The trailer lays out the high concept. Ted Evans is being menaced by a man connected to a prior sin. He previously was in a fatal auto accident while driving under the influence. The man whose family he killed is about to be released from prison. The deal: “You leave your family, or I kill your family.” However, his wife isn’t so willing to give up on him. Of course, that’s because she thinks that the threat is not tangible but rather a manifestation of his guilt.

Canadian thriller “Exile” has been acquired by Electric Entertainment in the U.S., Vortex Media in Canada and Nicely Entertainment for international.
The film, shot in Powell River, British Columbia, stars Adam Beach as Ted Evans, a father struggling with his past who receives a threat from the man whose family he killed in a DUI. In order to protect his family when he is released from prison, Evans exiles himself and commits to a reclusive life; separating himself from the people he loves. Exclusive: Elise Salomon’s documentary has found a North American home following a deal with sales agent Upstream Flix.
Los Wild Ones profiles Wild Records, a label that promotes young Hispanic musicians who write and perform 50s-style rock ‘n’ roll described by aficionados as a hybrid of rockabilly and punk rock.
Dan Fisher of Gravitas Ventures brokered the deal with UpStream Flix founder Jhod Cardinal and the distributor has set a March 11 release date for the Us and Canada.
“The response to film has been infectious and we’re looking forward to expanding that internationally,” said Cardinal.
“We are doing everything possible to give the fans an opportunity to view this great documentary anywhere in the world.”...

The production, distribution and rights management company will begin talks here on the story about a man searching for meaning who gets more than he bargains for when he uncovers a family secret that leads him to a special woman.
Resonance Films’ Jason James directed the film, which wrapped production last week and is produced by James and Amber Ripley of Goodbye Productions. Jason Filiatrault wrote the screenplay.
The producers describe the project as being in the vein of 500 Days Of Summer and Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind.
