It’s “Trolls” night on “The Masked Singer” this week, but uh, Cuddle Monster is definitely much bigger than a troll. In fact, his size is part of what leads panelist Nicole Scherzinger to think former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal might be under the mask.
For those unaware, Cuddle Monster is indeed the largest costume that “The Masked Singer” has ever created for the series. And Shaq is 7-foot-1. But, Scherzinger is basing her guess on more than just his size. She’s using the clues to her advantage as well.
You can watch TheWrap’s exclusive sneak peek at Wednesday night’s episode of “The Masked Singer” in the video above.

Double the episodes on Week 5 means double the themes — under one new theme — and a double elimination. Got all that? “Dancing with the Stars” will have a two-night event for Stars’ Stories Week: Monday, Oct. 17 will be Most Memorable Year Night and Tuesday, Oct. 18 is Prom Night.
The top 12 will perform on Monday, during which one couple will be eliminated, and the remaining 11 will hit the hardwood on Tuesday, during which a second couple will be axed. So it’s not a double elimination in one episode, but two couples will be gone by the end of Tuesday. This also means one couple won’t get to perform their Prom Night routine.
Tuesday will also include the dance marathon, featuring two styles, the hustle (to “Hot Stuff” by Donna Summer) and the Lindy Hop (to “Jump Jive an’ Wail” by The Brian Setzer Orchestra). Bonus points will be awarded to...

By the mid-2000s, Biz Markie was not only a hip-hop legend, but the kind of pop culture personality that seemed to pop up everywhere. And it was always a delight. He was making cameos in movies like Men in Black II, lending his voice to Crank Yankers and cracking jokes on Wild ’N Out. But he could also frequently be found somewhere way more unexpected — the children’s television show Yo Gabba Gabba!

The fourth (and final) wild card on “The Masked Singer” Season 5 was Yeti, a creature so ferocious “he makes the Abominable Snowman look like Frosty the Snowman,” joked host Nick Cannon. This white-furred snow-beast was first unleashed on the Wednesday, April 14 episode and was instantly called the “new favorite” to win by panelist Ken Jeong. Hmm, those are strong words indeed. With Yeti admitting he only comes “out of hiding for a mammoth reason,” it’s clear this is a megastar celebrity … but which one?
Below, see all of Yeti’s “The Masked Singer” performances ranked worst to best. Bookmark this page as we’ll be updating it throughout the season.

Spoiler Alert: Do not read ahead if you have not watched Season 5, Episode 12 of “The Masked Singer,” which aired May 19 on Fox.
In the end, perhaps it was Omarion’s previous career as a professional rollerblader that gave him away. Omarion was the latest celebrity to be revealed on “The Masked Singer,” during Wednesday night’s semifinals episode. (Scroll down to watch his unmasking.)
Omarion was the Yeti, whose skill rollerblading on stage while singing under a heavy costume had impressed the show’s panelists.
“I was able to reveal my hidden talent, which is rollerblading,” the singer told Variety. “A lot of people don’t know, early on before I was a musician, I was a professional rollerblader… I really attribute that aspect in my life to being a fearless kid. I was on the 12 foot halfpipe. So it was really cool to show my music and my hidden talent at the same time.

The Yeti could make history on “The Masked Singer” be becoming the first Wild Card to win. He landed his slot in the semifinal on May 19 with his change-of-pace performance of “Bless the Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts on last week’s quarterfinal. Prior to this turn at the mike, the Yeti had won over the four judges with his rapping skills.
The Yeti is the only one of the four Wild Cards to make it this far in the competition. He first performed at the end of the Week 6 episode and impressed us with his cover of “If It Isn’t Love” by New Edition. The judges chose him over another Wild Card, Orca, who turned out to be Mark McGrath. The Yeti returned the next week and wowed again with his version of “Lonely” by Justin Bieber and Benny Blanco. And in Week 8 he nailed “It Takes Two...

This week’s Top 5 episode of “The Masked Singer” will feature the elimination of either Yeti or Chameleon, according to Gold Derby’s predictions. Our readers have been making their picks all season long and these two creatures are the likeliest to be eliminated during the Fierce 5 episode, airing Wednesday, May 12 on Fox. The other trio of contenders — Black Swan, Piglet and Russian Dolls — should easily sail into the Top 4. Do you agree or disagree with our racetrack odds? As Season 5 of Fox’s “The Masked Singer” heads toward its conclusion at the end of the month, Variety has the scoop on the guest panelists and show formats for the final three episodes.
On Wednesday, the “Spicy 6” episode saw actor/singer Tyrese Gibson unmasked as the Robopine. When “The Masked Singer” returns next week on May 12, the quarter finals will feature comedian Rob Riggle (“Holey Moley”) as a guest panelist, alongside regular panelists Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg and Robin Thicke.
The following week, on May 19, the semi-finals will feature guest panelist Darius Rucker — that’s right, the Hootie and the Blowfish singer will join in on the guessing game. Also in that episode, the show’s mysterious “Cluedle-Doo” will be revealed.

