The Big Bang Theory is a comfort comedy series for millions of viewers all over the world. The amazing ensemble cast includes Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, and many other brilliant actors, who brought to life so many funny and quirky characters.
The show has been on the air since 2007 and lasted for 12 seasons, wrapping it all up in 2019 when Jim Parsons made it clear that he had no desire to remain on the show. But from all the cast members, it's only him who we know that has been busy in a similar project. Yes, we are talking about Young Sheldon, of course.
But what’s about the rest of the cast? For example, what’s new in Kaley Cuoco’s life after she finished working on The Big Bang Theory? Well, the actress soon joined the DC Universe to voice the titular character of the animated Harley...

There’s some low-stakes pleasure to be had in the first half of the gory new film from the team behind Ready or Not and Scream but things fall apart disastrously
Last year’s handsome gothic horror The Last Voyage of the Demeter and bombastic Nic Cage comedy Renfield allowed Universal the opportunity to present known IP as something fresh, at least on the surface, stories involving Dracula but told in ways we hadn’t seen before. They represented a nifty marketing strategy for a back catalogue of classic monster movies but both worked better as loglines than finished films – Dracula on a boat, Dracula as a bad boss – and audiences proved as uninterested as critics, the stench of old property distracting from the promise of something new.

A star at nine, the actor was soon struggling with the death of her mother as well as nosy journalists and demanding fans. Angry, confused and thoroughly lost, how did she ever find her way back?
It never made sense to her, Mara Wilson writes in Good Girls Don’t, that the enduring image of a child actor is of a spoilt brat. “A bratty child is one who won’t do what they’re told; child actors only do what they’re told. Brats are selfish and greedy; child actors often support their families. A spoilt and misbehaving child will not get very far in the entertainment industry.” Wilson, the star of some of the biggest family films of the 90s, including Mrs Doubtfire, Miracle on 34th Street and Matilda, only wanted to please.

As if hanging with Godzilla, Kong and whatever other beasties show up in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, wasn't enough of a creature feature, Dan Stevens is headed for some Universal monster movie action. He's joining the cast of the untitled thriller being put together by the Scream team known as Radio Silence for the studio.
Radio Silence, in case you forget, includes directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett, plus producer Chad Villella among their number. This is something the trio has been wanting to make since their first stab at Scream, but the success of that movie led them to put it hold to focus on the sequel. Now, they're shifting back to the monster movie.
Scream's Melissa Barrera is on board to star, with Matilda The Musical's Alisha Weir also in the cast.

"My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" ran from 2010 to 2019, and famously spawned a group of passionate adult fans who dubbed themselves Bronies. During its nine-year run, the show and its spinoff movies remained popular mainstays of children's entertainment.
Based on a line of Hasbro toys from 1983, the original "My Little Pony" cartoon show was little more than a 30-minute toy commercial, one of many of the era. Despite this, the show became incredibly well-liked by a generation of kids, and the "My Little Pony" shows and toys have continued to be part of the pop consciousness ever since. The original toy line was designed by illustrator Bonnie Zacherle, who also designed the Nurfuls toys in 1985. Incidentally, Bonnie was the niece of legendary horror host John Zacherle.
When "Friendship is Magic" was released in 2010, the ponies themselves were drastically redesigned to have a friendlier, wider-eyed appearance, and the writing on the show just as drastically improved.

With the eight remaining couples facing new challenges as they performed on the huge, sprung stage and were joined by backing dancers for their routines – much to the frustration of the viewers – the scores were high too.
Fleur East convinced Craig Revel Horwood to finally get his 10 paddle out as she scored the first perfect 40 of the series with her Couple’s Choice routine.
She was closely followed by Helen Skelton and Hamza Yassin, while Ellie Taylor is at the bottom of the leaderboard.

Strictly Come Dancing viewers have called on the BBC to end the inclusion of backing dancers during Blackpool Week.
The dance competition series returned to the Blackpool Tower Ballroom on Saturday (19 November) night, having not been able to film in the city since 2019 due to the pandemic.
During usual Strictly weeks, the couples are the only ones on the dance floor during their competitive routines.
However, in order to fill the huge sprung ballroom floor at the Tower Ballroom, the pairs are joined by additional backing dancers who perform alongside them in their routines for Blackpool Week.
During the show, viewers on Twitter shared their frustration at the extra dancers, saying that they “cluttered up” the dance floor and distracted from the competing couple.
“The worst thing about #strictly Blackpool is the additional backing dancers. They’re unnecessary and really draw attention to the celeb’s faults, whereas their partner can cover/compensate,...

