Season 25 of “Big Brother” kicks off with a live 90-minute episode on CBS August 2. It will likely begin with the first Head of Household competition, granting someone with a distinct advantage as the houseguests get to know each other. The Hoh will choose two people to go on the block for eviction, both of whom can ultimately save themselves with the Power of Veto. But what is the Power of Veto? And who has won the most in Bb history?
The golden Power of Veto was introduced at the end of “Big Brother” season 3. It allows the owner to remove one of the nominees for eviction from the block. The Pov also guarantees the holder safety should one of the nominees be removed. Unless there is some sort of twist, the Head of Household must choose a replacement nominee for whoever is taken off the block.

The backbone of Big Brother has been and always will be the live feeds. Without them, the CBS competition series isn’t special and is just like any other edited reality show. And if CBS ever entertains the thought of removing live feeds from Big Brother, they should just cancel the series instead.
Taylor Hale | Photo: CBS ‘Big Brother Canada’ canceled live feeds for season 11
Big Brother fans received terrible news when the Canadian version of the show’s Twitter account announced that the upcoming season wouldn’t feature the standard live feeds.
The tweet reads, “Attention Bbcan fam! As we head into Season 11, Big Brother Canada‘s Live Feeds are evolving. Behind the scenes content will now be delivered through Digital Dailies — uncut footage from inside the Bbcan house, offering viewers an extended peek into the houseguests’ lives.”
So instead of 24/7 live feeds, Big Brother Canada Season 11 will provide viewers with “Digital Dailies,...

It became a running gag that Big Brother 24 finalist Matt “Turner” rarely showered, and Live Feed viewers insisted they never saw him in the showers. Playing into the joke, Turner promised to shower daily if he received a second chance on the competition show.
Matt ‘Turner’ promised to shower daily if he returns for another season of ‘Big Brother’
In September 2022, Matt “Turner” made it to the finale of Big Brother 24, where he believed longtime ally Monte Taylor would take him to the end. However, he chose Taylor Hale to his detriment as she won in a near-unanimous vote.
After his third-place finish, Turner has traveled with Taylor and their castmate Joseph Abdin to Canada and, most recently, Honduras. Additionally, he proposed to his girlfriend of three years, Megan Belmonte, in October 2022, a few weeks after the finale.

Multiple couples formed throughout Big Brother 24. One of them gave an update that they’re no longer together. Kyle Capener posted about healing alone after his breakup with Alyssa Snider.
Alyssa Snider and Kyle Capener’s rollercoaster relationship on ‘Big Brother 24’
The TikTok content creator and the customer service rep met in the Big Brother house last summer. They were instantly attracted to each other, but Kyle struggled to balance that with strategy.
Throughout most of the season, he hid being in The Leftovers alliance from her. He took out Alyssa’s allies one by one. He didn’t start being honest with her until the split house twist when he decided to betray his allies.
The next week Michael Bruner and Brittany Hoopes revealed he tried to make an alliance to take out the non-white players. Alyssa broke up with him, and he was evicted from the house.

Big Brother 24 runner-up Monte Taylor was pretty shocked by the outcome on finale night.
After winning the final Head of Household Competition, Monte thought that he was about to win the 750,000 when he chose to send Matthew Turner to the BB24 jury.
Unfortunately for Monte, it was Turner who ended up being the only person to vote for him to be the Big Brother 24 winner.
When Julie Chen Moonves read off the votes, it was Taylor Hale who won Big Brother 24. The 8-1 vote total made it seem like a really one-sided season of the show.
Later, Taylor was also named America’s Favorite Houseguest, winning a close vote against two other fan-favorites from the season.
“I had no doubt in my mind that I would be coming out on top after the vote,” Monte told Entertainment Weekly after the season finale aired.

