Pretty Little Liars will return to stalk a new group of teenagers with its upcoming reboot.
HBO Max has added Chandler Kinney and Maia Reficco to the cast of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin.
Kinney will play Tabby, an aspiring director and horror movie buff.
Like the other Little Liars, Tabby’s hiding a secret.
Maia Reficco will play Noa, a striving, sardonic track star who's working hard to get her life back to normal after a summer spent in juvenile detention.
It's hard to believe Pretty Little Liars is being rebooted, but maybe the move to streaming will give the franchise a bigger scope.
"Twenty years ago, a series of tragic events almost ripped the blue-collar town of Millwood apart. Now, in the present day, a group of disparate teen girls — a brand-new set of Little Liars — find themselves tormented by an unknown Assailant and made to pay...

"Ravenswood" is no more. ABC Family has decided not to renew the series for a second season, according to Deadline. The series, which stars Tyler Blackburn, Nicole Gale Anderson, Steven Cabral, Brett Dier, Britne Oldford and Merritt Patterson, was a spin-offf of "Pretty Little Liars." "Ravenswood" centers on five strangers in small town Pennsylvania who are brought together by an evil curse. They must then work together to get to the bottom of the mysterious hex on the titular town. The series initially got a straight-to-series order from the cable network regime and debuted last October to the tune of 2.1 million viewers. However, it...

Sometimes spin-offs work and sometimes they don't. Will Ravenswood bring in big ratings like Pretty Little Liars, be a moderate success or be cancelled after one season? Stay tuned to find out!
Ravenswood follows a group of five young strangers who find their lives intertwined thanks to a deadly curse in a small Pennsylvania town. The cast includes Tyler Blackburn, Nicole Anderson, Britne Oldford, Brett Dier, Merritt Patterson, and Steven Cabral.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show's chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available -- usually on Wednesdays.
2/14 update: ABC Family has cancelled Ravenswood after 10 episodes.
Final season averages: 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.29 million total viewers.

ABC Family has cancelled Ravenswood after one short season of 10 episodes. Though Pretty Little Liars is the cable channel's biggest scripted series, the spin-off just never caught on.
Debuting in late October, Ravenswood's first episode drew a healthy 2.12 million viewers. However, many viewers must not have liked what they saw because only half as many tuned in for the second episode.
The cable channel tried to give the series a fighting chance by putting it on hiatus over the holidays and then by pairing it with Liars. That gave the show an initial boost but viewers fled once again the...

Sorry, guys, but one season of Ravenswood is all you get. A source confirms to E! News that the Pretty Little Liars spinoff was canceled by ABC Family, and therefore will not be returning for a second season. E! News has reached out to a rep for the network for comment. The supernatural teen drama television series centered on a town not far from Rosewood, Penn., which had been suffering after being hit with a deadly curse for generations. However, the fatal curse connects five strangers who need to dig into the town's mysterious and terrible history before it's too late for all of them. I’ve learned that ABC Family has opted not to renew the Pretty Little Liars spinoff series Ravenswood for a second season. The project received a straight-to-series order from the previous ABC Family regime and had a solid launch behind the Pretty little Liars’ Halloween special in October with 2.1 million viewers. But, with no Pll lead-in, the series lost momentum, dropping to a 1.1 million for its fall finale. By the time it was paired again with Pll in January, Ravenswood couldn’t regain its ratings footing, opening its January mini-season with 1.7 million viewers, half of the 3.2 million viewers for its lead-in, Pll. Set in the fictional town of Ravenswood, Pennsylvania, Ravenswood followed five strangers whose lives become intertwined by a deadly curse. Nicole Gale Anderson, Tyler Blackburn, Steven Cabral, Brett Dier, Britne Oldford and Merritt Patterson starred. This marks the first cancellation decision for ABC Family under new president Tom Ascheim,...

The ‘Ravenswood’ winter premiere offered up answers about the mysterious curse — and, of course, a million more questions.
Following his three-day stint in Rosewood, Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) returned “home” on the Jan. 7 winter premiere of Ravenswood, only to discover that life in the titular town is even more twisted than when he left.
Sleepwalk This Way
Upon realizing her nightmares were actually allowing her a glimpse into the past — I’m sorry, do your nightmares not do that? – Remy (Britne Oldford) went on a semi-conscious jaunt through the town, followed closely by Caleb and Luke (Brett Dier), who I think found themselves in combat with a scarecrow. Like, an actual scarecrow.

