I think we might have a heart attack with how good this is: To celebrate the 10-year anniversary of “Heart Attack,” Demi Lovato released a reimagined “Rock Version” of her 2013 hit song with new vocals and a revisited production.
“I’m so happy to be able to give a new life to ‘Heart Attack’ with a sound that reflects where I am with my music,” Lovato said in a press release. “This one is for the fans who have shown so much love to the song over the last decade,...

Rita Wilson stares down her own mortality on the inspiring new single, “Throw Me a Party.” Wilson carries the buoyant tempo with her soft croon that seems to float above a pristine blend of piano, drums and guitar. The lyrics, cowritten by Wilson, Liz Rose and Sugarland’s Kristian Bush, reflect that balance with pain and resolve. “So when I’m gone throw me a party/You should dance as if I was there/Don’t be sad or be broken-hearted/Just send your voices up in the air.”

It’s a been a few years since the High School Musical franchise finally came to an end, which means it’s high time Disney found a new musical movie to turn into a hot commodity. We’ve already seen high school turned into a musical, so what could we do next? How about a callback to all the classic beach-party movies of old? Nothing says “appropriate for all ages” like teenagers singing and dancing at the hot, sunny beach in nothing but their bathing suits. That’s a lot of sex appeal Disney will have to curb. Amazingly, they might have done the trick without much effort.
Disney Channel will air Teen Beach Movie at 8 p.m. Friday, July 19 with the trailer debuting Friday at midnight on Disney.com and 9 p.m. on the Disney Channel. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the telefilm will star Ross Lynch and Maia Mitchell as Brady and McKenzie,...

It's a good week to be a Disney star turned songstress. Hot on the heels of Miley Cyrus' rumored guest stint on "Two and a Half Men," Deadline is reporting that "Lizzie McGuire" star Hilary Duff is headed back to TV, thanks to a talent and development deal with 20th Century Fox TV.
The one-year deal, as confirmed by Celebuzz, would see Duff star in a half-hour comedy that she would also produce. If that project failed to progress for any reason, 20th TV could also cast her in another comedy or drama but, according to Deadline, "the focus of the deal is on finding a half-hour idea and tailoring it to Duff’s comedic sensibilities."
Duff took to Twitter on Monday afternoon to confirm the news:
The actress has been out of the spotlight for some time, having been focused on motherhood since the birth of her son,...

New mom Hilary Duff loves showing off her 4-and-a-half-month-old son, Luca.
The 24-year-old singer and actress has been sharing her pride and joy's every milestone with her Twitter followers and it looks like little Luca is now teething.
"Luca is cutting a tooth!!! It's the cutest/saddest (because it hurts) getting so big my boy!! Gunna have a little toof lol," Duff tweeted last week to her 1.5 million followers.
Earlier this month, Duff also posted a photo of her little man in his pre-teething stage, chewing on a "Tasty toy."
Duff is clearly in heaven documenting Luca's every move, but there's also some sad news. The former Disney star tweeted that she stopped tweeting for a few days since her other baby -- her dog Lola -- is sick again.
"Hi!I've abandoned my twitter 4 a few days.Lola got very sick again and it's been very hard:( pray for my girl,...

This week’s X Factor theme was confirmed by Yvie Burnett on yesterday’s F Factor episode. On Saturday night the contestants will be singing ‘American Anthems.’
It’s another wide theme, meaning that the judges can choose almost any song, from any genre of music. Many viewers have been criticising the vague guidelines each week, however we think it works well with singers as diverse as Treyc Cohen, Wagner Carillho and Cher Lloyd.
Check out the songlist below. This will be updated and added to as more information comes in.
Wagner Carillho: Elvis Presley…..Viva Las Vegas – Zoe Griffin heard him rehearse his dance routine to the tune repeatedly, in Covent Garden’s Nuffield Health Gym yesterday. Louis Walsh was on TV3 this evening and admitted that he wants Wagner to perform in an sparkly Elvis jumpsuit!
One Direction: No Boundaries – This was the winners single from the 2009 season of American Idol.

Singer Allison Iraheta stopped over in Chicago recently, where PopStar caught up with her for a little one to one chat. In the midst of promoting her debut CD Just Like You, she's playing to sold-out crowds as the opening act for "older brother" Adam Lambert on his sizzling Glam Nation Tour this summer. The zesty red-head, who just turned 18, is riding high with a hot new single, a brand new car, and a whole lotta love and affection for the fans that helped put her there. So what's behind this musical force of nature? She's feisty, fresh, and hell-bent on keepin' it real... Fun times these days with the album, the Glam Nation Tour, the new single... Yeah, the new single featuring Orianthi, Don't Waste the Pretty. I feel so lucky to be where I'm at right now. I feel so happy. Everything's going amazing. I'm doing what I've always wanted to do.
