participants enter 60 seconds until one remains and earns a shot at the Mlw World Heavyweight Championship. Mlw “I’m so excited to take part in Major League Wrestling’s 6th Annual Battle Riot,” the actor said in a release. “While some could misconstrue this to be an actor making a cameo in wrestling, or a fan checking off some bucket list or wish fulfillment – don’t get it twisted. I am entering to prove myself worthy of a spot in the world of wrestling,...

Welcome to Nerdly’s All Out 2021 pay per view review. The hype was real, the hype was massive… Did the sold-out show live up that hype? Read on to find out!
Buy-In Match: Best Friends and Jurassic Express def. Hardy Family Office
My Thoughts: What an opener for the PPV; superb action, amazing fan interaction and another stellar performance from Orange Cassidy and Jungle Boy in particular. A massive excitement builder for the main pay per view!
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #1: Miro def. Eddie Kingston
My Thoughts: Opening with the TNT title match? With Eddie Kingston? Way to rile up the audience for this PPV. These two went for it big time. This is the kind of match that played with the audiences emotions – highs and lows, hopes were raised then dashed. Total rollercoaster. Eddie looked like he was going to win it but it was not to be.

Will this “Cross-Eyed Dip-s—t Of The Forest” topple “The Power-Bottom Prince” himself? Get back, honky cat! Ya bother me! You suck! Big whoop! Wanda fight about it?! I was frozen today! Blow it out your ass! Cheeseburger in paradise! There! I said it! Now I’ll say it twice! Cheeseburger in paradise! There! I’m not a lazy bum like you!

Welcome to this week’s Ring Of Honor review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have Yuji Nagata in the main event. Yeah, this is a pretty cool chance to see something rare with Yuji in America. Okay, let’s see if this all turns out well enough.
Match #1: The Bouncers (Beer City Bruiser and Brawler Milonas) defeated The Kingdom (Tk O’Ryan and Vinny Marseglia), Coast 2 Coast (Lsg and Shaheem Ali) and Alex Coughlin and Clark Connors – Four Corners Survival Match The following is courtesy of rohwrestling.com:
The Kingdom hit House of 1,000 Horses on Connors, but Lsg pump-kicked O’Ryan before he could make the cover. Ali tried to steal the pin, but Beer City Bruiser broke it up. Shortly thereafter, The Bouncers hit Closing Time on Coughlin for the victory.
My Opinion: 2.5 out of 5 - This was a fun melee that was...

New Japan Pro Wrestling seems to be on quite a roll lately. In the past year or so, they’ve announced partnerships with both Ring of Honor and Jeff Jarrett’s Global Force Wrestling. Furthermore, they’ve been airing their major events in the United States via iPPV.
On August 10th, New Japan wrapped up their annual G1 Climax tournament — or Grade One Climax — which began on July 21st. This year was the 24th incarnation of the prestigious event — although Njpw held annual tournaments beginning in 1971 under different monikers. The shows consistently draw sold out crowds and mainstream Japanese press for each night of the event.
As per usual, this year’s event featured fantastic wrestling from all involved — including well-known American stars like Shelton Benjamin, Doc Gallows, Davey Boy Smith Jr., and current Iwgp Heavyweight Champion, Aj Styles. The tournament also featured well-known Japanese stars Satoshi Kojima,...