In one of the most improbable runs in “Big Brother” and reality TV history, Taylor Hale won “Big Brother 24” on Sunday, nearly three months after she was ostracized and targeted by the house in the very first week of the game. She also won America’s Favorite Houseguest, the first game winner to take home the 50,000 prize.
Entering the finale, Taylor was dejected after losing the first two parts of the final Hoh to Matthew Turner and Monte Taylor, respectively, meaning she would have to rely on one of them to bring her to the final two. Taylor Hale on making ‘Big Brother’ history: ‘This is like winning Miss Congeniality all over again’
During every season finale of “Big Brother,” host Julie Chen Moonves hands out two checks: one worth 750,000 to the ultimate winner and one worth 50,000 to the person who viewers named America’s Favorite Houseguest. “We have made history,” Julie declared during Sunday’s “BB24” finale. Why? Because Taylor Hale was the recipient of both cash prizes, for the first time ever. (She also won a Princess Cruise for two — not too shabby!)
“This is like winning Miss Congeniality all over again, but there’s a cash prize this time,” the Michigan beauty queen said on live television after Julie made the big announcement. “I’m gonna spend a lot of money at the mall. Also I think I have to go and buy some potato chips after this.” Of course, Taylor made history in another way as well, as she now becomes the first Black woman to win “Big Brother.

And then there were three. Following the eviction of Brittany Hoopes on “Big Brother 24,” the Final 3 houseguests — Taylor Hale, Matthew “Turner” Turner and Monte Taylor — celebrated making it to finale night by toasting with champagne. Despite a last-ditch effort to save herself this week, Brittany Hoopes was evicted on Thursday night’s live episode of “Big Brother.” The 32-year old hypnotherapist from Austin, Texas was sent to the jury house by Monte Taylor, who won this week’s Veto contest and the sole power to evict. Monte decided Matthew “Turner” Turner was better for his game heading into Sunday’s finale along with Taylor Hale.
“If I’m being honest, it makes most sense for his game,” Brittany told host Julie Chen Moonves during her exit interview. “[Monte] is closer with Turner. I know I would have crushed him in those comps at the end. I feel confident about that. He’s right. His arguments were logical. It just wasn’t in my favor.”

Following the eviction of Alyssa Snider on “Big Brother 24,” only four players remained in the running to win the 750,000 grand prize: Taylor Hale, Brittany Hoopes, Monte Taylor and Matthew “Turner” Turner. Taylor proved her worth by winning the Head of Household competition centered around Julie Chen Moonves‘ wardrobe, which secured her spot in the Top 3. But remember, no matter who she nominated for eviction, this week would all come down to the Veto winner, as that person had the power to determine which two houseguests would be sitting on the block come eviction night. Big Brother odds about who will win America’s Favorite Houseguest this summer indicate some clear favorites.

The Big Brother schedule for this week isn’t a typical one for fans, with no Wednesday night installment and the big season finale coming up.
We are heading into the final week of the competition, and the episodes will feature the final four as they work down to the final three of the BB24 cast.
Someone in this group is going to be leaving the Big Brother house with a nice 750,000 prize, and there are likely to be a number of disappointed people based on the results.
The playing field seems level after Michael Bruner got evicted, meaning we might end up with an unpredictable finale.
Monte Taylor, Brittany Hoopes, Matt Turner, and Taylor Hale constitute the final four within the Big Brother 24 cast. Taylor became the final four Hoh, giving her an automatic spot in the final three.

Despite a solid campaign to save herself this week, Alyssa Snider was evicted from the “Big Brother” house on Thursday’s episode. The 24-year old from Siesta Key, Florida managed to gain a vote from her former nemesis Brittany Hoopes, but lose the vote of her house Bff, Matthew “Turner” Turner. That left Head of Household Monte Taylor as the tie-breaker and he chose to send Alyssa to the jury house and keep his new snuggle buddy Taylor Hale by his side.

Heading into the 10th eviction episode of “Big Brother 24,” Veto winner Brittany Hoopes pulled herself off the block, hoping the reigning Head of Household Monte Taylor would replace her with Matthew “Turner” Turner. Instead, Monte kept his boy safe and tossed Taylor Hale on the block next to Alyssa Snider, proving where his real loyalties lie. So did Taylor or Alyssa end up speaking with Julie Chen Moonves at the end of the evening?

Heading into this week’s Power of Veto episode of “Big Brother 24,” Monte Taylor had just won his second Head of Household competition of the summer. The Delaware personal trainer nominated Brittany Hoopes and Alyssa Snider for eviction, though he also entertained Taylor Hale‘s pitch of her winning the Veto and using it to force Monte to backdoor Matthew “Turner” Turner. So did the Veto end up getting used, and if so, was it Brittany or Alyssa who came off the block?

