- Nick Norton-Smith is an established multi instrumentalist, composer, arranger and producer working primarily in television, documentaries and commercials both in the UK and internationally.
He has created music for long and short form film with diverse television commissions including factual, travel and entertainment.
Drawing experience from a highly successful performing career spanning 16 West End shows along with international tours in 22 countries including :Frank Sinatra, Shirley Bassey, Brian May, Cynthia Erivo, Sheridan Smith, The Brand New Heavies, Hackney Colliery Band, The Proclaimers and many more.
Winner "Best Musician" Edinburgh International Jazz Festival.
Nick is a voting member of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) The Ivors Academy of Music Creators and a member of the Music Creators Mentoring Programme. He also curates and performs with his band at the Groucho Club Soho jazz events and was a member of The Blue Ox Babes formed by Dexys Midnight Runner founder member and songwriter Kevin Archer, signed to Go! - Performing on tenor saxophone Nick Norton-Smith won "Best Musician" at Edinburgh International Jazz Festival. As a session musician he worked with many different artists including Frank Sinatra , The Proclaimers, Brian May and The Brand New Heavies. He continues to work in many diverse areas of the music industry both in London,UK and Internationally.
