Salman Khan may be lending his voice for Sooraj Pancholi in Hero by singing the title song. However, John Abraham isn't far behind. For his Welcome Back, he has sung an entire song and that too for himself. Titled 'Time Lagaye Kaiko, Arrey Ban Ja Meri Baiko', it is a 'tapori' number on the lines of 'Aati Kya Khandala'. "John has never sung before and it was the film's director Anees Bazmee who insisted that he sings," informs our source, "This is an out and out tapori number and is a totally new thing for John, especially after films like Madras Cafe, Race 2 and Shootout at Wadala where he played a serious part. However, since he is playing a 'tapori' in Welcome Back, everyone felt that it would be good if he sings a number as well." The man roped in for the job was Nitin Raikwar. Since he...

Sonali Cable is writer-director Charudatt Acharya’s maiden voyage, being one of the 8 scripts selected for Mumbai Mantra-Sundance Institute Screenwriters Lab 2012. It stars Rhea Chakraborty (Meri Dad Ki Maruti), Ali Fazal (Bobby Jasoos) and Anupum Kher (A Wednesday) in pivotal roles. It also marks the debut of Dance India Dance finalist Raghav Juyal.
The soundtrack features compositions from various music directors including Raghav Sachar (‘Kabul Fiza’) and Mike McCleary (Nautanki Sala).
Sonali Cable is produced under the banner of Ramesh and Rohan Sippy and hits cinemas 10 October 2014.
Ek Mulaqat Ho kicks of the album, a well composed track by Amjad-Nadeem of the Ankit Tiwari and/or Jeet Ganguly disposition. Jubin Nautiyal’s superior vocals more than make up for Sameer’s simplistic lyrics. He has a beautiful classical quality yet blends in with the rock ballad like style of the track brilliantly. The unplugged version is equally good. Unfortunately, Altamash...

Film: "Bajatey Raho"; Music Directors: Jaidev Kumar; Singers: Anmol Malik, Sona Mohapatra, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Manjeet Ral, and Gajendra Varma; Rating: **
The music album of director Shashant Shah's forthcoming revenge-comedy "Bajatey Raho" is made up of six tracks. While certain tracks are attention-grabbing, others are monotonous.
The first track is "Nagin dance" sung by Anmol Malik. If the singer's voice infuses fun, carefree feeling, the music is interesting with pungi (beena) playing very efficiently. A good song to listen to, it could be termed as the highlight of the album.
Singer Sona Mohapatra tries to lift everyone's spirits with the next number titled "Khurafati ankhiya". Talking about naughty eyes, the.