Fleur East and Vito Coppola received the first perfect score of Strictly Come Dancing 2022.
During Saturday (19 November) night’s show, the dance competition series returned to the historic Blackpool Tower Ballroom for the first time since 2019.
Singer East and Coppola performed second to last with a Couple’s Choice routine to a Destiny’s Child megamix, including the songs “Jumpin’, Jumpin’” and “Lose My Breath”.
After performing the fast-paced routine, judge Craig Revel Horwood – who was yet to get his 10 paddle out this series – told East: “One word, three syllables, beginning with F: fab-u-lous.”
Motsi Mabuse said that East was the missing member of Destiny’s Child, while Shirley Ballas said it was an “iconic routine that will go down in history”.
Anton Du Beke praised East’s control, saying that the dance was “as good as we’ve done, ever”.

Stephen Fry has said that he doesn’t want to condemn Jk Rowling for her views on transgender people, despite them making his friends being “deeply upset”.
Since criticising an article for using the term “people who menstruate” in 2020, Ms Rowling has repeatedly been accused of transphobia. She has denied the accusations.
However, many stars of the Harry Potter films, including Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, have spoken out in support of the trans community in the wake of her remarks.
Appearing on Roger Bolton’s Beeb Watch podcast on Friday, former Qi host Mr Fry was asked if he’d considered joining the “debate” about Rowling’s comments and the Harry Potter cast’s responses.
“I’m aware you’re talking about an issue where two sides are very sore and very anxious about their enemies,” he said. “I can’t bear it.”

BBC Breakfast host Charlie Stayt was left red in the face after showing footage of rugby player Kevin Sinfield urinating on a wall.
Former Leeds Rhinos player Sinfield is undertaking a gruelling challenge of completing seven ultramarathons in seven days to raise money for motor neurone disease charities.
The challenge will amount to 482 kilometres, with Sinfield having already raised more than £600,000.
During Saturday (19 November) morning’s BBC Breakfast, the team caught up with a live stream of Sinfield as he continued on the final day of the challenge, running from West Yorkshire to the Rugby League World Cup Final at Old Trafford.
“We have a camera on board a bike, it’s the first time we have done this, we have set him off every morning and we wave goodbye,” host Stayt said, as the screen changed to footage of the run labelled the “Kev Cam”.

Photo: 'Matilda the Musical' Matilda has been a very popular children’s book as well as one of Roald Dahl's most recognizable works. The story focuses on a scholarly-gifted young girl with telekinetic powers who is treated poorly by her ignorant parents and attends a school that is controlled by an abusive headmistress. However, she finds solitude in her class due to the caring nature of her kind teacher, Miss Honey. Roald Dahl is also famous for writing stories such as ‘James and The Giant Peach’ and ‘The Witches.’ All these books by the same author actually have one big thing in common: they all earned a movie adaptation of their own during the 1990s. ‘James and the Giant Peach’ was directed by Henry Selick (‘Nightmare Before Christmas’). ‘The Witches’ has been made by Nicolas Roeg (‘Don’t Look Now’). Danny DeVito directed the first adaptation of ‘Matilda’ in 1996 and...

Stephen Graham is showing off his newly bulging biceps. “He’s like Popeye,” says his wife, Hannah Walters, on her way to the fridge. “Just give him a can and he pops it and crushes it.” It’s breakfast time in the couple’s home in a former mining town in Leicestershire, and the This Is England star is being teased by the love of his life, as he chats to me from the kitchen counter.
He does have impressive (tattooed) muscles to show off, though, as a result of intensive training for the role of a hardened pugilist in the forthcoming A Thousand Blows, written by Steven “Peaky Blinders” Knight, which the couple are producing together. They chat and spar as we talk, with Graham paying tribute to Walters for getting Knight involved: “I thought, ‘No chance!’ It was all down to that wonderful woman who’s eating cereal there.
