Match #1: Damian Priest def. Sami Zayn The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Thanks to surprise interference from Jd McDonagh, Damian Priest overcame Sami Zayn with South of Heaven,. The win gave Señor Money in the Bank huge momentum en route to Zayn and Kevin Owens’ Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship defense against The Judgment Day at WWE Payback. Despite McDonagh’s help, an annoyed Priest shoved the interfering Superstar and stormed off. When Zayn and Owens launched a post-match counter-attack, Señor Money in the Bank refused to return to the ring to even the odd.

Match #1: Gunther def. Matt Riddle The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
With the rest of his Imperium teammates barred from ringside, Intercontinental Champion Gunther took on Matt Riddle in a non-title match. Gunther and Riddle traded submission attempts to start the match, with Gunther applying a sleeper hold followed by a triangle hold attempt by Riddle. Riddle’s early momentum was derailed by a huge chop from The Ring General, followed by a body slam onto the mat outside of the ring. As Gunther beat down Riddle, The Original Bro withstood the punishment, attempting to get the victory after a ripcord knee. Gunther did not need Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci with him, defeating The Original Bro a huge Powerbomb.

Match #1: Drew McIntyre and Matt Riddle def. Imperium The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Although Intercontinental Champion Gunther dragged Drew McIntyre out of the squared circle, he was quickly neutralized by the flying knee of Matt Riddle. The Original Bro then locked up Ludwig Kaiser as The Scottish Warrior blasted Giovanni Vinci with the Claymore Kick for the victory.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Zoey Stark def. Becky Lynch The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
During a highly personal matchup against Zoey Stark, Becky Lunch turned her attention to an interfering Trish Stratus. Unfortunately for her, the split-second distraction allowed the WWE Hall of Famer’s protégé to pick up the quick victory on Becky Lynch.

Match #1: Damian Priest def. Shinsuke Nakamura The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Competing in first match as Mr. Money in the Bank, Damian Priest took on fellow Money in the Bank competitor Shinsuke Nakamura. The action spilled to the outside as Priest dumped Nakamura onto the barricade. Conspicuous by his absence was Finn Bálor as the rest of The Judgment Day were at ringside. Nakamura locked in an armbar to try to submit Priest. As Nakamura went for the Kinshasa, Priest evaded, hitting a gnarly clothesline followed by South of Heaven to lock up his first win as Mr. Money in the Bank.

Match #1: Men’s Money in the Bank – Damian Priest def. Logan Paul, Shinsuke Nakamura, Ricochet, Santos Escobar, Butch and LA Knight The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Judgment Day’s reign of terror just became even more dangerous as Damian Priest scaled the ladder to become Señor Money in the Bank, guaranteeing himself a future championship match whenever he chooses. A wise man once said, “Do not bark up the wrong tree; that tree will fall on you.” For Kassius Ohno, that notion came clear in a matter of seconds against Matt Riddle at Nxt TakeOver: WarGames II. Following a tense back-and-forth during the WarGames II Pre-Show, The King of Bros stepped inside the Staples Center and issued an impromptu challenge to The Knockout Artist. Match #1: Matt Riddle def. Kassius Ohno The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
A wise man once said, “Do not bark up the wrong tree; that tree will fall on you.” For Kassius Ohno, that notion came clear in a matter of seconds against Matt Riddle at Nxt TakeOver: WarGames II. Following a tense back-and-forth during the WarGames II Pre-Show, The King of Bros stepped inside the Staples Center and issued an impromptu challenge to The Knockout Artist. As he accepted Riddle’s pop quiz and stepped into the ring, Ohno quickly ended up on the receiving end of his own clean-your-clock reputation. Almost instantaneously after the opening bell rang, Riddle rammed into The Knockout Artist with a rushing knee,...

