Hollywood star Kevin Costner has been officially named at the actor accused of performing a lewd sex act in front of a masseuse while honeymooning in Scotland in 2004. The 34-year-old woman, who worked at the five-star Old Course Hotel spa in St Andrews, Scotland, alleged Costner grabbed her while she was massaging him, before dropping his towel and exposing himself. The Bodyguard star actor was honeymooning at the hotel with his second wife Christine in October 2004, as well as attending a celebrity golf tournament alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Hugh Grant. The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, claims she was fired from her job soon after she complained to managers about Costner's alleged behavior. Yesterday, the masseuse was awarded an undisclosed payout from the hotel after accusing them of unfair dismissal and sexual discrimination. At the Dundee, Scotland, tribunal on Tuesday, lawyers successfully argued Costner's name should be revealed in the British press. When rumors circulated last month linking Costner to the case, his publicist Paul Bloch issued a statement, saying, "We find it unfortunate that Mr. Costner's name has been brought into what is essentially a dispute between a company owned by a good friend of his and a former employee - and that it would tarnish what was a wonderful time spent at this resort with his wife." Following the recent development, Block reiterates, "This was never about Kevin Costner. It was a dispute between a hotel and an ex-employee." The hotel is owned by Costner's businessman friend Herb Kohler.