The Masked Singer is down to this season’s “Spicy Six,” and what a deep well of vocal talent is bubbling underneath those egregiously large costume heads! Dare I say that this season’s final six contestants are even stronger than Season 4’s highly impressive mix (which, if you’ve forgotten, was Tori Kelly, Aloe Blacc, LeAnn Rimes, Nick Carter, Taylor Dayne and Chloe Kim)?

Wednesday’s Spicy 6 episode of “The Masked Singer” teased that all of the remaining contestants would “take it off,” but it turned out to be just for brief moments during their clues videos. And they still had secrecy visors on — womp, womp. Following the previous double unmasking, only a half-dozen costumes were still in the hunt for the Golden Mask: Robopine, Russian Dolls, Yeti, Black Swan, Chameleon and Piglet. They performed once again for panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger, plus guest judge Chrissy Metz. So who was eliminated, failing to make it into the Top 5?

“The Masked Singer” is doubling down. The hit celebrity music competition will introduce its first-ever two-headed costume this fall, the “Snow Owls.”

Lucy and Ethel. Mary and Rhoda. Laverne and Shirley. Patsy and Edina. Abbi and Ilana. Television comedy has boasted plenty of amazing duos over the years, and now you should add another one to the mix: Jen and Judy, the lead characters of Netflix’s “Dead to Me.”
Television Academy members are on board, having included both Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini in the lead comedy actress category this year. That’s an improvement over 2019, when voters only recognized Applegate in the show’s freshman run.
Created by Liz Feldman, “Dead to Me” is a dark comedy that centers on Jen (Applegate), a recent widow who’s befriended by Judy (Cardellini) at a support group. The two become besties, but it all falls apart when Jen learns that Judy was partially involved in her husband’s death. From there, the body count rises — and so do the secrets. Jen and...

2019 has been a weird year. So it seems fittingly surreal to be closing it by encouraging you to rush out and see an animated film about a pigeon super-spy and his scientist creator. Spies in Disguise is that film, Will Smith is that pigeon, and verily they are the spoonful of sugar you need right now.

Lip Sync Battle is headed back to the small screen for its fifth season this month, and the Paramount Network just released a first look at what's to come this year. In a short music video that doubles as the season's teaser, hosts LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen can be seen dancing around a room mouthing the words to Rob Base and DJ Ez Rock's "It Takes Two" while being accompanied by a ton of dancers decked out in all white. Throughout the video, the hosts use animated vinyls to reveal a handful of guests who'll be stepping onto the Lsb stage this season, including names like Darren Criss, Jermaine Dupri, the cast of Queer Eye, and . . . Big Bird. Should be a pretty wild ride if you ask me. Check out the full trailer above.

The four-minute medley found the host and actor blazing through nearly a dozen sitcom theme songs, including Martin, Full House, Diff'rent Strokes and, of course, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, which was performed in its entirety by Smith, Fallon and the Roots.
Seventies sitcoms like Three's Company, The Jeffersons and Good Times were also briefly featured in the "History of TV Theme Songs," a spin-off of the popular "History of Rap" series that...

Maren Morris is a little bit country and a little bit Edm. But when it comes to her new single with Zedd and electronic brother duo Grey, it’s as “natural” as can be.
People caught up with Zedd behind-the-scenes during the music video shoot for their new single “The Middle” — which Target debuted in a commercial during the 60th Grammy Awards on Sunday — and he revealed it wasn’t exactly third times the charm when they chose “the one” for the vocals behind their new track.

In Dnce’s new song, their mind is blown – and after listening to it, so is ours. The new single released from the dance pop band is yet another dose of funky brilliance from their upcoming debut record, but something about “Blown” makes it just a bit different from the other offerings that we’ve heard so far.
With retro vibes that sound straight out of the surf pop history books, Dnce goes all out on the “Blown” track, and it’s giving everybody a hefty dose of summer right at the end of October. It’s got much more lasting value than the lead single, “Body Moves,” too, because rather than writing yet another basic electro dance driven song, they switch things up by adding something different and more unique to their repertoire.
To make matters more interesting here, Dnce get hip-hop artist Kent Jones to provide some additional flair to the song.

As the old Rob Base/DJ E-z Rock song so eloquently put it, it takes two to make a thing go right (never mind to make it outta sight!). And nowhere is that truer than in the uncertain, post-apocalyptic world of The Walking Dead.
PhotosWalking Dead‘s 22 Most Painful Deaths
Two by two, time and again, members of the AMC series’ intrepid troupe of survivors have paired up, either simply as friends, as friends with benefits or as something deeper still. And, inevitably, along the way, we’ve become as attached to a few of the duos as they’ve been to each other.

