It has been a while since Starfield was released back in September 2023, but to this day, players are still loading up their saves and exploring every inch of the galaxy that they can. Due to this, one player has stumbled onto possibly one of the most depressing missions within the game and wanted to share their sadness with the rest of the world.
To be clear, there are plenty of quests within Starfield, and depending on your opinion, there are plenty of sadder quests that you will embark upon throughout your journey, but for the majority of the community, this mission takes the cake.
Starcrossed Lovers Bite the Dust in This Upsetting Starfield Mission Starfield has a vast universe to explore, but not all of it is good.
The mission in question tasks you with uncovering the story of a husband, wife, and daughter who are traveling through space on a derelict ship.

Ex-Fallout developer Nate Purkeypile has had an interesting and bountiful journey from his time at Bethesda to his career as an indie developer. Currently immersed in his new project, The Axis Unseen, Purkeypile has had to come up with innovative solutions that are doable within his current workflow, where he’s the sole developer.
One of these creative solutions came up when he realized he needed a reference for a certain model in the game. And who else came to the rescue other than his supportive wife?
Solo Developer Nate Purkeypile Brings a Piece of Him From Fallout
The Axis Unseen‘s developer snuck in a unique Easter egg that Fallout 3 also has.

It has been a rather difficult week for Xbox as there have been recent closures of four different studios that were recently acquired during the acquisition of Bethesda. Sadly, after these closures, gamers are now concerned that more studios might close and different IPs will sadly be lost to the wind.
Fortunately, due to a recent email sent by Matt Booty, Head of Xbox Game Studios, we now know that these closures weren’t in vain, as they will hopefully be used to increase the number of teams working on already progressing IPs like Fallout and Elder Scrolls.

Before its launch, Starfield was set to be Bethesda’s magnum opus, as it seemed like one of the most ambitious games ever created. Naturally, the anticipation from the developer’s fanbase was high, as its track record was enough proof of what the studio was capable of. Then came September 6, and after getting a hands-on experience, players realized that it wasn’t that great and didn’t live up to the developer’s legacy.

A lot of work in the development of Fallout and Skyrim is paying off for Nate Purkeypile as he develops The Axis Unseen all by himself. The heavy metal horror game looks out of this world. His upcoming game hasn’t got a release date, but gamers may see it coming at some point this year.
The game is being developed under his solo banner, Just Purkey Games, and will take place in an open-world setting. Recently, FandomWire sat down with Nate to discuss his journey, touching on the time spent at Bethesda and then the solo development. After the conversation, we are more than curious to play the upcoming video game.

After many years of development, Starfield really had the possibility of being one of the greatest Xbox games. Todd Howard really promoted this game as the ultimate space exploration title, but the end result was nowhere near what it really was.
According to an X post, a former employee of Bethesda, The Axis Unseen creator, talked about how he wanted to make the planet more full of life and not so procedural. Some players are even comparing it to Fallout, saying that this game has a more developed world.

Last year, Bethesda finally released the great space exploration game, Starfield, to reviews ranging from average to great. However, a significant number of fans expressed dissatisfaction with the outcome, particularly due to some poorly implemented features.

Fantasy games are one of the most popular genres in the world of gaming, and soon they will include the upcoming horror title The Axis Unseen. Despite that fact, the majority of fantasy games are infested with RPG settings. Be it Elden Ring, Baldur’s Gate, Elder Scrolls, or Dragon Age, it’s all about role-playing action.
This fantasy action-adventure title is not going to be like any other fantasy RPG. However, The Axis Unseen holds uncanny similarities with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim but obviously has some unique aspects.

Prime Video’s Fallout TV show is already making waves as it has successfully managed to capture the essence of the franchise. The same franchise that has mesmerized generations of gamers to dream of survival in a dystopic, post-apocalyptic, future/past.
Producers of the TV show have used quite a few ‘deep pulls’ from the game. Some of them are so obscure, that it feels like nobody other than the developers of the game themselves and a few superfans would get them. For example, the whiteboard outside of a terminal. And Nathan Purkeypile found it. He is the developer who put the sign in Fallout 4 in the first place. And safe to say, he was impressed.
