Kate Middleton and Prince William's love story seems like a real-life fairy tale: girl has a crush on famous boy, girl meets boy at school, the two fall in love, get married, have kids, and she basically becomes a princess (or duchess, in her case). But while they seem to have the whole "we're in love" thing down, William's parents, Prince Charles and Princess Diana, didn't always find that so easy. The couple had a famously tumultuous relationship, something that began even before their lavish July 1981 wedding. RelatedPrince Harry Literally Needs a Permission Slip to Marry Meghan Markle According to Sally Bedell Smith, the author of the biography Prince Charles: The Passions and Paradoxes of an Improbable Life, the two had a courtship more similar to The Bachelor than real life. Charles and Diana only went on 12 dates before he popped the question in February 1981. Sally reports that...

On Monday night, Bachelor fans were treated to two scintillating hours of Women Tell All drama, but grab another glass of wine -- Et was at the Wta taping, and can reveal 23 things you didn’t see on TV!
1. The taping is Long.
Guys, it starts around 2 p.m. and goes until about 9. Chris Harrison joked at one point, “What day is it?! We should make the show longer.”
2. Corinne had plenty of allies, whether cameras were rolling or not.
On Women Tell All, breakout star Corinne Olympios cemented that she is not a reality TV villain! The Florida native had solid things to say and many of her fellow contestants defended her. From minute one of the taping, she got along with most of the gals on set. As she sat down, Corinne chatted and laughed with her fellow ladies, especially pals Josephine and Lacey. No voodoo dolls here (that we could see)!

It’s that time again, Bachelor nation.
On Monday’s Women Tell All, Nick Viall‘s castaways gathered for one giant, televised tea-spilling session — and it was glorious. Here’s a quick breakdown of the 10 most important moments that happened during the two-hour episode special.
1. Someone uttered the words “slob kabob” on national television.
Every Tell All there’s always that one contestant that literally not a single person recognizes or remembers being on the show. This time it was Elizabeth. Who is she? When was she eliminated? Has she ever actually spoken to Nick? We’ll never know, but...

Another week of The Bachelor, another topless Corinne moment. Happy Monday, guys.
Last week’s episode ended on a cliffhanger, with Nick Viall deciding to eliminate Liz — a contestant he’d previously had a one-night stand with months before — in the middle of a group date. Instead of showing us what went down during the rest of the date, this week’s episode jumped right into the women catching each other up on the Liz drama back at the house as they got ready for the cocktail party that night.

The Bachelor contestant Elizabeth “Liz” Sandoz made headlines at the start of this season — when it emerged she had a one-night stand with Bachelor Nick Viall before taking part in the show. The 29-year-old says the steamy rendezvous took place back in January 2016, when Liz met Nick at her Bff Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert’s wedding. She admitted: “I’ve been carrying around a secret — I met Nick at Jade and Tanner’s wedding, and we had sex.” Liz also admitted to fellow contestant Christen Whitney that the hookup took place while she was “wasted”. But who is Liz and...read more...

Jade Roper is admittedly “disappointed” with Bachelor Nick Viall.
On Monday evening’s season 21 premiere of The Bachelor, audiences watched Viall and contestant Elizabeth “Liz” Sandoz come face-to-face — nine months after they had a one-night stand following Roper and Tanner Tolbert’s January 2016 wedding.
Although Viall, 36, asked for Sandoz’s phone number after their steamy night together, the maid of honor refused. But when she found out that he was picked as ABC’s newest leading man, 29-year-old Sandoz threw her hat in the ring for a second shot at romance with Viall.

Trust me, I was as shocked as you were when I was first asked to be the Bachelor. Believe it or not, I thought each season of The Bachelorette would be my last, and Bachelor in Paradise was no different. So, when I was asked to be the Bachelor it was avery surreal moment.

