Christopher Redmond is a Canadian writer, director and producer. His films have played at over 100 international festivals (including the Festival de Cannes). He grew up in St. Paul, AB, and Peace River, AB, before going to high school in North Battleford, SK. In 2006, he graduated from Carleton University's renowned School of Journalism with a combined honours degree in Film Studies. He lives in Ottawa, ON, producing television shows, documentary series', and feature films.
Taught the Master's of Journalism course on Documentary Production at Carleton University .
Selected by CBC as one of Canada's Top 50 Champions of Change for his not-for-profit work in East Africa (2010).
At age 17, took a summer course at the Vancouver Film School where he produced his first short film, Awake and Dreaming. The film was only entered in one festival, where it won the Panel's Choice award.
