A version of this story first appeared in the Feb. 27 issue of The Hollywood Reporter magazine. After snubs at the SAG Awards — Julianne Moore, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon declined to parade their digits for E!’s cameras — the net’s manicure camera was noticeably absent from the Grammys preshow carpet, replaced by the clutch cam. Don't expect to analyze any Oscar nominees' manicures when E!'s live red carpet show airs on Sunday, Feb. 22. The red carpet fixture has been pulled by the network due to "space constraints," senior VP of media relations Sarah Goldstein told The Hollywood Reporter (via Pret-a-Reporter). Suzanne Kolb has been promoted to executive vp marketing and communications at E! Networks, taking on added management responsibilities for E! Online, including the newly launched broadband channel the Vine @ E! Online. In addition, E! Networks has expanded the roles of three members of its marketing and communications department: Sarah Goldstein has been promoted to senior vp public relations at E! Networks, Stephen Earley will become vp integrated marketing at E! Networks, and Melissa Stone has been upped to vp marketing at Style Network. E! Networks said that Kolb's promotion from senior vp marketing builds "on a rapid period of growth" as its channels E! Entertainment Television and Style both saw ratings increases last year. E! attributed that growth in part to Kolb's work on "refreshing" the E! and Style brands as well as the launches of reality-comedy series The Girls Next Door on E! and the talk show Isaac on Style.
