- Was involved in a sex scandal in 2008 when recorded engaging in sado-masochistic acts with five prostitutes. Withstanding heavy criticism and calls to stand down, Mosley held on to his position as FIA President. Later that year, Mosley won a High Court legal case for invasion of privacy against the tabloid newspaper responsible for the video recording.
- Was FIA President between 1993 and 2009; and was also the 'father' of Formula One's Concorde Agreement.
- Studied law and graduated but turned to motorsport. He raced in Formula 2 - with other Formula One drivers - but retired after he found out that he was not likely to become a world champion. Mosley set up his own F1 team - March Engineering between 1969 and 1977 - before he turned to motorsport politics.