Vanilla Ice performed on the Today show this morning, which sounds strange (seeing as how this is 2016), but made sense when you realize the one-time white-hot “rapper” was helping to promote an “I Love The ‘90s” tour he’s conducting with Salt N Pepa, Coolio, Tone Loc, Rob Base, Young Mc and more. So far, so good. Ice broke into his best-known song, “Ice Ice Baby.” I’m still feeling it. Then, something really strange happened. Four generic, half-hearted Heroes on a Half Shell took the stage with Vanilla Ice… and they Didn’T sing “Ninja Rap” from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II. I mean, what? What?! See for yourself. Vanilla Ice is working the crowd who had gathered outside of the Today show as part of the weekly concert series. And he’s getting ...

Jimmy Fallon turned the tables on “The Voice” coaches on Monday night and had them sing karaoke in front of his “Tonight Show” audience. Gwen Stefani, Pharrell Williams, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine sang popular tunes while playing “Spin the Microphone,” which Shelton noted was “actually the stupidest game” he’s ever played. But it resulted in the country star performing “Ymca,” and Levine performing Britney Spears‘ “Oops, I Did It Again,” so it wasn’t stupid for fans enjoying the spectacle. Jimmy Fallon and The Voice judges, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams, brought all the endearing awkwardness of spin the bottle to a new musical version, "Spin the Microphone," on The Tonight Show Monday.
Instead of teens sucking each other's faces, the host and coaches took turns spinning a microphone and challenging each other to sing a song. Still, there was plenty of scheming, squealing, cringing, backstabbing and, ultimately, one conversation about erections. And despite the credentials of all four judges, getting them to perform under pressure...

From there, Fallon pulled out his iPad and fired up the Loopy app before launching into a rendition of “It Takes Two” by Rob Base and DJ E-z Rock- “I wanna rock right now, I'm Will Smith and I'm J-Fall… I'm not internationally known. Me and the Roots come from the same home [Philly]."...

This video will make your day! Will Smith joined Jimmy Fallon on "The Tonight Show" on Thursday, where the two had everyone in the audience dancing as they rapped "It Takes Two" by Rob Base and DJ E-z Rock. "We have a lot in common," the late night host told the actor. "We both love music. We like rap music. You're a famous rapper. I'm a classically trained beatboxer." The "SNL" alum then brought out his iPad and opened an app called Loopy, a recorded layering tool that helps aspiring rappers and artists create musical loops.Once the beats were ready, the dynamic duo started rapping the lyrics from the classic hip-hop track, replacing them with their own freestyle rendition. "I wanna rock right now, I'm Will Smith and I'm J-Fall," the two rapped into their microphones. "I'm not internationally known. Me and the Roots come from the same home...

Just days after Jimmy Fallon remade The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air's theme song, he managed to pull off another musical feat on Thursday's The Tonight Show with guest Will Smith. Jimmy told Will that he was a "classically trained beatboxer" and brought out an iPad recording app to lay down tracks. Fallon then showed off his impressive beatbox skills to the rhythm of "It Takes Two" by Rob Base and DJ E-z Rock while Will caught on just as fast and even came up with some lyrics. Watch the duo show off some true impromptu talent, and if this makes you miss the '90s, check out the Saved by the Bell cast reunion.

Will Smith, the Hollywood superstar, has been so busy the past decade making blockbusters that Will Smith, the multi-platinum rapper formerly known as the Fresh Prince, hasn't released new music since 2005's Lost and Found. Aside from the occasional Carlton Dance, Smith has shown almost no desire to rejoin a music world now occupied by his children, but on The Tonight Show, Smith reconnected with the Fresh Prince of yesteryear to beatbox and then perform Rob Base and DJ E-z Rock's "It Takes Two" with Jimmy Fallon.

Jimmy Fallon took his love for the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air a step further on Thursday's Tonight Show when he invited the show's star Will Smith to rap and beatbox with him. Needless to say, it was "out of sight."
Smith and Fallon started out creating their own beats using an iPad app, only to later perform the 1988 rap "It Takes Two" by Rob Base and DJ E-z Rock.
Video: Jimmy Fallon Performs with Neil Young While Impersonating Neil Young
Smith was so into the song that he and Fallon stood up and got the audience involved. "I wanna rock right now! Sing!" the Focus star screamed out to the crowd.
It was clear the rapper-turned-actor, a.k.a. "Big Willy", has been missing the music game as he hasn't recorded anything new since 2005.
If they weren't already, after this performance Fallon and Smith are definitely "known on the microphone."

Will Smith and Jimmy Fallon didn’t need a band at all to perform the hip-hop classic “It Takes Two” on “The Tonight Show” Thursday night (though that didn’t stop The Roots from chiming in for the chorus). Fallon and Smith took turns performing various beatbox sounds to create drums, bass and even a high hat. Finally, they did the classic backing whoops that recur throughout the 1995 hit by Rob Base & DJ Ez Rock. See video: Will Smith’s Feelings for...
