Liz Renner
- Writer
- Producer
Liz Renner is an American screenwriter and producer based in Los Angeles, California.
Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Renner is proud of her Midwestern roots which supplied her with the foundation to become a nomadic and curious adult - working everywhere from a horse ranch in Steamboat Springs, Colorado to a junior high in Tata, Hungary.
With a lifelong interest in history and film, she intended to get a PhD in Public History from New York University. While there, she interned for a documentary production company and discovered a passion for editing and storytelling. She went on to work as a producer, editor, and researcher for several historical documentaries featuring topics such as anarchism, the death penalty, and public education in America.
Renner moved to Los Angeles in 2017 to pursue a career in screenwriting. In 2019, she joined with director Danielle Karagannis and producer Maher Jafari to produce her short screenplay, Damned If You Do.
