GBH Kids, in collaboration with PBS Kids and Cultural Whisperers, today announced the Work It Out Wombats! Podcast. Launching on January 4, the podcast will give kids the opportunity to break the fourth wall and have a playdate with beloved characters Malik, Zadie, and Zeke from the popular PBS Kids series Work It Out Wombats!

Ruff Ruffman is coming home to PBS. The Ruff Ruffman Show will premiere on September 28, 2017, in an all-new short-form TV series on PBS Kids Digital Platforms. Watch a video with the new theme song, below (warning: may offend feline Americans). The character was first introduced in the Fetch! With Ruff Ruffman TV show, which ran for five seasons totaling 100 episodes on PBS, between May, 2006, and November, 2010. As he did on the original series, actor and writer Jim Conroy voices all of the characters on The Ruff Ruffman Show. The Young and the Restless tallied 23 nominations as honors were announced this morning for the 40th annual Daytime Emmy Awards. Restless’ impressive take helped CBS lead all networks with 50 overall nominations. PBS and ABC followed, with 44 and 38 nods, respectively.
General Hospital, which earned 19 nominations, joined Restless in the race for Outstanding Drama Series, and Sesame Street received 17 nods, including three for Kevin Clash, the voice of Elmo who faces allegations of sexual misconduct.
Good Morning America and Today will bring their ratings rivalry to the Emmys, where they’ll be joined by CBS Sunday Morning in the Outstanding Morning Program category.