Last Thursday, Julie Chen Moonves surprised the “Big Brother” houseguests with their second double eviction, following the week 7 split house twist. Michael Bruner was taken out in a swift move by Power of Veto winner Monte Taylor and Head of Household Matthew Turner, leaving the houseguests with “one last word.” Despite a last ditch plea to Alyssa Snider and Taylor Hale to save him, the women stuck together and brought Brittany Hoopes along to the Top 5.
By Sunday night we learned that Monte squeezed out his second Hoh win by only nine seconds over Brittany. Those nine seconds will make all the difference this week as Brittany and Taylor were eyeing one of their last few chances to get Turner out of the house, but Monte was set on protecting him at all costs. Between the two sides, Alyssa continued to float in the middle, swaying in the direction of whoever held the power.

For some quick background, Monte Taylor is the Week 10 Head of Household and he nominated Brittany Hoopes and Alyssa Snider for eviction.
Over the weekend, Monte got disqualified from the Veto Competition, taking him out of the running for an important Power of Veto win.

Big Brother fans watching the live feeds on Tuesday morning saw what might be the latest showmance to emerge from the BB24 cast.
And much like when Tyler Crispen and Angela Rummans started their relationship in the Big Brother 20 house, this one will have to be kept under wraps.
After cuddling a bit in the Head of Household bed, Monte Taylor and Taylor Hale had a kissing session while the cameras watched.
It isn’t too surprising that the flirting between Monte and Taylor has led to this point, and with how much they have been hanging out together as part of the final five, it could have been a predicted outcome.
Will this showmance evolve into more than just two attractive houseguests having fun together? We will all have to stay tuned to find out.

Monte Taylor, Matt Turner, Brittany Hoopes, Taylor Hale, and Alyssa Snider make up the surprising final five for the season.
One of those people is going to walk away with the 750,000 prize for winning over the jury later this month.
It’s difficult to predict who is going to be named the winner by the BB24 jury because there are some very similar resumes among this group. Michael Bruner may have been the favorite to win, but he got sent packing during the Double Eviction.

Big Brother 24 spoilers from Saturday have been all about the early-morning Veto Competition and what the Hoh might end up doing during the Monday Veto Meeting.
Early on September 10, the final five houseguests were awoken from their beds to play in an important Veto Competition, but some drama surfaced when one of them got disqualified for not making it to the backyard in time.
Taking a quick step back from there, Monte Taylor is the new Head of Household after winning a late-night Hoh Competition.
With very few options to choose from, Monte then nominated Brittany Hoopes and Alyssa Snider for eviction. This set up the scenario where Matt Turner and Taylor Hale would be the only two votes for the week.

Michael Bruner is doing his exit interviews now, following his eviction from the Big Brother house.
It was a dramatic ending to his run in the game, which began with him becoming the new Veto King of the reality competition show.
Michael seemed almost unstoppable, so when the other houseguests finally had a chance to take him out, that’s exactly what they did.
Now, Michael becomes a member of the BB24 jury, where he will vote for the winner of Big Brother 24 on finale night.
There should also be some interesting episode segments coming up soon where Big Brother fans get to see the reactions of the other jury members when Michael walks in the front door.
But first, he has a lot of thoughts to share about how he played the game and what went wrong this summer.

Had Michael Bruner survived the double eviction on “Big Brother 24,” he probably would’ve been unstoppable the rest of the way. A comp beast, he had a record-breaking six Veto wins and a record-tying nine total comp wins this season and always won when he needed to. Until Thursday night. Monte snatched the Veto, and he and Turner, who just days ago had pitched an alliance to Michael, decided to take their shot. The defense attorney went down fighting, blowing up Brittany‘s game in a ruthless speech, and then made an iconic exit. After getting evicted 3-0, he snapped, “Everyone please stay seated, I have one thing I’d like to say,” before bolting out the door.
Michael had a lot more to say when we caught up with him, including about his decision to wait to tell the house about Kyle‘s problematic theory.

The mightiest comp beast of all time couldn’t save himself when it mattered most on Thursday’s double eviction episode of “Big Brother.” Michael Bruner stormed out of the house without saying goodbye after being voted out 3-0 over his Bff Brittany Hoopes. Alyssa Snider, Monte Taylor and Taylor Hale all chose to send the front-runner packing. They, along with Head of Household Matthew “Turner” Turner, just couldn’t see themselves winning against the 28-year old attorney in the final.
In one last hail Mary attempt to stay in the game, Michael threw Brittany under the bus during his final plea. “I feel so bad,” he admitted to host Julie Chen Moonves during his exit interview. “I love Brittany but I had to do it. I would have regretted it forever if I didn’t try.” But was anything he said about her untrue? “That’s what people were talking about,...

