The Zombie genre keeps on truckin' and today we have some casting news about the upcoming undead film Zombie Plantation, as well as the first concept poster. You can check out the poster and official details below.
Huze Media Group is pleased to announce Jake McLaughlin, star of NBC’s “Frontier” pilot, has joined the cast of Zombie Plantation. McLaughlin (Savages, In the Valley of Elah and Crash) will star as Mike Stone the sheriff of Stone Compound. Mike becomes the default leader of a group of survivors at the age of nine following his father's death. He has earned their respect and gratitude over the past twenty years by fighting off the hordes of undead. Together with his wife, Summer, he has carved out a life for their son and every other resident of Stone Compound under trying circumstances.

Around these parts on Killer Film, I am the die-hard Christopher Nolan Batman fan, although our news writer Matt Keith is pretty close. I’m also pretty stoked for Warrior. But in all my fandom, I don’t know if I could do this. Some fan (via BadAssDigest) has tattooed the character of Bane from The Dark Knight Rises on his arm.
I recall that scene in Fanboys, where Seth Rogen plays a Star Wars loving hick who preemptively tattooed Jar Jar Binks on his back. Lol! I doubt if Tom Hardy’s as Bane will suck that bad.
Also, if our boss Donny Broussard can tattoo the Killer Film logo on him, then maybe I should fan up?...

We’re already half way through 2011. Can you believe that? As cliche as it sounds, time has flown, especially when your butt is glued to the theater seat, as are the staff of Killer Film.
