After 36 years as a stand-alone agency, the Artists Agency is merging with the expanding Marc Bass Agency, the agencies said Monday.
Artists Agency co-founders Michael Livingston and Jimmy Cota will join MBA, bringing with them a roster of longtime clients including Marion Ross, Ruby Dee, Barbara Bain, Wayne Rogers, Leslie Easterbrook, John Ashton, Charlie Robinson, John Saxon, Chad Everett and Joe Don Baker.
They join the MBA's existing roster of film, television, theater clients such as Mark Hamill, Bronson Pinchot, Candy Clark, Cedric Yarborough, Carlos Alazraqui, Jeanie Berlin, Alice Ripley, Denise Crosby and Jordan Baker.
"The addition of the Artists Agency and, particularly, Michael Livingston and Jimmy Cota with their extensive experience and solid reputation in all areas of show business adds to the continuing expansion of MBA since we opened our doors in January 2004," Marc Bass said.
