Victor Ambrus was born on August 19, 1935 in Budapest, Hungary. He is known for Jackanory (1965), Time Team Extras (1998) and Time Team (1994). He was married to Glenys R. Chapman. He died on February 10, 2021 in the UK.
Has won the Kate Greenaway Medal (1965 and 1975) and the World Wildlife Award.
