Plus, he has worked all over the world on a myriad of fantastic projects. But according to him, a recent project has been something he really is honored to be a part of. Nakul has been the choreographer and dance consultant for the animated show, Disney Junior’s Mira, Royal Detective since its inception. But for an upcoming episode, Nakul got even more involved.
He recently took part in a very special episode titled “The Great Kathak Mystery,” which premiers on August 9th. What is so cool is that Nakul guest stars as an animated version of himself – Guru Nakul.

So, I'm back in my kitchen to get schooled by the best chefs." And the line-up of chefs for season two is pretty impressive as it includes Aarti Sequeira, Curtis...

California’s premier culinary talents will be joining forces this week along with host Tony Hale and event co-chair/Rogers & Cowan CEO Mark Owens to raise money for global non-profit organization, March of Dimes.
The 2019 Signature Chefs Auction takes place on Thursday, Oct. 14 at the Sls Hotel in Beverly Hills, with 12 local master chefs serving up tastings of their most highly-acclaimed dishes.
“March of Dimes really delivers a simple message that if the moms are healthy then you can have strong babies,” Owens told TheWrap. “It is a real problem here in California where about 9% of babies are born premature, which is the number one cause of death for children five years and under. It is not an easy problem to solve, but it is a solvable problem,” he explained.

When you think about cooking with chicken, you probably gravitate toward boneless, skinless chicken breasts. But chicken thighs deserve more of your attention because they're so much more flavorful (dark meat Ftw), even cheaper, and just as easy to cook as chicken breasts. Not sure where to start? These recipes from some of our favorite food personalities and celebrity chefs will inspire you to incorporate chicken thighs in your next home-cooked dinner. Giada De Laurentiis: Classic Cacciatore Giada's chicken cacciatore is a classic Italian dish of braised chicken and tomato sauce. Giada's recipe calls for both chicken thighs and breasts, but you could use all thighs for even more flavor. After simmering in the garlicky sauce for about 30 minutes, the chicken becomes so tender it practically falls off the bone. Food Network Star has managed a place in the upper tier of reality competition programs, but it is somewhat unique insofar as it doesn’t really seem to have any legitimate record when it comes to meeting its alleged goal. It certainly rocketed out of the gates, and has had some notable winners, but after 11 seasons, and several shifts in format (like who chooses the winner), Food Network Star certainly draws its own audience, but it doesn’t exactly find stars… or at least, Stars.
Quick, name the last three winners and the shows they were given on the network. Good luck.
Quite honestly, the main flaw seems to be in letting people progress deeper and deeper into the competition without any idea what their show is going to be. Sure, they’re cooking, and they are, for the most part, doing pretty well with their screen challenges, but then...

The week foodies have been waiting for has finally arrived -- at least in Canada. Lucky Americans already know who won the $50,000 for their charity in the final episode of "Chopped: All-Stars" (which aired Sunday night in the U.S.) but I've avoided any and all spoilers leading up to Tuesday's Canadian finale.
The final four consists of Michael Symon (who beat out fellow Iron Chefs Cat Cora, Marc Forgione and Jose Garces), Jeffrey Saad (who took on Aarti Sequeira, Keegan Gerhard and Marcela Valladolid), Penny Davidi (who battled former "Next Food Network Star" contestants Vic "Vegas" Moea, Chris Nirschel and Justin Balmes) and Marcus Samuelsson (who, along with fellow judges Chris Santos, Marc Murphy and Alex Guarnaschelli, got to see what it felt like on the other side of the "Chopped" kitchen).
Who else was cheering for Alex? No offence to Marcus (or Chris and Marc), but I've always been a fan of Alex.

Jeff Mauro just won the seventh season of "Food Network Star" by making terrific sandwiches.
The finale taped June 1, and Food Network gave Zap2it exclusive access, with the agreement that the winner would not be revealed until the finale aired Sunday (Aug. 14). The photo above shows Mauro the moment he was named.
That finale was tense.
Judges Bobby Flay, Giada De Laurentiis and Food Network executive Susie Fogelson independently said that the final three contenders were all great, but Mauro's easy way in front of the camera and an idea no one else had put him over the top.
Mauro's show "Sandwich King" premieres Aug. 21.
For the first time, the cooking contest brought back all 15 hopefuls for a reunion show. Then, it was down to three, and Vic "Vegas" Moea, who invents his own words such as "lachanaga" -- a lasagna chimichanga -- was eliminated.

One contestant took delicious, expensive lobster and buried it under gloppy gobs of cream cheese (terrifying image embedded at the end of this recap). Another made a screeching alley-cat sound as a way to escalate her war of words with a fellow female finalist. I’m not sure who was in charge of casting Season 7 of The Next Food Network Star, but allow me to raise an Ina Garten-approved cocktail in this magnificent individual’s honor.
