Hollywood’s actors and writers are on strike. Could reality TV stars be next? Rhony alum Bethenny Frankel thinks it’s time for reality stars to unionize and fight back against what she says is exploitation by the networks and streaming services, which are making millions off the work of stars like herself.

Unlike actors, reality TV stars are generally not part of SAG-AFTRA, whose members are currently on strike. Frankel, who rose to fame on The Real Housewives of New York City, wants that to change. She’s taken to social media to call out networks and streamers that she says take advantage of naive talent who are desperate for a chance at fame.

We need to start slipping canned goods and secret messages into the "Big Brother" house, because it's basically a hostage situation in there. Two weeks into its 16th season, "Big Brother" is feeling (in order) a little dull, a little thrilling, and scary. Dull because half the house is alleged people named "Victoria" and "Jocasta" and "Cody" who've yet to do anything but blink a little and have a first name. Thrilling because "Zrankie"/"Zankie" is real, and I just want to watch Zach and Frankie giggle and gyrate in the pool all day. Scary because Devin, who is just a frowning pile of cinder blocks, is somehow a commanding authority at the moment. The whole house is afraid of his tugboat-sized arms and unreal lack of self-awareness. He's like the brawniest goldfish of all time. With that horrifying image in mind, let's descend into the episode. 8:04: In...

She was the "Disney Girl" turned redheaded bombshell with "legs for days" on this cycle of America's Next Top Model: College Edition. After witnessing her personal struggle to achieve Best Photo each week, audiences waved goodbye to Brittany Brown twice in the last two weeks! Yes, Brittany was first eliminated after falling into the bottom two with Victoria then Tyra welcomed back the previously eliminated models. As Leila re-claimed a spot in the competition, Brittany was forced to walk away.
Aside from all the bad news, Brittany holds onto her positive outlook. Her time spent in the competition has taught her well about the industry she yearns to belong to, yet one time might be enough.
I was given the opportunity to present Brittany with a "final exam" and would like to thank her for her time in answering these questions.

America's Next Top Model left off last week with a decision that will have major implications for the rest of cycle 19. One of the eliminated contestants would get a chance to re-enter the competition and make another run at the title, which could go one of two ways. Either the girl that comes back will be on a roll, having won over the social media crowd, and challenge for the top spot, or she would go from being the big fish in a small pond to a guppy in a the Top Model ocean and not live up to the opportunity that she had been afforded. If the right girl managed to get plucked from a near-elimination and dropped back into the competition, there could be trouble for the current favorites.

Cycle 19 of America's Next Top Model is trudging on, and we're down to just six girls. Of course, the models who have previously been eliminated also have a chance to get back in the competition, but there's been no mention of that. In the meantime, we've got to keep weeding them out. Onwards! Returning to the house after the last panel, Laura is stressed that she was in the bottom two, considering she was on such a high previously. Brittany's also received a letter from her sister, which is meant to be an emotional experience (as underscored by the plucky guitar ballad) and encourages her to be someone her sister can be proud of. The next morning at breakfast, Victoria is finally eating again, considering the fuss that was made about it to Tyra. She may or may not be overcompensating as she sits down at the breakfast table...

Hello all, and welcome! Before I get down to recapping this week's eventless go-sees and subsequent waste of a good prison rental space, I'd like to discuss the Tyrabomb that was dropped this week (which I saw via terrifying Instagram post): namely, that the theme of Cycle 20 of America's Next Top Model (yes, it somehow got renewed) will be Boys And Girls. Yes, you read correctly – Tyra, assumedly in a scramble to salvage the rapidly sinking SS Antm, has revoked her pledge to never have male contestants on her show (Isis excluded) and swallowed her claim that there are no name-recognition male models. I admit, there was a time when I had dreams of becoming a model, but Tyra had shut her doors to my unfortunate gender. I feel slighted, overlooked, and frankly, disappointed in Antm. All I can say is Their Loss.
Now on to this week's episode!

Good morning!
The Real L Word's Romi Klinger went on Dr. Drew's Hln show last night and talked about receiving hate mail, having daddy issues and how getting sober had her rethinking men.
I hope no one who watched that show thinks all lesbians hate bisexual women, that Romi's back to men because she needs a man to protect her, or that being an alcoholic leads to lesbianism. On that note, here's a clip of Romi and Dusty from tonight's season finale.
Meanwhile, Sara's parents are in town for the wedding.
Naya Rivera talked with The Hollywood Reporter about Season 4 of Glee. So what's Brittana up to?
At the start of the season, they're definitely still together — she's at the high school dealing with all the new people and Santana is at Louisville dealing with her new schedule there.

This season of Top Model is all about becoming a recognizable "brand" -- to achieve riches and fame not just with mere modeling, but with personality.
Cycle 4's Brittany Brower originally forged her way into Antm fans' hearts with her big laugh, fun-loving attitude and unflagging honesty. (Oh, and she also happens to be gorgeous and a great model. That doesn't hurt, either.) So when it was announced that Brittany was cast in the all-star cycle, she seemed like a shoo-in for the finals, because she's all about personality!
Now, after being eliminated first from the all-star cast, Brittany's not holding back the honesty, this time about her own suspicious elimination: "It doesn't make sense. I don't believe it," she told me of Tyra's reasoning, which was that Brittany simply wasn't memorable enough to the fans at their live judging panel.

