On Thursday afternoon, members of the Kennedy endorsed President Joe Biden at a campaign rally in Philadelphia.
Biden’s rally in Philadelphia is the last major stop in a three-day swing through Pennsylvania.
During this trip, he laid out his economic and tax agenda and attacked former President Donald Trump as an enemy of working people.
Kennedy family members approached the Biden team and requested a joint event for the endorsements.
Joseph Kennedy, Kerry Kennedy, Rory Kennedy, Kathleen Kennedy, Maxwell Kennedy and Christopher Kennedy backed Biden during this rally.
The event is a further rejection of their family member and independent presidential candidate, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
The president’s campaign released a list of 15 Kennedys scheduled to appear at this rally but also mentioned that other family members would endorse him.
Joe Kennedy III, a former Democratic congressman from Massachusetts, introduced Biden at a second event.

Jim Sheridan has dispelled rumors around a possible return to acting by Daniel Day-Lewis, who gave an Oscar-winning performance in the Irish director’s drama My Left Foot and also starred in his subsequent films In The Name Of The Father and The Boxer.
Rumors have been rife that Day-Lewis, who retired from acting in 2017, might be contemplating a return to the big screen after he was photographed by paparazzi coming out of a New York restaurant with Sheridan and Steven Spielberg in early January.
Sheridan said the trio had been holding a meeting about a possible reboot of his long-gestating project about the Kennedy family, focused on its social climber-patriarch Joseph Kennedy.
“We were talking about a project. Daniel was only going to be involved, if he did get involved, as an executive producer, not as an actor,” said Sheridan.

Curb Your Enthusiasm star Cheryl Hines has been married to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. since 2014. She’s on her second marriage, while Kennedy is already on his third.
Recently, the couple did a photo shoot for The Hollywood Reporter alongside Conor Kennedy and Kyra Kennedy, who are Kennedy’s children from his second marriage to Mary Richardson Kennedy. They had two other sons, Finn Kennedy and Aiden Kennedy, who died by suicide in 2012.
The blended family also included Hines’ daughter, Catherine Young.
Hines and Kennedy first met in 2004 at a celebrity ski fundraiser for Waterkeeper Alliance, which Kennedy funded. Before their divorces, the two families traveled and skied together.
In one instance, Hines and her ex, Curb star and creator Larry David, attended an event with no intention of skiing, but Kennedy urged them to join.

Joe Biden taped an interview with Conan O’Brien’s Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend podcast on Friday, the president’s latest embrace of non-traditional media, and the former late night host paid a visit to the White House briefing room.
“They won’t let me take questions, but boy I have the answers to everything,” O’Brien told reporters as he stood near the briefing room lectern.
He later said that he was a “huge history buff and nerd,” including on the history of the White House, and chatted with reporters about the briefing room itself, noting that it used to be the location of an indoor pool. During John F. Kennedy’s administration, O’Brien noted, his father Joseph Kennedy had a Venetian mural installed on the walls. He said that the mural is now in the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library in Boston.

Twenty minutes after ending his State of the Union address Tuesday, President Joe Biden was still shaking hands in the double doorway of the House chamber, even though many members having already left, much of the room was already cleared and Speaker Kevin McCarthy had already called it a night.

The veneer of bipartisan civility didn’t last long tonight at Joe Biden’s second State of the Union address – – and that was all right with the president and Democrats.
Less than an hour into Biden’s speech before members of the House of Representatives and the Senate, it all turned into a screaming match after Potus accused some Republicans of wanting “Medicare and Social Security to sunset.” To a cascade of boos, and as the government faces a potential debt default, the Democrat added: ”I’m not saying it’s a majority. Anybody who doubts it, contact my office — I’ll give you a copy of the proposal.”

District Attorney Carol Iski has announced the filing of charges against Joseph Kennedy in a press conference. Kennedy has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder for the October deaths of four Oklahoma bicyclists.
On October 14, “four dismembered human bodies were discovered in the Deep Fork River,” District Attorney Iski said.
In Memoriam 2022: 100 Great Celebrities Who Died This Year!
District Attorney Iski said that four men in Okmulgee County left their residence on October 9, 2022, by bike to travel to a nearby scrap yard owned by Kennedy. Authorities used location data from one of the victim’s phones to narrow their search. The phone’s last known location was another scrap yard owned by Kennedy.
An autopsy determined that all of the victims suffered gunshot wounds and “had been transected at the waist.” One victim had both arms removed.
After the bodies were discovered, officers searched one of Kennedy’s scrap yards.

