This upcoming Monday get ready to break out your dancing shoes, as cast members from the Original Toronto Production of Mamma Mia reunite for a one-night only benefit in support of Fife House. They are a not for profit organization that seeks to provide secure and affordable supportive housing and support services for persons living with Hivaids.The event will feature none other than Louise Pitre in the lead role of 'Donna', one in which she originated here in Toronto and then later took to the Great White Way. She will be joined by a group of her fellow cast mates to celebrate the music of Abba and the success of Mamma Mia, as well as to raise a toast to the great work that Fife House does in our community. Joining her will be Adam Brazier Sky, Gabrielle Jones Rosie, David Keeley Sam, Julie Martell Sophie, Tamara Bernier Tanya and Shawn Wright Bill.

Louise Pitre's latest accomplishment is the completion of her one-woman show 'On the Rocks- Stirred Not Shaken.' Her show is an autobiographical musical detailing her life thus far- both the ups and the downs. Pitre, with the help of W. Joseph Matheson, wrote original songs for the show. 'On the Rocks' will run from tonight, September 25-28 at Theatre Passe Murialle.

The Tony nominated star of Mamma Mia, Broadway's original Donna Sheriden, is back in New York for one show only. Dubbed 'the first lady of Canadian theatre,' Louise Pitre is fresh from her starring turn in Mame at the Goodspeed Opera House. Pitre presents La Vie en Rouge, an intimate revue of material from her favorite roles, including selections from Les Miserables and Mame. The show is set for January 7th at 54 Below.
