David P. Jacobs is a five-time National Capital Emmy-Award winning producer/director. His first awards were technical Emmys for television commercials for ABC. In 2007, he produced Frank Cho's debut film "Dr. Rossum's Prodigal Son." In 2010, he produced the Washington Post profile video, "Creating the World of Frank Cho", which received three Emmy Awards. In 2014, he helmed the Emmy-nominated commercial ad "Creating Beautiful Women: The Frank Cho Method" and the instructional video that accompanied the published book. David has just completed production on the commercial ad for "World of Payne", a graphic novel illustrated by Frank Cho and written by Thomas Sniegoski.
David earliest credits were as a Lighting Director for The Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel and The National Geographic Channel. With titles like "The Great Books Series" (TLC), "Riddles of the Dead: Dracula Unearthed"