The political climate on Coruscant is growing even more antagonistic towards Galactic Senator Mon Mothma (Genevieve O'Reilly) in "Nobody's Listening!," the ninth episode of "Andor." The hostility she faces on the floor of the Senate is growing more extreme as more and more of her colleagues get behind the new draconian laws of Emperor Palpatine. The fierce transition that the "Star Wars" galaxy is experiencing during this time frame (roughly five years before the battle of Yavin) mirrors our own government's slide towards authoritarianism and our own Senate's inability to come together on the issues.
There has been a small minority of fans who don't think "Andor" feels like "Star Wars" all the time, but at its core, the political themes are exactly in line with what George Lucas was originally exploring in a galaxy far, far away.
Lucas originally saw his coming-of-age classic "American Graffiti" as a tale of pre-war innocence.

"Boardwalk Empire" is something of an outlier in the so-called "Golden Age of Television." The show premiered on September 19, 2010 and received robust critical praise. Despite the reviews, "Boardwalk Empire" did not find the audience enjoyed by its contemporaries and it has not yet matched the reputation of its predecessors. One way or another, the story of Enoch "Nucky" Thompson has been outflanked by "Breaking Bad," "Game of Thrones," "The Sopranos," and "The Wire." Consequently, eight years after its expedited fifth and final season, it's time for something of a retrospective.Set during the 13 years of Prohibition, "Boardwalk Empire" spins fact and fiction into an exquisite tapestry of family, greed, lust, and brutal gangster politics. Nucky Thompson's grip on Atlantic City may be the show's center of gravity, but it also captures the zeitgeist of American organized crime in the early 20th century. The real-life figures are too numerous to quantify here,...

The hosts of “The View” are quickly losing confidence that the separation of church and state will be upheld in the United States, given the most recent decisions handed down by the Supreme Court. On Tuesday, Joy Behar even went so far as to say the court is hoping to instate a theocracy.
The assertion came during the discussion of a new Supreme Court decision this week. On Monday, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Joseph Kennedy, a Washington state high school football coach, deciding that he had a right to pray on the field after games, with Justice Neil Gorsuch writing for the 6-3 majority that “both the Free Exercise and Free Speech Clauses of the First Amendment protect expressions like Mr. Kennedy’s.”
Kennedy was originally disciplined by the Bremerton School District, who argued that they were trying to avoid the public school appearing to promote any one religious point of view.

‘Love, Death & Robots’ Animator Robert Valley to Direct Feature Biopic on Broadway Legend Billy Rose
Seasoned film and television animator Robert Valley is tackling a new project about the life of Billy Rose — a songwriter, Broadway producer and unwitting activist.
“American Rose” will tell the roving true story of Rose, once married to comedian and multi-hyphenate Fanny Brice and producer of “Carmen Jones,” the first musical on Broadway to feature a cast of all-Black performers.
“Valley, who directed ‘Pear Cider & Cigarettes’ and, most recently, two episodes of ‘Love Death & Robots,’ is bringing his immense talent and unique artistic vision to this bespoke project and our team is thrilled beyond belief to work with him,” said producer Steven Finkelstein of American Rose Productions, who has spent four years putting the production together.

Bruce Dern is celebrating 60 years as an actor, having made his Broadway debut in the 1958 “Shadow of a Gunman” while studying with Lee Strasberg and Elia Kazan. This year, his film work includes playing two real-life characters: Joseph Kennedy in “Chappaquiddick” and Roman Wershe in Studio 8’s “White Boy Rick.” The latter film, about a 14-year-old who was arrested in 1980s Detroit, opens Sept. 14.
What drew you to “White Boy Rick”?
It’s real. I play the grandfather of the young boy, Rick Wershe Jr. He had to take a package across town and police busted him. He was just released this year after 29 years. He was 14 [when he was imprisoned], so to lighten his sentence, they made him an informer. Wershe was in the wrong place at the wrong time. The movie shows that “It ain’t fair.” My whole life is about trying to be fair. My aunt married Herbert F.

When casting someone as iconic and all-American as Ted Kennedy, one might not immediately think of Jason Clarke, the Australian actor best-known for films like “Zero Dark Thirty” and “Mudbound.” Yet in “Chappaquiddick,” which chronicles the infamous accident and aftermath that nearly took down Kennedy’s rising star, Clarke perfectly channels the complicated politician during a turning point in his life and career.
And if you’re the kind of person who puts any stock in coincidence, consider the following: Clarke was born the day before the July 18, 1969, incident in which Kennedy drove off his car off a bridge and his 28-year-old passenger Mary Jo Kopechne drowned. He even happened to cross paths once with the late Kennedy; the two attended a boating event when he was a relatively unknown actor on the Showtime series “Brotherhood.”

