Johnny Ruffo and his professional dance partner Luda Kroitor have been named the season 12 champions of Dancing with the Stars Australia. The former X Factor Australia finalist triumphed over singer-songwriter Danielle Spencer and Packed to the Rafters actress Zoe Cramond to take home the Mirror Ball trophy on Sunday evening's grand final (June 17). Dan Ewing has left Dancing with the Stars. The Australian actor, who is best known for his role as Heath Braxton in Home and Away, was eliminated with partner Luda Kroitor after failing to impress the judges with his quickstep routine. After the announcement, Ewing said: "I've had a blast. Thanks to Channel Seven, to my dance partner Luda, the amazing cast and to everyone who voted. Keep voting."
