Exclusive: Canadian production company Red Hill Entertainment is heading into production on feature drama A Hundred Lies, starring Rob Raco (Riverdale), Jessica Amlee (Heartland) and Brandon McKnight (The Flash).
The film will chart the journey of Ricky (Raco), a 27-year-old musician in Toronto who had his taste of glory, and lost it just as quickly, as he navigates the bumpy terrain of the music industry for a chance at redemption.
Also starring are Stephen Tracey (The Expanse) and Dana Abraham (Neon Lights).
The film will be directed by Toronto native Rouzbeh Heydari, who recently directed both Abraham and Sons of Anarchy star Kim Coates in indie feature Neon Lights.
Qamar Qureshi, Jay Wilgar and Gavin Brown share executive producer credits, while the film is produced by Dana Abraham who also penned the screenplay, alongside producers Jazz Brar, Trevor Smith and Rob Raco. Release is slated for spring 2022.

Shudder announced today that it has teamed up with award-winning production company Shaftesbury to make a new eight-episode installment of the hugely popular horror series.
Slasher: Flesh & Blood will stream exclusively on horror platform Shudder in the US, Australia, and New Zealand in 2021.
Shudder will also be the streaming home for Flesh & Blood in Canada, the UK and Ireland following its linear premieres in those countries.
The series will be broadcast exclusively on Hollywood Suite in Canada.
Production is already underway in Ontario, Canada.

Having adapted Amy Jones’ novel of the same name, Boland will also star in the film as twins alongside Martha Burns (Alias Grace) and Alisha Newton (Heartland). The film will follow the dysfunctional Parker family which unravels after a woman goes over a waterfall and a video goes viral.

I am amazed how often I can do absolutely nothing of note all day and still feel tired in the afternoon. Like, it doesn't matter when I wake up, when I went to bed, what I did or what I've eaten, around 3 p.m. or so I just hit a wall where my body's like "Nap Time!!!" Caffeine doesn't help, sometimes it just makes it worse. Anyway, Misery Monday is half back tonight, so I'm sure there's plenty of you out there with your popcorn ready to watch some painful footage of addicts/people with Ocd work through their issues so you can feel better about your own lives. I think that's the point, is that the point? Those shows just make me horribly uncomfortable. At least with "Hoarders" I usually get inspired to do some cleaning or just throw shit out more often in general. Anyway, here's Monday night's TV:
