Pérez Celis was born on January 15, 1939 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was an actor, known for Tiro de gracia (1969), Fuerza América (1962) and Maru a la tarde (2001). He was married to Sara Fernandez, Iris Laconich and Tamara Toma. He died on August 2, 2008 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
After his death, a wake was held at the club of his favorite soccer (football) team, the Boca Juniors. Two of his murals decorate the team's home stadium, La Bombonera ("candy box") in Buenos Aires.
