The deal covers 22 territories including Afghanistan, Brunei, Cambodia, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Tajikistan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Vietnam – but not China, Japan or South Korea, and runs 2026-2032. "How deep are you?" "As deep as it gets." Well Go USA has debuted a brand new trailer for the official re-release of this martial arts action thriller titled Beyond Redemption. This movie originally premiered in 2015 and open in Canadian theaters in 2016, and was eventually given a proper Blu-ray / VOD release in the US by Well Go. Beyond Redemption is the only feature directed by Bruce Fontaine, a martial arts expert & stuntman who spent years in Hong Kong. It stars a group of other stuntmen in most of the roles, including Brian Ho, in a generic but entertaining undercover story. This seems like one of these underground cult hit action films that has been lost in the mix, now finally getting a chance to shine again. A weary undercover cop must maintain his cover while saving the daughter of a notorious Triad Boss from becoming collateral damage in a sting operation gone wrong.

Here’s when and where you can stream more than 20 new holiday movies and specials this year, including at least three new versions of “A Christmas Carol:” the Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell musical “Spirited;” Netflix’s animated “Scrooge” with the voices of Luke Evans and Olivia Colman; and “A New Diva’s Christmas Carol,” where the mean old miser is now a faded music star who’s now a mean old judge on a reality TV show.
And — “Mean Girls” alert — Lindsay Lohan, Lacey Chabert and Jonathan Bennett each have a holiday movie out this year. And don’t forget “Hannukah on Rye,” about two deli owners who get matched up for the holidays, featuring singer Lisa Loeb.
If you don’t have the Hallmark channel, which is Christmas movie central, their new movies will be available on-demand on Peacock for 72 hours after their network premiere and on subsequent re-airings.

When The Flash arrived on the CW, it was pitched as the anti-Arrow, a feel-good series about the joy of being a superhero. After all, the title character (Grant Gustin) was wearing a crimson and yellow suit; hard to be moody in that.
As with all CW superhero series, it was quickly over-populated with too many powered supporting players, frequently taking the focus off the hero. It also grew too reliant on speedsters, the Speed Force, and time travel, so a sameness was infused throughout each successive season. There was every reason to believe this was to be the final season, so it was plotted as such. They could have done better. Much better.

Superhost is the third film by writer/director Brandon Christensen (Still/Born) and the first that wasn’t co-written with Colin Minihan. It’s also the first that doesn’t revolve around parenthood. How well has he managed to change things up? And can he bring something new to a pair of well-worn plots, the Airbnb from hell and YouTubers getting more of a story than they bargained for?
Teddy and Claire are co-hosts of the YouTube channel Superhost! as well as being a couple off-screen. He’s even planning to propose to her when they film their next segment.
But all is not well in the world of Airbnb reviews. Their subscriber count has been dropping due to their unsensational content. They rent a remote cabin only to find that the access code has been changed.

The Flash is bringing back another familiar face.
Robbie Amell, who last appeared on The Flash Season 3, is returning for a two-episode arc.
Entertainment Weekly broke the news, but there's no telling whether he will be playing Ronnie again or if he will be on board as a new character.
If you watch The Flash online, you know Ronnie died after saving the city from a giant wormhole at the end of The Flash Season 1.
Amell played the Speed Force during The Flash Season 3, and has not been seen or heard from since.
Ronnie was an immediate fan-favorite on the series, with his character in a relationship with Caitlin.
Reuniting the pair would be fun for fans, but nothing is ever that simple in the Arrowverse.
News of Amell's return comes around six weeks after it was revealed the original star Rick Cosnett would be returning for an episode.

With just one word, The Flash has raised a big, scarlet flag for Black Lightning, it is revealed in this exclusive sneak peek at Part 3 of the CW series’ “Armageddon” event (airing tonight at 8/7c).

This The Flash: Armageddon article contains spoilers.
The Flash Season 8 Episode 1
“This is not a crossover,” showrunner Eric Wallace tells me via Zoom of Armageddon, the five episode event story that kicks off The Flash Season 8. “I cannot stress that enough. This is a five part special event, which means it’s a traditional graphic novel centered around Flash that’s a little bit bigger. A little bit more exciting, a little bit extra, the emotions are a little deeper, but it is not a crossover.”
That doesn’t mean that Armageddon isn’t big. It is. Five episodes, six heroes in addition to the Team Flash regulars, and one of the most legendary villains in Justice League history all turn up over the course of Armageddon. Just maybe not all at once.
“What I don’t want to do is get people ready for a scene with 20 heroes in...

A few weeks ago, Brandon Christensen’s latest genre offering, Superhost, made its streaming debut exclusively on the Shudder platform, and fans from all over have been falling in love with Christensen’s hilariously unsettling vacation from hell. Written, directed, produced, and edited by Christensen, Superhost stars Gracie Gillam, Sara Canning, Osric Chau, and Barbara Crampton. Daily Dead recently had the opportunity to chat with the multi-hyphenate about the real-life inspiration behind the story of Superhost, his experiences collaborating with his cast, and more.
And if you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, be sure to watch Superhost now that it’s currently available on Shudder.
So great to speak with you, Brandon. I really loved this, and everyone was great here. But Gracie to me, holy crap—she really impressed me. I've seen her pop up in other things, but this to me was a whole new level for her.

We miss Arrowverse crossovers and big team-ups. Of course, we understand why that wasn’t in the cards for the most recent seasons of our favorite DC TV shows. The pandemic made the logistics of filming TV shows at all a challenge, let alone ones with the kind of scale we’ve come to expect from the CW’s lineup of DC Arrowverse shows.
Not only that, their most recent crossover, Crisis on Infinite Earths was literally So big that topping it in any capacity was going to be almost impossible. It’s one of the most recognizable and beloved stories in all of DC Comics history, and the TV version managed to encompass much of the scope of DC TV and movies. It was a massive storytelling accomplishment, and the various Arrowverse showrunners had already said that their next crossovers would be smaller in scale, even before Covid hit.

“Supergirl” may be ending this season, but that doesn’t mean we’re losing all the Super Friends right away. Chyler Leigh is set to return as Alex Danvers this November as part of the “Armageddon” crossover event on “The Flash,” and she’s thrilled to have more time to be Sentinel.
We don’t know much about the plot of the special itself, beyond the fact that Team Flash is facing “a powerful alien threat arrives on Earth under mysterious circumstances.” That alien threat is apparently powerful enough to wipe out humanity, causing Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton) to call in some reinforcements.
“What I will say is I am very, very, very grateful to be part of it. I was asked if I was interested, and if I wanted to, you know, take part and I was like, ‘Uhhh, hell yeah,'” Leigh told TheWrap.

Exclusive: Grace Choi is officially here to stay on The CW’s Black Lightning. Chantal Thuy, who plays the shapeshifting metahuman on the Arrowverse superhero drama, has been upped to series regular for season four.