Former Ufc star Matt Riddle proved to be one of the biggest upcoming stars in professional wrestling in Evolve and showed up at Nxt TakeOver Brooklyn to show fans he had finally signed with the WWE. It was a huge move for Riddle, who was basically fired from the Ufc after failing numerous drug tests (he likes his marijuana). After he left the Ufc, president Dana White came out in an interview and called him a loser and a “dummy”. In that interview, Dana White talked about how they drug test in the “real world” too, and he asked where […]

Welcome to this week’s Ring of Honor television review. I’m Nathan Favel and Roh is back at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom for a night where of the most iconic luchadores in the world returns to America to fight one of Roh’s biggest stalwarts. Let’s get right to the fights!
Match #1: Kenny King beat Johnathan Gresham
This is a great pairing; well at least that’s my opinion. King has been doing very well for himself since returning from his stint on ABC’s The Bachelor, which he will be returning to in the coming months. King has improved his promos, his presence and his wrestling, to the point that he earned some time as the Roh TV Champion for a while. Gresham, on the other hand, has been on the path to becoming one of wrestling’s best technicians in an era when...

Updated: Wwn Live have since clarified that Sami Zayn will actually only be appearing in the live crowd for the iPPV this weekend and won’t be wrestling. He will appear in the ring and do a meet & greet but won’t be performing.
Original story follows…
Gabe Sapolsky, the owner of Evolve, has revealed that Sami Zayn will be working this weekend’s shows for his company; Evolve 49 And 50 in Deer Park, NY on 10/17 and Queens, NY on 10/18.
This is a result of WWE’s partnership with Sapolsky’s group, and while it wasn’t revealed if Zayn will be in action, this could be the beginning of something major as far as sending talents back and forth for big shows. According to Sapolsky, further details on what he will be doing will be revealed in the coming days.
It’s well known WWE sees Evolve, and their...

Earlier this year, former Ultimate Fighter standout and Ufc alum Matt Riddle had a tryout with the WWE, following several months of training at the Monster Factory in New Jersey, where he has captured at least one title.
From all accounts, the tryout went well, and there was talk of Riddle joining the WWE roster, must likely on an Nxt deal.
However, it looks like the WWE want Riddle to go out and get some more experience. According to an interview with Riddle on The Roman Show, the former mixed martial artist has stated that the company has helped him secure a contract with the Evolve wrestling promotion.
I did a tryout with the WWE. The tryout went extremely well, went as well as it could. The WWE was nice enough to set me up with Evolve and wrestle for them. It’s a process. From what I see,...

Last month, the notorious former Ufc and Bellator fighter Phil Baroni was making a lot of noise about receiving an invite from the WWE to come down to WrestleMania and talk about a future with the company. Baroni, it seemed, had been training for a pro wrestling career over the past several months. The WWE would later deny the comments, but Baroni certainly garnered some attention from the story.
While there appears to be no truth to the Baroni rumours, another former Ufc talent is indeed getting a tryout with the WWE in May: Matt Riddle, a fairly popular mid-card fighter who became notorious outside the octagon for butting heads with Ufc President Dana White.
Riddle is certainly something of a character, and has surrounded himself with the right trainers to make a run in the WWE. He has been training for months at The Monster Factory in New Jersey,...

We’re full tilt in the Mma/Pro wrestling crossover. Never before have the two ventures been as closely linked as they are now. Forget that Ken Shamrock once made his way over to the WWE; now more than ever, the baddest men on the planet are looking to find work in the WWE, and the WWE superstars are considering crossing over to legitimate mixed martial arts to test their mettle.
Why? For one, Mma was not really a profitable venture twenty years ago. The likes of The Undertaker, The Rock, and Kurt Angle have all stated that if it had been, they’d likely have gone that route. Now, Mma can pay – at least top stars – and it doesn’t require a grueling travel schedule.
On the flip side, many Mma stars have grown up as fans of the WWE. Look no further than women’s champ Ronda Rousey,...

Former Ufc fighter Matt Riddle is known as a controversial fighter who once claimed smoking weed kept him from being the kind of guy who beat his family. He’s also known for having two fight results in the Ufc overturned after testing positive for marijuana metabolites. After being released from the Ufc as a result (despite having a winning record and some entertaining bouts), and having Dana White publicly slam him, he wound up in Bellator, but never made it to the cage.
Now retired from Mma, Riddle spoke to Dave Meltzer via MMAFighting.com and had the following to say about a pro wrestling run:
“I’m no longer 22, I don’t care about tough man contests. This has been my goal my entire life. I looked in the mirror four months ago. I was tired of cutting weight, getting sick, I got the [WWE] network for $9.99 and started...