Check out these sneak peek clips of the return of "Ravenswood" for the back-half of Season 1, titled "Revival."
In the above clip, Olivia (Merritt Patterson) tells her brother Luke (Brett Dier) that it's really creeping her out that Raymond Collins (Steven Cabral) was digging up Miranda's grave -- and then speak of the devil. Good ol' Uncle Raymond is in their house, delivering flowers to their mother. Hmm. Were Raymond and Mrs. Matheson involved romantically back in the day? We say yes.
Below, Luke and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) have some bro-mance time -- with Toby back in Rosewood, Caleb's got to find a new Bff, after all. He spills to Luke that he and Miranda touched when he crossed over, but he insists that they didn't kiss, so it didn't mean anything.
To which Luke responds, "Dude, if you had to point out that you didn't kiss, it meant something.

Hey, it wouldn’t be a ‘Pretty Little Liars’ spin-off without a few dead bodies, right?
“The Five” has already faced its fair share of enemies — dead, alive and everything in-between — but when Ravenswood returns with new episodes Jan. 7, Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) and his friends will find themselves up against a new threat: the boys in blue!
‘Ravenswood’: Luke Arrested On Winter Premiere
In this first-look photo, obtained exclusively by HollywoodLife.com, Luke (Brett Dier) is being hauled off in a Ravenswood police car — and something tells me they’re not taking him downtown just to give him a medal. What kind of trouble could Luke be getting himself into?
Perhaps the episode’s official log line can offer a clue:
‘Home is Where the Heart Is (Seriously – Check the Floorboards)’ – The Ravenswood police make a surprising discovery at the Matheson home, and Olivia and Luke are unnerved by Collins’ connection to their mother.

Plus, Caleb and Miranda’s romantic history is revealed — and it’s full of giant hats!
There’s a fine line between heaven and hell — and apparently, that line is called Ravenswood. The midseason finale of ABC Family’s pretty little ghost story found Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) and the rest of his makeshift Scooby gang trying to save Miranda (Nicole Anderson) from a new enemy, unaware they were going up against someone they already know!
It turns out Olivia’s (Merritt Patterson) boyfriend Dillon (Luke Benward) isn’t the nice guy everyone thinks he is. In fact, he’s in cahoots with a creepy little girl who tried to trap “The Five” in a twisted, hellish dream world this week. They barely escaped alive — excluding Caleb, who did literally die for a brief period of time — and are more terrified than ever.

Plus, Miranda reunites with a (literal) ghost from her past.
Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) had a close encounter of the super-old kind when he connected with one of “Caleb River’s” relatives on the Nov. 12 episode of Ravenswood; and I put Caleb’s name in quotes because, honestly, history was never my best subject and I’m not sure how many Calebs there have been. Meanwhile, Miranda (Nicole Anderson) also reached out and touched a family member — only hers, somehow, had even less of a pulse!
Miranda made contact with her late mother at the end of the episode, exiting into a doorway of bright light. It was very emotional and very weird and I can’t wait to see where they disappeared to. Of course, that mother-daughter reunion came after she admitted to having feelings for Caleb! I felt bad when Olivia (Merritt Patterson) set her straight — “You’re not...

Ravenswood recap: Episode 3 – “Believe” By Aleina McGettrick In the opening scene of ABC Family’s Ravenswood Episode 3, “Believe,” we see Miranda’s uncle, Mr. Collins (Steven Cabral) and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) preparing for her funeral. It is being held at the graveyard that Mr. Collins lives on. The whole group is there for the funeral, including the ghost of Miranda, who is apprehensive at the sight of her body being lowered into the ground. During the service, Olivia (Merritt Patterson) glances over at her father’s grave, where the words “Black Widow” are still written in red, and as she looks […]

Plus, the gang receives a terrifying message from beyond the grave! This show is scary and nuts and I love it.
Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) and Co. attended their first funeral on the Nov. 5 episode of Ravenswood – and considering the direction this show is headed, I’m positive it won’t be their last. With Miranda’s (Nicole Anderson) ghost standing by their side, the surviving members of “The Five” said goodbye to their fallen friend, not knowing they’d all be seeing her again. Real soon.
While Remy (Britne Oldford) hit the books to research the curse further, Caleb spend some quality time with his dead Bff, helping her discover her new ghostly abilities. He also took her place at Chez Collins, working out a deal with Raymond (Steven Cabral) to get a room in exchange for doing some chores around the house.
Honestly, this deal might work out really...

Last Tuesday, ABC Family unveiled their long-awaited spin-off of Pretty Little Liars -- Ravenswood. Liars is the cable channel's highest-rated drama. Will Ravenswood also be a hit or could it be cancelled after one season instead?
A mystery/thriller series, Ravenswood revolves around a group of five young people in a small town in Pennsylvania. They become connected thanks to a deadly and mysterious curse. The cast includes Tyler Blackburn, Nicole Anderson, Britne Oldford, Brett Dier, Merritt Patterson, and Steven Cabral.
The show premiered to 2.12 million viewers and a 0.90 rating in the 18-49 demographic. Though this wasn't as strong as the special episode of Liars that preceded it (3.18 million and a 1.4 demo rating), it was still very good.

