After not seeing each other for a period of 6 months, Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez met face to face for the first time. The footage of the two talking about their baby Bonnie Bella was recorded last year but will be seen on VH1 for the first time tonight. Joseline has concerns about why Stevie hasn’t been there for her during the pregnancy. The conversation escalates to the point where Joseline is in tears. Eventually Joseline served Stevie court papers to get his attention. As long as Stevie takes a paternity test, she’ll withdraw them. What’s odd is that

Earlier this month, Patrick Hardison came face-to-face with the woman who gave him a second chance at life.
Hardison, a volunteer firefighter, suffered severe burns that badly disfigured his face during a 2001 search and rescue mission through a blazing house fire. Last year, he underwent the first extensive face transplant after David Rodebaugh, a 26-year-old Brooklyn bike mechanic and BMX racer, died after sustaining brain trauma in a cycling accident. Rodebaugh’s mother, Nancy Millar, made the difficult decision to donate her son’s organs — including his face — and changed Hardison’s life forever.

This will do nothing to cool the so-called feud between Donald Trump and Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly. On Monday, the network announced that Kelly will be hosting a two-hour “voter summit” on Wednesday with the catchy title, “The Kelly File: Face to Face with Candidates.” Except for one little detail: It will be missing the party’s frontrunner, and winner of this weekend’s South Carolina primaries… The Donald himself. Kino Lorber brings the 1967 spaghetti Western Face to Face to Blu-ray this month, one of director Sergio Sollima’s most notable titles, previously released on DVD as a box-set with the two other titles in Sollima’s trilogy The Big Gundown (1966) and Run, Man, Run (1968). Noted for imbuing his work with a bit of actual social and historical context, there’s a bit more substance than usual for a film relegated to the periphery of a movement dominated by a mere handful of notable names. Though it’s ultimately not at the same level as iconic works by Sergio Leone and hasn’t reached the same level of reappraisal as several other retroactively recuperated directors, it features more nuanced characterizations in its complex narrative structure than is usually evident in other titles of the era.

Not as well-known stateside as other Spaghetti Western Sergios such as Leone and Corbucci, but the passing of director Sergio Sollima is notable to cult film fans. His The Big Gundown (1966) with Lee Van Cleef and Face To Face (1967) are considered classics of the sub-genre but in my book his masterpiece is the gritty 1970 crime thriller Violent City, a film that made it all the way to #3 on my list of ‘Top Ten Charles Bronson Movies’ (read the list Here)
In Violent City, produced in Italy with some New Orleans exteriors, Sollima, working from a script by future art-house helmer Lina Wertmüller, directed Charles Bronson just as he was exiting his career as a character actor and phasing into his role as a megastar. Violent City found Bronson a vengeance-minded hit-man after a former flame (Jill Ireland at her sexiest) and her mob boss boyfriend (Telly Savalas) who’d conspired to send him to prison.

Above: Bedrich Dlouhy’s 1970 poster for Rashomon (Akira Kurosawa, Japan, 1950).Flipping through the website of the incomparable Czech poster store Terry Posters the other day, I came across an artist whose name I hadn’t known before. I was aware of some of Bedřich Dlouhý’s posters: his split-screen design for Věra Chytilová’s Something Different was one of my favorites in Isabel Stevens’s recent piece on Chytilová’s posters in Sight & Sound, and I knew his designs for Rashomon, Red Desert, The Pink Panther and 8 1/2, but I had never put two and two together that they were by the same designer.Part of the reason I didn’t know more of his work is that most of the films Dlouhý worked on in the ten years that he was designing posters (from 1962 to 1971) were films from the Eastern Bloc that are little known here. Films from Hungary, Yugoslavia...

Face to Face: Gabriadze’s Topical Mutation of Technological Terror
How effectively chilling it is may be arguable. But there’s no denying that Levan Gabriadze’s English language debut Unfriended manages to be clever and somewhat topically meaningful in the age of cyberbullying on social media apps that have chained humans unwittingly to being constantly recorded, in some sense, at nearly every waking moment. Produced by Timur Bekmambetov, the film premiered as Cybernatural (too kitschy for the cool kids) at the 2014 Fantasia Film Festival, its fascination with and deliberate technological framing manage to meld found-footage aesthetics with the attention span of the real-time generation. Screenwriter Nelson Greave’s plot feels kind of similar to Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s creepy 2001 internet ghost film Pulse (which got a Us redo in 2006), but manages to keep an adept, impressive focus on all the action taking place from the perspective of one character’s home screen.

Canada has a wealth of cinematic talent, and always has. From our comedic genius to our often cerebral approach to filmmaking, this country has a lot to be proud of.
Of late, and especially this year, Canada has really dominated the movies landscape. Our homegrown actors (Sarah Gadon, for example) and directors (Xavier Dolan, "Mommy") have been everywhere, earning accolades around the world. Movies shot within our borders have won rave reviews and received praise from the highest-ranked critics and film festivals.
Perhaps most outstanding is our growth. No longer are we satisfied with melancholic snow landscapes (though sometimes those still appear); we've branched out, and we're trying new things. Here, in no particular order, are my favourite Canadian movies and moments of 2014.