Happy season 21 premiere, Bachelor nation.
As we all know, Nick Viall is the franchise’s “most controversial” pick for Bachelor so far because he was a Bachelorette runner-up twice and spent a summer on Bachelor in Paradise. We heard about this a lot during Monday night’s premiere episode and we are likely going to hear it a lot more throughout the season. Nick is controversial. He talks about sex! He has sex! We get it. Moving on.
Nick’s intro consisted largely of shots of him hanging out in Chicago with his shirt off, even though he almost definitely lives in Los Angeles now.

2015 saw the start (or at least official dubbing) of #PeakTV, a recognition of the wealth of excellent television available to fans of the medium. This is reflected in PopOptiq’s staff list for the year: While our site-wide list separated neatly into a consensus just-over Top 20, 50 separate series received votes. Series from each of the networks and a wide range of cable channels and streaming services were nominated, showing just how wide an array of viewing options are available, and the variety of topic, tone, and theme of the series comprising the list is truly refreshing. 2015 is the year the glut of quality television threatened to overwhelm even the biggest TV fans. Here are the 20+ that stood out to our staff.

The "Bachelor" franchise may not have sparked very many trips down the aisle for the main stars and chosen winners from the reality dating shows, but it's well known that alums from both the male and female iterations get together all the time for parties and mingling.
Which means that several couples have spawned from "The Bachelor/ette" shows, made up of people who were from two different seasons -- Chris Lambton/Peyton Wright and Blake Julian/Holly Durst have both tied the knot and now it's another couple's turn.
Elizabeth Kitt, of Jake Pavelka's "Bachelor" season, and Ty Brown, of Ali Fedotowsky's "Bachelorette" season, were married Saturday (March 15) in Kingston Spring, Tenn.
"The ceremony took place yesterday in our barn on our wooded property," the couple tells Us Weekly. "We had just immediate family in attendance. We wrote our own vows, so the ceremony was very intimate and personal.

Party-planning can be a daunting task for anyone during the holidays, but this year proved busier than most for Bachelorette alum Jen Schefft, whose daughter Mae Elizabeth (with husband Joe Waterman) turned 1 on Nov. 13.
“We had a little party here at our house,” she tells People. “It was a great day to get everyone together and celebrate her first birthday. The theme was pink with white polka dots.”

Not that Mae noticed all of the festivities going on around her; she was more interested in her gifts, including items from children’s retailer Wonder!, which recently opened right outside of Chicago.

Disgusting. That's what I'm thinking; that's my gut instinct. It's reminiscent of the swimming-pool changing rooms back at school, where I'm scared to look at anything in case it offends someone. This is the Homage to Lucian Freud, one of Britain's best modern artists, who died on 20 July 2011. Seventeen paintings by Freud are displayed. I'm standing in an eerily plain room in the Metropolitan Museum of Art 3,000 miles away from where I'm comfortable.
The only painting I can easily look at is, funnily enough, Naked Man, Back View. The only one that doesn't contain full-frontal nudity offers full dorsal nudity. It shows a fat man plonked on a footstool. His sitting position pushing out roll...

Kiptyn Locke and Tenley Molzahn were not only runners-up on their seasons of "The Bachelorette" and "The Bachelor," but now they are runners-up on "Bachelor Pad." BUt they aren't surprised that Natalie and Dave won.
"We realized strategy-wise, it wasn't the best move [to take Dave and Natalie to the finals]," Kiptyn tells us. "The better strategy move probably would've been to bring the other couple."
We had to ask that had Kiptyn and Tenley been eliminated before the finals, would they have voted for Dave and Natalie or Kovacs and Elizabeth. They both say Dave and Natalie.
"They played a very strategic game ... but they didn't do it hurting anybody," says Tenley. "They played the game kind of how we did, but with really playing the game," she laughs.
Now that their reality show hijinks are over, Kiptyn wants to concentrate on an online business he started called Hope Rose.

