How did you get cast as Lois?
I was working on MADtv, which was developed by Leslie Kolins Small, who at the same time was shepherding Seth with Family Guy. Originally, they thought Family Guy was going to be interstitials during MADtv. I did the pilot presentation. I met Seth and went in the booth and just started doing this voice. It was inspired by my cousin in Long Island but was slowah … and lowah.
What’s your all-time favorite episode?
Impossible to answer. I will say one we did recently, [season 21’s] “The Munchurian Candidate,” made me laugh so hard. Lois and Peter’s love life is stalled, and Lois would like him to pleasure her in a certain way. So they go to a therapist, who gives him hypnotherapy. Nickelodeon announced its latest TV movie Wednesday titled “Bixler High Private Eye,” starring Jace Norman and Ariel Martin, TheWrap has exclusively learned. The comedy tells the story of a young sleuth whose father suddenly goes missing.
Norman plays Xander DeWitt, whose dad Russell leave for work one day and doesn’t come back. Xander’s mom then sends him to live with his grandfather — who used to be a private eye — but it’s in his father’s hometown where the mystery really picks up. Xander finds a surprising lead in the case and meets Kenzie Messina, played by Martin, who is a reporter for the school paper.
The TV movie also marks “Henry Danger” star Norman’s first time as executive producer. See the exclusive first look photo above.

Recently launched Idw Entertainment, along with George Lopez and his Travieso Production Company, has announced the development of "Wormwood," an animated television series based on the acclaimed Idw comics created by artist Ben Templesmith.
David M. Stern ("Ugly Americans," "The Simpsons") has been tapped to write the pilot episode and serve as an executive producer on the series. Circle of Confusion ("The Walking Dead") will also executive produce.
Idw Entertainment will fund development of the series, which will soon be marketed to the networks.
"Wormwood" follows the paranormal and obscene adventures of an inter-dimensional worm with the ability to animate corpses as host bodies. "Wormwood" blends horror and humor, crafting a dark tale perfectly suited for the world of animation.

The CW is going star crazy with George Lopez. The network is teaming with Lopez to develop Star Crazy, a Latina-focused musical drama, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The star has signed on opposite George Lopez in the story, based on Joshua Davis’ Wired magazine story.
Pantelion Films, the red-hot distribution joint venture of Lionsgate and Televisa that released the Labor Day smash Instructions Not Included, will handle the film.
Sean McNamara will direct and Lopez produces through his Travieso Productions with David Alpert of Circle Of Confusion, Rick Jacobs, Leslie Kolins Smith and Ben Odell.
Principal photography began this month in New Mexico on the story of four undocumented Mexican-American teenagers from Phoenix who build an underwater robot and beat the reigning champions MIT to win the national robotics competition.
Tomei will portray a dedicated and passionate teacher who helps the team to success.

Pantelion Films, the joint venture between Lionsgate and Mexican media corporation Televisa, has cast Oscar-winning actress Marisa Tomei to star in La Vida Robot opposite George Lopez. Based on Joshua Davis' Wired magazine story, the film is being directed by Sean McNamara. On the heels of the breakout success of Pantelion‘s Spanish-language comedy Instructions Not Included, the feature venture between Lionsgate and Mexican media giant Televisa as well the companies’ TV studio South Shore have signed an overall film and TV deal with top Latino comedy actor George Lopez. Lionsgate is already in business with Lopez with Saint George, a 10/90 comedy series at FX. The first project under the new agreement is Pantelion Films’ English-language feature La Vida Robot, starring and produced by Lopez, which is slated to begin production in mid-October in New Mexico.