If you thought that Robert Kirkman expanded the world of The Walking Dead with Alexandria and the Hilltop Colony, it looks like he was just warming up. Skybound will be releasing two issues of The Walking Dead in March and the cover art for #139 will make the 3-month wait excruciating. *Spoiler Warning*

We're just going to put it out there - we are loving Andy this series. He's getting everything right. He's being harsh when necessary, a bro when needed, and funny when we want him to be. It seems, though, that this opinion is not shared with everyone - say, Louise, who kind of liked Andy last week until Rosie made her see that he is the most evil man to have walked the planet.
We got all the fallout from that this week, along with plenty of other stuff - Tiff vs Sam, for example, which spilled into Lucy vs Binky and Binky vs Fran in the way only a Chelsea storyline can. And Alik ate snails. Hooray! Read on for the 23 best bits...

Following May screenings of their giallo-inspired feature Sororal at the Fantaspoa Film Festival in Porto Alegre, Brazil, the team at Nakatomi Pictures announce the release of the film's soundtrack, marking the milestone with the unveiling of the official poster artwork.
From the Press Release:
In aspiring to produce Australia’s first neo-giallo thriller, writer-director Sam Barrett was aware from the outset that the score would be critical to successfully creating the surreal parallel universe in Sororal.
He put the challenge in front of composer Christopher de Groot.
“A lot has been said about the beautiful imagery in hallmark giallo films, but there is no over-estimating the importance of music in the genre. The best giallo scores can take you away to a strange dream world that is beautiful, erotic, and frightening, a world which Chris has definitely sculpted for Sororal,” says Barrett. “True, we used a dizzying array of references as a starting point,...

Colin Farrell and Taylor Kitsch are both reportedly in talks to star in the second season of HBO’s Emmy-nominated series True Detective.
Colin Farrell, Taylor Kitsch In 'True Detective'
According to reports, HBO has offered Farrell and Kitsch deals to join True Detective as two of next season’s main stars. The actors are not thought to have accepted their respective deals yet, but are believed to be likely additions to the cast, according to The Wrap.
Earlier this week, HBO programming president Michael Lombardo joked that they’d be using puppets in place of actors for this season of True Detective at the Television Critics Assosciation press tour in Beverly Hills. Lombardo went on to reveal that the cast for the sophomore season will have names to rival that of Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson – though seeking out big names wasn’t HBO's biggest priority.

Our Batman week rolls on with a look back at some of the music video tie-ins from the Caped Crusader's past.
Christopher Nolan's recent Dark Knight trilogy may have brought some credibility back to Batman on the big screen, but there was nary a chart-topping single in sight. This wasn't the case with the Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher films, which spawned new music from the likes of Prince, U2 and Seal. We take a look at 6 of them below...
1. Prince - 'Batdance' (1989)
Prince recorded an entire album for Tim Burton's Batman as Warner Bros pulled out all the stops for its big budget relaunch of the character in the '80s. The LP spawned five singles in total, the lead being this Us number one 'Batdance'. It's a crazy, anarchic track that throws together rock, dance and funk... we imagine Jack Nicholson's Joker would approve.

When it comes to Robinson Canó, hell hath no fury like a New York Yankees fan scorned ... to a point. On Tuesday, Canó returns to Yankee Stadium for the first time since trading his pinstripes for a 10-year contract with the Seattle Mariners. In response, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon sought out Yankee fans' reactions to a cutout of their former second baseman. In the video, Canó's cardboard face is subjected to one of New York City's most popular exports: attitude. Boos rain down without mercy - until the target himself suddenly steps forward. To mark the Jewish holiday of Purim, the Israel Museum of Jerusalem recently opened an exhibition of spooky ritual masks dating back 9,000 years – the oldest artifacts of their kind ever displayed. Photo: Elie Posner/Israel Museum
“Face to Face: The Oldest Masks in the World” is comprised of twelve masks of various sizes – some large and heavy, others the size of a fist, and all carved from limestone. While little is known about their purpose, experts believe they could be relics of a prehistoric religious sect who worshiped their ancestors and wore the masks in ceremonial rites. Photo: Elie Posner/Israel Museum
According to the Times of Israel, the skull-like ceremonial masks were unearthed in the Judean Desert and Hills over a period of several decades, and the age of the masks suggests they were made by the first cultures in the region to shift from nomadic tribes to permanent settlements.

Gary Barlow used an autocue for his live 'X Factor' performance on Sunday night (15.12.13). The show judge took to the stage with Sir Elton John in the series finale for their 'Face to Face' duet, but they both required on-screen prompts to help them with the lyrics. The 42-year-old singer has since been branded a ''hypocrite'' on Twitter by fans after he slammed wannabe star Tamera Foster for forgetting her words twice during the live shows. Richard McGill said: ''Why is Gary Barlow using autocue? Can he not remember the words?'' Laura Mo added: ''So Tamera gets stick for forgetting her words...