Most of the time, when I look at a star, it tends to be a newfound A-lister or a young Hollywood hotshot. This time around, I want to turn my attention instead to a legend. For this article, it’s going to be one of the most unique actors that the industry has ever seen. His name? Bruce Dern. Much like in 2015 when Quentin Tarantino gave him a plum supporting role in The Hateful Eight, 2018 features Dern in a juicy part. This time around, he’s playing Joseph Kennedy, a presence in the life of the Kennedy clan, especially the male family members, that truly was larger than life. The movie in question is Chappaquiddick, which debuted to solid reviews on the film festival circuit last year, before holding back to debut next month. For those curious what this one is specifically about, it’s an historical drama about the Chappaquiddick incident,...

Lucille (Ophelia Lovibond) and Joe (Joseph Kennedy) have emigrated to the titular Gozo after Joe's ex-girlfriend - having discovered the new relationship - kills herself, but they soon realise that things aren't going to be that easy.
The couple, more in love than ever on the journey to their new home, find that their guilt and trauma from their part in the event isn't something so easily pushed aside,...

Alexandre Courtes' The Incident was a divisive one when it premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival but audiences in France - where the English language film was produced - will have a chance to see what the chatter was about soon with the upcoming theatrical release. Here's how Tiff described it:It's a thin line that separates a domesticated man from his repressed animalistic side. On a dark and rainy night, three friends are forced to cross that divide as they navigate a labyrinth of madness and brutality in The Incident. George (Rupert Evans), Max (Kenny Doughty) and Ricky (Joseph Kennedy) play in a band together, struggling to record their first album and performing small gigs between shifts cooking for the inmates of the...

Title: Asylum Blackout Director: Alexandre Courtes Starring: Rupert Evans, Kenny Doughly, Joseph Kennedy, Dave Legeno Part thriller of containment, part horror movie, “Asylum Blackout” is a skillfully cobbled together little calling card of a film, suffused with woozy dread. If in the end it’s a bit short on convincing payoff, its atmospheric spell should generally satisfy genre fans and also augur good things for all those involved. Formerly known as “The Incident,” but re-titled in more forthright fashion, director Alexandrer Courtes’ movie centers on a group of friends and aspirant musicians who, between small gigs, work as kitchen cooks in a high security mental asylum in Washington State. It’s not ideal, but George (Rupert [ Read More ]...

Asylum Blackout is exactly the movie it promises to be-- the story of what happens when the power goes out at a high-security asylum and the inmates stage a breakout. What makes this different from most other thrillers you'll see, though, is the sane people left to survive in the asylum are three slackers and bandmates who had been working in the asylum kitchen for easy money. You can meet those four guys in the exclusive clip we're premiering below, in which you see both the dismal conditions in the cafeteria and the potential start of the rebellion. Take a look: After premiering at the Toronto Film Festival under the title The Incident, the movie was renamed Asylum Blackout and is now coming to theaters and VOD via IFC Midnight. It's the feature directing debut for Alexander Courtes and stars Rupert Evans, Kenny Doughty and Joseph Kennedy. Below you can...

There's nothing finer than hearing that a horror film affected folks so strongly that they fainted. It never ceases to amaze and amuse us, and that's just the case concerning the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of The Incident (review here).
According to Deadline the Alexandre Courtes-directed flick that screened this morning in the Midnight Madness category is clearly not for the squeamish. Apparently two moviegoers fainted during the flick and an ambulance was called. One person fainted when one of the characters was tied to a stove top and burned alive. No word on the other.
Later in the day IFC Midnight finalized a U.S. distribution rights deal for The Incident.
Rupert Evans, Kenny Doughty, Unax Ugalde, Dave Legeno, Anna Skellern, Richard Brake, Eric Godon, Joseph Kennedy, and Marcus Garvey star. Look for more on this one soon!

Tom Wilkinson was in his mid-40s when he decided being a respected theatre actor wasn't enough. He tells Stephen Moss about cracking Hollywood, playing Joe Kennedy – and the two women who inspired him
Tom Wilkinson is a most unlikely Hollywood star. For a start, this interview is taking place not at the glitzy Dorchester hotel – time-honoured home of the film junket – but at his unassuming house in north London. Though he hates giving interviews and is being forced to miss his beloved Friends on TV, he is too polite to ask me to leave, and I hang around in his living room for two hours asking ever more incoherent questions. As if this wasn't enough, he then drives me a couple of miles to the station. Now ask yourself: would Tom Cruise do that?
But that's the point. The tall, angular, intense, somewhat intimidating Wilkinson doesn't want to be like Tom Cruise,...