Brittany Brower was the first all-star sent home from "America's Next Top Model" - but she says she's eventually going to have her own show and Tyra better watch her back.
Are you glad you came back, even though you went home first?
"Absolutely. Everything in life happens for a reason, I'm a huge believer in that. I always think there's a purpose to everything and in this case, there definitely is. I might not completely know what it is yet, but just coming back has pushed me back and reminded me why I wanted to be in this industry to begin with. I'm a competitive person by nature, so if anything it's just pushing me harder."
What made you want to compete again?
"I have a medical spa that I opened in Los Angeles with one of my best friends and I opened up my modeling agency, it's Brittany Brower...

Isis King is a self-proclaimed Renaissance woman and America's Next Top Model's only transgender contestant. The cycle 11 vet, who famously transitioned on television, returned to Antm as one of 14 all star models and blogs exclusively for TV Watch about cycle 17's premiere episode. In this post, the fan-favorite poser sounds off about the show's model-mansion, wearing a revealing bikini, being judged by rapper Nicki Minaj and landing on top with the coveted photo of the week: I walked into the mansion (which made the cycle 11 house look like an apartment in comparison) full of beautiful Top Models with intriguing personalities that matched.

We're here, "America's Next Top Model" fans. The newest cycle and probably the one we've most been looking forward to - all-stars. After a terrifying open where Tyra is apparently being haunted by the past contestants, we meet our girls:
Shannon Stewart (Cycle 1), Camille McDonald (Cycle 2), Brittany Brower (Cycle 4), Lisa D'Amato (Cycle 5), Bre Scullark (Cycle 5), Bianca Golden (Cycle 9), Dominique Reighard (Cycle 10), Isis King (Cycle 11), Sheena Sakai (Cycle 11), Allison Harvard (Cycle 12), Laura Kirkpatrick (Cycle 13), Angelea Preston (Cycle 14), Kayla Ferrel (Cycle 15) and Alexandria Everett (Cycle 16).
Here is our photo gallery if you want to check out the all-star ladies.
I'll have to confess - Cycle 7 was the first one I watched, so the girls from prior to that one are new to me. I apologize if I don't know what they're all about right away. But let's get to it!
Highlights from the intros

America's Next Top Model star Brittany Brower has said that each contestant on the 'All-Stars' cycle will be "stepping it up to an even higher level than before" because they know what got them eliminated last time. Tyra Banks's modelling competition will welcome back fan favorites including cycle four's Brittany to battle for the prizes in its upcoming 17th cycle, which premieres Wednesday, September, 17 on The CW. Brittany said in a new video posted by The CW: "This season is definitely going to be a lot different. Everyone is way more experienced. They have already done this. "We have been critiqued, we have been kicked off, we know our weaknesses and the things that got us kicked off in the first place, so this time we all know what is going on a little bit and we all have to bring it up and step it up to an...

We're a week away from the premiere of America's Next Top Model: All-Stars, and while we're still having a blast reliving the past with our "Know Your Top Model All-Stars" series (read the latest one here!), it's time to look toward the season and find out just how excited we ought to be to have this cast of characters back in Tyra's clutches.
According to two new interviews with those in the know, noted fashion photographer/Antm panel mainstay Nigel Barker and all-star contestant Brittany Brower, there just aren't enough synonyms for "crazy" to describe the competition this cycle.
"Well, there's a lot of big personalities. Obviously they brought back all of the divas, all of the crazy girls, the funny ones. It's jam-packed with personalities," Brittany, whom we originally saw on cycle 4 back in 2005, tells Wetpaint. As far as the "biggest diva" among the returning models, Brittany said,...

To prepare ourselves for the crazy, perhaps catastrophic premiere of America's Next Top Model: All Stars, let's familiarize ourselves with the contestants. We know a lot about these ladies from their time on the show, but what have they accomplished since then? What mysterious mystical force convinced them to take another shot at the much-coveted and often laughed-at title? Was it Tyra?
Some of these questions will be answered throughout this week, when we take a look back at the lives of these All-Star contestants. We'll also highlight a few of their best moments on America's Next Top Model.
For today, let's take a look at our resident Janice Dickinson look-alike, Brittany Brower.

The complete lineup includes: rap sensation Nicki Minaj; comedienne Kathy Griffin; pop star and author Latoya Jackson; actress and singer Ashlee Simpson; model and actor Tyson Beckford; reality star Kristin Cavallari; rapper Game; model Coco Rocha; Anthony Zuiker,...

When "America's Next Top Model" announced that the next cycle would be an "All-Stars" round, we couldn't be more pleased. In fact, we wondered what took so long?
The show taped a fashion show in Los Angeles on Wednesday (May 11) with all the judges and, hello, the models who are returning to battle it out for what they believed was theirs in the first place.
We're most surprised that delusional, but hilarious Jade Rodan from Cycle 6 wasn't included. And we're sad to see that they've invited "Why the long face?" Alexandria Everett from the current Cycle as she was extremely annoying and we haven't been able to enjoy her elimination long enough.
Who are we excited to see again? We thought Cycle 11's transgender contestant Isis King could stand another chance. And we're happy we'll be able to see if farm girl Laura Kirkpatrick has become worldlier since Cycle 13. And finally,...

But I have another reason to thank you: According to the all-stars line-up circulating the Web, you actually recruited some of my suggested alums! (Though The CW is not making any announcements yet.)
