It's time to embrace the rainbow. Neutral-fanatics, there's no need to fear color anymore. Jo Baker, celeb makeup artist to stars like Bella Hadid, Salma Hayek and Jenna Dewan Tatum, shared how even the most darkest of wardrobe can dabble with vibrant hues. "People should be embracing color and having fun with it, because that's what it's there for," said the pro. "I'm obsessed with doing a soft, colorful haze at the moment. There’s nothing I like better than getting hold of a movie that I’ve been searching over three decades for and adding it to my collection. At my age, there aren’t many vintage films left that I don’t own in one format or another, so when I heard that the 1976 cult classic Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw was getting a Blu-ray release, I was quite enthused. This movie has somehow always managed to elude me. It never seemed to play on any of my cable stations in the early 80s, we never had a copy of it at the video store I worked at in the mid-80s and I was still never able to find a copy of it anywhere throughout the 90s. To be honest, by the time the 21st century hit, I completely forgotten about this movie, so I was pretty...

London, Feb 9: A new novel 'Longbourn,' that retells the story of Jane Austen's 'Pride and Prejudice' from the point of view of its servants has been sold around the world.
The novel by Jo Baker was snapped up by Us and UK publishers last week.
Baker said that Austen was his first experience of grown-up literature.
She said that as she read it again and again, she began to become aware that if she had been living at the time, she would not have got to go to the ball and would have been stuck at home with the sewing.
The 39-year-old British author said that she drew inspiration from her family's years in service.

British author Jo Baker has penned a Pride And Prejudice redux which, according to Deadline, Random House Studio and Focus Features scrambled to nab up the U.S. publication and movie adaptation rights for already. For those unfamiliar with Jane Austen's classic young adult fiction novel, it tells the story of a young woman named Elizabeth Bennet who falls in love with the wealthy and handsome Mr. Darcy under brittle circumstances. Baker's take on the story, called Longbourn based on the setting of P and P, tells the same story but from the perspective of the Bennet estate servants instead. “Jane Austen was my first experience of grown-up literature, but as I read and re-read her books, I began to become aware that if I’d been living at the time, I wouldn't have got to go to the ball; I would have been stuck at home with the sewing,...

Naya's neutral lips and glowing skin are just six steps away! Follow along with her makeup artist's how-to. Celebrity makeup artist Jo Baker created this stunning look for Naya Rivera to wear to the GLAAD awards on March 24. As a Proactiv spokeswoman, Naya's skin was prepped with Proactiv products and then Jo used a mixture of various beauty goodies to create the makeup look. To prep skin, apply Proactiv Refining Mask for 15 minutes. Post-mask, skin is smoother, more radiant and ready for makeup. For long-lasting moisture, apply Proactiv Green Tea Moisturizer, which also has a brightening effect. Apply another layer directly before makeup application; it serves as a primer because it is rich, but lightweight, and creates a soft, supple surface. Use DiorSkin Nude Foundation all over the face for lightweight coverage. Softly swipe the cheeks with Kevin Aucoins Celestial Bronzing Veil in Tropical Nights for a subtle warmth and glow.