It was an unceremonious exit for Terrance Higgins when he became the first houseguest sent packing on Thursday night’s live double eviction episode of “Big Brother.” The 47-year old bus operator from Chicago stormed out of the house after being unanimously evicted by a vote of 4-0 over Alyssa Snider. The Head of Household responsible for his dismissal was Michael Bruner.
“That was an homage to Daniel [Durston],” Terrance told host Julie Chen Moonves during his exit interview when asked about his quick exit. Daniel memorably (or not?) left in an uproar without saying goodbye way back on Day 37. But Terrance admits he was upset as well. “That definitely did play a role,” he explained. “You had the [opportunity] to do something that you just didn’t do. You knew that Alyssa’s votes, to me, look stacked in jury right now. And you have more of a fight to get Michael out of the house.

Big Brother 24 is down to just five people competing for the 750,000 prize.
Two houseguests got sent packing during a Double Eviction episode, increasing the number of BB24 jurors to six.
Viewers who tuned in for the Thursday night episode might have come away feeling like there was too much filler, though, as most of the first hour was spent on recapping previous conversations that took place in the house.
At the first Eviction Ceremony of the evening, the voters had to choose between sending out Terrance Higgins or Alyssa Snider.
With a unanimous vote of 4-0, Terrance became the fifth member of the BB24 jury.
Even though viewers knew a Double Eviction was coming, the houseguests appeared to be convinced otherwise.

Heading into the ninth eviction episode of “Big Brother 24,” Alyssa Snider and Terrance Higgins sat on the block under Michael Bruner’s third Head of Household reign. The comp beast also won a record-breaking sixth Veto of the season, opting not to use it in hopes his target Terrance would soon join the jury.
Host Julie Chen Moonves surprised the houseguests (sort of) by letting them know tonight is a double eviction episode. That means one full week of “Big Brother” will all play out in the span of an hour before a second houseguest is sent packing. By the end of the night, just five players will remain in the game.

Big Brother 24 episodes on the schedule are starting to dwindle, with a Double Eviction taking the number of houseguests down to just five.
The Summer 2022 season finale arrives on Sunday, September 25, when CBS has two hours to wrap up everything.
There is a 750,000 prize on the line, so a lot of drama could be expected in the next few weeks.
Will the unbeatable Michael Bruner get taken out before finale night? Getting him out of the Big Brother house could be a huge resume booster for someone.
At the same time, Michael now gets to play in every Veto Competition left on the schedule (if he remains in the game), so he can control his own fate if he keeps winning challenges.
Of note is that it’s a BB24 jury member who has increased their popularity the most lately,...

The other players still in the house are Michael’s “Big Brochella” buddies Brittany Hoopes, Taylor Hale and Monte Taylor. So who ended up winning the Power of Veto, and did they use it to remove Terrance of Alyssa from the chopping block?

The Big Brother 24 Afh will receive a nice cash prize on the season finale, rewarding them for being popular among fans of the show.
America’s Favorite Houseguest is voted on by Big Brother fans each season, and it typically becomes someone who viewers enjoyed watching during the long season.
For the Big Brother 23 season (Summer 2021), it was Tiffany Mitchell that won the Afh after she helped put together The Cookout and steered her alliance all the way to the end of the game.
This year, it has become difficult to predict who might win the award for the BB24 cast, as the most popular houseguests have shifted quite a bit over the weeks.
Early on, Michael Bruner was the clear favorite for a majority of Big Brother fans, but his popularity has taken a bit hit recently.

Big Brother 24 spoilers from the Week 9 Veto Meeting have become available on the live feeds.
Again, Michael Bruner is the Head of Household this week, giving him safety and a guaranteed spot in the final six.
There could be some trouble ahead for Michael, though, with a target on his back for the Double Eviction night.
As Hoh, Michael nominated Terrance Higgins and Alyssa Snider for eviction. It was the expected result based on who else is a part of the final seven of the BB24 cast.
Then, Michael won the Power of Veto again. Michael got to host a Veto Meeting for the sixth time this season, and it’s clear that the other houseguests are pretty tired of his success.