Were you shocked by this week’s major twist? I can’t believe this is only the second episode!
If the first episode of Ravenswood was merely weird, episode two was out of this world — literally. For starters, one of “the five” didn’t survive last week’s Civil Wars-fueled car crash, and stranger still, no one really seemed that bothered by said person’s death.
Miranda: Dead Or Alive?
Ok, enough of the vagueness. Miranda (Nicole Anderson) was the victim of last week’s skid-and-sink, but I guess that’s only fair since she‘s the one who grabbed the wheel from Remy (Britne Oldford) to avoid the ghost lady she saw standing in the middle of the road.
(And who’s the ghost now, Miranda?! That’s right, you are.)
I’m not sure about the logistics of what happened next, but after reading a letter...

You may already know that I’m a fan of ABC Family generally, and Pretty Little Liars theoretically, and Ravenswood looks to continue with the background perspective that has resulted in this view. Pretty Little Liars has managed a popularity that is nothing short of amazing, despite being a show that might seem to have a built-in maximum longevity, and the show is now spinning-off to the not-absolutely-similar Ravenswood.
We follow Caleb Rivers (Tyler BlackBurn), Hanna’s boyfriend (or whatever), to the town of Ravenswood, because some curious things happen that seem to connect to him and/or his family. We enter the show straight off the back of the Pretty Little Liars Halloween Special, and before you know what’s happened, Caleb and Miranda Collins (Nicole Gale Anderson) have stumbled upon their own graves, complete with pictures, and they’d like to know what’s going on there.

Even though trick-or-treating won't happen until next week, ABC Family is getting its ghoul on early on Tuesday, Oct. 22, with a Halloween-themed episode of its teen mystery drama "Pretty Little Liars" and the premiere of its spinoff series, "Ravenswood."
Loosely based on Sara Shepard's popular series of novels, "Pretty Little Liars" stars Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Lucy Hale, Janel Parrish and Shay Mitchell as Spencer, Hanna, Aria, Mona and Emily, respectively, high-school pals in Rosewood, Pa., probing the disappearance and supposed death of school "Queen Bee" Alison (Sasha Pieterse) after receiving messages from the mysterious "A" (later revealed to maybe be teacher Ezra Fitz, played by Ian Harding), who threatens to expose their secrets.
Earlier in the current Season 4, the nearby college town of Ravenswood was introduced as a place where strange things happen.

If you are familiar with the ABC Family series Pretty Little Liars, don’t worry, your secret is safe with us. It’s actually one of the best written, best acted, best produced of the teen soap series of recent years, and in fact plenty of discerning viewers call it one of their guilty pleasures, plus it has a nice mystery twist, though it isn’t one of Our Kind of Shows.
ABC Family has announced a spinoff to that series, entitled Ravenswood, that looks like it Will be one of Our Kind of Shows. Note the use of the term “supernatural” in the press release below. If you’ve never watched Pretty Little Liars, it looks like you’ll be fine, though if you’re interested, you can watch the marathon that precedes the premiere of Ravenswood in October.
First, a trailer that almost turned me away from the show.

For quite some time now, we’ve known about who the five characters who would be anchoring Ravenswood would be, but what about the supporting characters, the ones waiting on the sidelines to be tagged in when they’re needed the most? Recurring characters are what help build the world of a television show and when your particular show is dealing with a curse that affects an entire town, you need to introduce more than just a few constant faces. Aussie soap opera star Steven Cabral will help expand the cast list in a, hopefully, effective way. By the sounds of it, we’ll be seeing plenty of him in the new series.
According to Et, Cabral will be playing Raymond Collins, the handsome but guarded member of Miranda Collins’ (Nicole Anderson) clan. Those are all the details given about the character, but considering he’s clearly related to Miranda,...

Et Online has revealed another cast member of ABC Family's "Pretty Little Liars" spinoff "Ravenswood," which premieres in October as part of the annual Pll Halloween special.
Australian actor Steven Cabral has been cast as Raymond Collins, a "handsome but guarded member of Miranda Collins' clan."
The use of the word "clan" has us highly intrigued. It probably doesn't mean witches, since that would be "coven," but maybe werewolves? We do know that "Ravenswood" is going to be supernatural and based on the preview we got during last week's "Liars," it would not surprise us at all.
Miranda, incidentally, is "a feisty foster kid," so we wonder just how Raymond and Miranda are related, since they have the same last name.
Any thoughts, "Ravenswood" fans?...
