Christmas came a little bit early for Jessica Jones fans, with Netflix announcing on Saturday the Marvel show is returning on March 8, 2018. With a 55-second teaser video, the show’s official social pages show Krysten Ritter is back to kick some more ass and toss out Jones’ trademark cutting, sarcasms in Season 2. “If you say ‘with great power comes great responsibility,’ I swear I’ll throw up on you,” says Jones as the clip closes. Alex Jones has expanded his talents to cross-examining inanimate objects. The “Info Wars” head honcho isn’t afraid of asking the tough questions everyone else is too scared to ask, even when he’s talking to a home speaker. Jones grilled an Amazon Echo on his show on Friday, asking Alexa — the device’s personal assistant — about its connections to the CIA. “Alexa… are you connected to the CIA?” asked Jones, as he looked at the speaker with the “Suspicious Larry David” face. Alex Jones says a plot to assassinate President Trump is afoot. On his radio show, Wednesday, the bombastic conspiracy theorist said he had been in contact with the secret service over the issue and that members of the organization plan meet with him and share data. “I had the Secret Service call me yesterday, and it wasn’t a secret meeting, but they want to come here and — it’s total twilight zone — and want me to brief them on all the data we’ve collated on whose setting up a plan to kill the president,” said Jones. “They were directed by.

Someone tell “Saturday Night Live” that Melissa McCarthy would make a pretty perfect Alex Jones, in case they need one. Guest hosting “Jimmy Kimmel Live” as Kimmel is off this week while his infant son recovers from heart surgery, McCarthy went full conspiracy theorist, starting with a denial of climate change. “As you know, there has been a lot of talk these days about the environment, our changing climate, and global warming,” McCarthy said while dressed as a Menorah. “Now some people say it’s real. And then the really smart people, they know it’s a ruse invented by the illuminati.

Alex Jones is sounding the alarm about liberal lesbians who will eat your brain. “That’s the liberals,” said Jones. “They want to get you in a dungeon. They want to strap you down and take a buzz saw and cut the top of your head off like a pumpkin and pull it off and get a little spoon and go, when you’re looking in the mirror — this is one thing I know they like to do — they go, ‘I’m going to eat your brain now.'” Jones made the remarks during an airing of his conspiracy-minded radio show “InfoWars” on.

Ten years after the invention of the “Drunk History” format, comedian Derek Waters is reconsidering how to describe the performers who get wasted, then narrate their take on a pivotal moment in history. “I want to start calling them ‘storytellers,'” he said. “It sounds more important. I think ‘narrator’ sounds like a voiceover actor.”
Indeed, the term “narrator” doesn’t quite do justice to what intoxicated celebrities bring to the series, which returned to television Tuesday night after nearly 13 months off the air.
Tuesday’s “Drunk History Christmas Special” will be followed by the show’s full return on January 23. It’s been a long time since new “Drunk History” episodes premiered, something Waters (who co-created the show with Jeremy Konner) acknowledged. “If I was a fan, I’m thinking the show’s over,” he said. “‘I thought you were dead.’ But that’s better like that than people going,...
