LeBron James gave in to the NBA for Miami Heat’s game against the Orlando Magic, swapping out his black mask for the favored clear one.
Lebron James Black Mask Saga
Though James didn’t reveal the reasons the NBA gave him for “requesting” that he use a clear mask to protect his broken nose, the NBA Mvp stated his willingness to comply.
"It's not a league rule, but it's the league's request that you don't wear the black one,” James said in his pre-game media session. “For the reasons that they told me, it didn't make sense to me. But hey, I'm just a player in this league and I will abide by this request -- I'm not even going to say rule, but request -- by the NBA."
"I don't want to get into it," James added. "I'm good with the NBA. We're good. I am not against the NBA.

The couple that sings together, stays together. Gabrielle Union and fiancé Dwyane Wade sang karaoke for a cause Monday at South Beach Battioke at the Fillmore Miami Beach, which benefitted Shane Battier's Take Charge Foundation. Union strutted her stuff to "I've Got Friends in Low Places" while reigning NBA Mvp LeBron James sang "Back That A-- Up" and brought the house down when he, Wade, and Udonis Haslem grooved to Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines." The Hangover star Ken Jeong also made an appearance with a convincing Guns N Roses rendition. Prior to showing off her country side on stage,...

The Miami Heat players are quite the comedians! They’ve jumped on the ‘Harlem Shake’ craze and released their own version of the viral video. Watch!
Chris “Birdman” Anderson starts the Miami Heat video by dancing around the locker room, flailing his arms like a bird. His teammates are seen stretching or sitting by their lockers. Suddenly, as in all “Harlem Shake” videos, the camera cuts to the entire team dancing in costume! This is a video that must be seen!
In the hilarious clip, Mario Chalmers dressed as Super Mario, LeBron James dressed up like a king, Chris wore a bird ensemble — he is the “birdman,” Dwyane Wade wore a bear head, and Ray Allen had a “Phantom of the Opera” type mask on.
The video, which has now gone viral itself, was posted on February 28. As of March 2, the video already has 11 million views!

Hey, don't sweat it, Russell Westbrook. The Thunder may have lost an up-and-down, frenetic game against the Miami Heat last night, but Russell Westbrook did a pretty good job and put forth a pretty good effort in defeat. In addition to his 43 points, Westbrook added 7 boards and 5 assists, a solid all-around game that would have been improved had he not committed a stupid foul toward the end of regulation.
I personally think the so-called "boneheadedness" of the foul on Mario Chalmers is a bit overblown; if Kevin Durant goes up and grabs the jump ball rather than letting Shane Battier tip it out to Chalmers, Westbrook doesn't find himself in that situation. Yeah, it was a stupid play, and Westbrook should have known there were only five seconds left on the shot clock, but he's not the only one at fault.
But don't let me tell you about it... God...

Oh Russell Westbrook. Coming into game 4, the Oklahoma City Thunder point guard had received mixed reviews on his 3 prior performances. Westbrook had averaged 24 ppg but on shaky 41% shooting, leaving many to expect more from the all-star. On Tuesday night, Westbrook delivered with an electrifying 41 point explosion but capped it off with a play that may cost the Thunder the championship.
Not to say that this was exactly Westbrook’s doing, but his bonehead foul on Miami’s Shane Battier after a jump ball between Miami’s Udonis Haslem and Okc’s James Harden threw away any chance the Thunder had of tying the game. Had Westbrook not had such a great game leading the Thunder, he would be despised in Thunder nation.
Still, Westbrook cannot be entirely blamed on the loss, as some of the weight must fall on Kevin Durant who was once again thoroughly outplayed by Miami’s LeBron James.

Game 3 of the NBA Finals has concluded and the Miami Heat have a well-earned 2-1 series lead over the Oklahoma City Thunder. The battle between LeBron James and Kevin Durant has been a clear focus throughout the series, and thus far neither has been disappointing. Some may argue that with Miami leading the series LeBron James without a doubt should be viewed as the better player of the two. While I do agree with that statement, this article will explain some other notable reasons for why the King truly is the King.
Based on statistics, LeBron James has narrowly been the better player. Here are some statistics that show how they measure up.
Lebron James: 30.3 ppg, 10.3 rpg, 4 apg, 1.7 spg, 46% fg, 86% ft, 9.7 fta
Kevin Durant: 31 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 1.6 apg, 1 spg, 1.3 bpg, 57% fg, 74% ft, 6.3 fta
While Durant has been a marginally better scorer and more efficient shooter, he has fallen short...

Has there ever been a more hotly-anticipated NBA trade deadline than this year's? In the midst of one of the greatest seasons in the history of the National Basketball Association (with as a dozen teams who could make a legitimate claim on the championship this year), there have already been a handful of blockbuster deals that have sent top-level superstars to new locales. So far, the centerpiece deal sent Carmelo Anthony (and a host of others, including point guard Chauncey Billups) to the New York Knicks, but there are still a number of deals that are happening or could happen before the door closes on all trade activity at 3 p.m. Eastern.