On the "Bachelor Pad" finale on Monday night, one lucky couple won $250,000, but there was a twist. Would they split the money, or would just one of them get to keep the whole thing, or would greed cause them to lose it and have the money divided equally among their fellow contestants? Happily, neither Natalie Getz nor David Good were greedy, so they each walked away with $125,000 and the beginning of a relationship. When the "Bachelor Pad" finale began, there were three couples remaining: Tenley Molzahn and Kiptyn Locke, Elizabeth Kitt and Jesse Kovacs, and Natalie and David Good, but only two of the couples would move on to the possibility of winning $250,000. In homage to "Dancing with the Stars," which premieres next Monday, the three couples were asked to compete in a ballroom dancing contest. Tenley and Kiptyn were trained by "Dwts"' professional dancer Chelsie Hightower for the foxtrot,...

'Bachelor Pad' (8Pm, ABC) season 1 finale
Who's left: David & Natalie, Kovacs & Elizabeth and Kiptyn & Tenley, the three couples who will be competing to walk away with the big $250,000 grand prize in tonight's first-season wrap-up of 'The Bachelor' spin-off that turned out to be a great summer guilty pleasure. Frankly, we think they should all get a big lump of money -- well, the women, at least -- after that humiliating 'Bachelor Pad' survey episode, which just may be the meanest thing we've ever seen in primetime. But it's a 'Dancing With the Stars'-ish competition that's going to factor into who wins the money, as 'DWtS' famous faces Chelsie Hightower, Edyta Sliwinska and Louis Van Amstel pop in to help the final six shake their groove thangs.

We've said after each of the first two weeks of Bachelor Pad's run that it reminds us of a ripoff Big Brother with one exception - no characters we really care about watching.
Last night showed, if nothing else, that some of the Pad participants can bring the drama - and not just because they will "kiss every guy in the house for like twenty bucks."
From the onset, Gia was upset that Nikki backed out of the plan to oust Kiptyn, while Elizabeth conspired to boot Gia next, and the Meathead Alliance plotted its next move.
Amazingly, for all the nasty competitions on Big Brother, this one took the cake - the guys and girls had to vote, blindfolded, on the best kisser, having sampled All of them.
If that sounds appealing, you must not have watched. Seven girls mauling your face (sorry, six ... Ashley has too much...

They say that love…. We’ll continue that song in just a bit. Let’s begin this week with a kiss. Who knew a simple little kissing contest would tear the world apart like it did in the house this week. Ashley is a high school teacher and felt like she would be compromising her values and letting her students down by taking part, so she pulled out of the competition. I have to go with my original feeling about it that day and say I respect the move. She felt like a hypocrite and I respect anybody for standing up for what they believe.

What happens when you stick 19 bachelors and bachelorettes in one bedroom and have them compete for a $250,000 prize? On Monday night's second episode of "Bachelor Pad," we found out: Lots of scheming and broken alliances as Jessie Sulidis and Craig McKinnon -- both Canadian -- were voted out of the mansion. "I honestly think it was after the first rose ceremony that the house really flipped," Jessie, who changed her strategy several times, tells Et. "Every day was like a new strategy for somebody. I just think that when Krisily heard me talking with Dave Good in the hot tub, I think it was her that went around and got everybody to not trust me and vote me out." Jessie was a swing vote, moving between the "insider" girls team, led by Elizabeth, and the "outsider" girls team, led by Gia. If she had voted with the outsiders, Craig would...

We can't believe Bachelor Pad exists, that we watched it, or that we are doing reviews of it here at TV Fanatic. But this is kind of what we do. So here goes nothing.
If anarchy, oversexed singles and a hybrid of Big Brother and The Bachelor appeals to you, this show probably seems awesome. But both are better individually.
It's just not that compelling to watch heavy petting between Jesse Beck and Natalie, or the trumped up conflict between "insiders" and "outsiders." We're just over it.
Don't get us wrong. We'll be there when The Bachelor returns. It's just that watching Bachelor rejects compete in a pie-eating contest is not must-see TV. That's all.
Weatherman Jonathan has a moment he will cherish forever.
Gia and Weatherman Jonathan ended up winning said contest. Both made it a strategy to pick people who weren't already in pairs. Gia even gave a...
