"In most families, the danger doesn't come from some stranger – danger comes from someone you already know..." Shudder has unveiled the trailer for a horror anthology film titled Horror Noire, a showcase of six different stories of Black horror. "Six stories, one film. Experience the next chapter of Black horror." This is a spin-off feature inspired by the outstanding documentary with the same title: Horror Noire: A History of Black Horror (which I highly recommend watching). The six stories featured in the anthology are titled: Daddy, Bride Before You, Brand of Evil, The Lake, Sundown, and Fugue State. The casts include Lesley-Ann Brandt, Luke James, Erica Ash, Brandon Mychal Smith, Sean Patrick Thomas, Peter Stormare, Malcolm Barrett, and Rachel True, among many others. With new and adapted stories by Tananarive Due, Steven Barnes, Victor Lavalle, Shernold Edwards, Al Letson and Ezra C. Daniels. I'm always down for more creative horror!

Warner Bros. TV has severed ties with All Rise creator Greg Spottiswood following an investigation into allegations of unprofessional conduct.
According to our sister site Deadline, Spottiswood continued to create a hostile working environment in the series’ virtual writers room during Season 2 of the CBS legal drama, following a mass exodus of writers of color during Season 1. All Rise: 5 Writers Quit After Clashing With Showrunner Over Legal Drama's Depiction of Race, Gender
With All Rise Season 2 confirmed, there will be some big changes behind the scenes of the series.
According to The New York Times, five of the original writers of the CBS legal drama will not be returning for the second season.
Of the exits, three are the highest-ranking writers of color.
Seven writers worked in the writers' room on All Rise Season 1, meaning a virtually new writers room will be set up for the second season.
As for what led to the mass exodus, all five writers are said to have clashed with showrunner Greg Spottiswood over the way the series portrays race and gender.
One of the departing writers, Shernold Edwards, stepped away from the show in November after realizing “we had to do so much behind the scenes to keep these scripts from being racist and offensive.”
An episode written by Greg Nelson, who is white, is used as an example.

As Haven fans saw in last week’s episode “Crush,” Duke (Eric Balfour) and Jennifer’s (Emma Lahana) relationship took a decidedly romantic turn. For the girl who kept hearing voices in her head, which helped in rescuing Audrey (Emily Rose), Jennifer has become an integral part of their everyday Haven lives. She even joined the Haven Herald as a cub reporter and has called Duke’s boat home. After all they had gone through, including the near murderous attack by Duke’s brother Wade (Christian Camargo), it was hardly a wonder that some feelings had been triggered. For Audrey/Duke fans, one of the standout episodes of Season 3 was “Magic Hour, part 1″ written by Shernold Edwards (Pictured above, left). Check back on Friday, November 9th for part 2 of Shernold’s interview as she talks about Episode 409, another of her carefully crafted episodes which will reveal a lot about our heroes’ journeys this season.
Haven returns for its 4th season on Friday, September 13th at 10:00 p.m. on Syfy. Perhaps...
