[on composing for the Drive-By Truckers] Every now and then we might toss something at each other in the studio, but the songs pretty much come in written as we want them. There are always one or two that will come to be, over the course of doing the recording. For me it's great because I don't write that many new songs. I can come in with what I've got and don't feel the pressure to come up with an album's worth of stuff.
