The film is a Hitchcockian-sounding thriller written by Wentworth Miller, about a young woman who has to deal with the incursion of her mysterious uncle into the family after the death of her father. Are "Teen Wolf" and tacos two great tastes that taste great together? We're about to find out, since MTV's lycanthropic heartthrob Tyler Posey has signed on to star in a new comedy all about this tasty treat.
In the aptly named "Taco Shop," Posey plays a guy who decides to grab life by the tortillas, quit his job slinging someone else's tacos, and open his own business. However, his delicious dream is threatened when a high falutin' taco truck that all the food snobs love sets up shop on the other side of the street.
Posey will costar with Eric Roberts, Carlos Alazraqui ("Reno 911!"), comic Felipe Esparza, Laura Harring ("Gossip Girl," "Inland Empire"), Parvesh Cheena ("Outsourced"), and Paula Jai Parker, with Joaquin Perea directing.
Maya Entertainment, which specializes in TV and movies targeted to a Latino audience, is producing.
