Country singer Sara Evans has been embroiled in a bitter custody battle with her ex-husband, Craig Schelske, and now she's secured a restraining order that blocks him from publicly discussing details of their marriage, their custody agreement, and their divorce.
Schleske lost custody of their three children, blaming it on Evans painting him as a porn-addicted adulterer in the courts. Evans, on the other hand, accuses Schleske of maintaining an environment in which underage drinking is encouraged. Their children are twelve, eight, and seven years old. They live with Evans, her husband Jay Barker, and his four children.

Country music singer Sara Evans has been granted a temporary injunction against her ex-husband, banning him from discussing the details of their 2007 divorce. The star won a temporary restraining order against Craig Schelske, the father of her three children, in a Williamson County, Tennessee court in February and the case returned to the court on Monday, March 15, when a judge awarded Evans a temporary injunction.
The singer sought to silence her ex after he opened up about their bitter split while testifying about a proposed new law before the Tennessee Legislature and going on to talk about their divorce on state radio.
Schelske's comments broke the terms of the confidentiality agreement reached as part of their settlement and Judge James G. Martin III has now ordered the defendant to pay damages, the amount of which will be determined by an arbitrator.

Country music lyrics have nothing on Sara Evans' life story. Nearly four years on, the country cutie and Dancing With the Stars dropout is still battling it out with her now ex-hubby Craig Schelske, today adding a temporary injunction to the temporary restraining order she obtained against him last month. Acrimony, thy name is...these two. The ruling, handed down in a Tennessee courtroom this morning, prevents the otherwise media-friendly Schelske from commenting publicly on either his ex-wife or the reasons behind their enduringly messy 2007 divorce. It was just last month that Schelske's loose lips finally caught up with him in court. After he went on record blabbing about...

Country music singer Sara Evans has won a temporary restraining order against her ex-husband Craig Schelske. The star filed for the protective ban in early February and the order was approved by a judge in a Williamson County, Tennessee court on Wednesday, February 24.
Under the conditions of the order, Schelske, who shares three children with the singer, is not permitted to make derogatory statements about Evans to the media or make allegations about what led to their divorce. The restraining order is the latest development in the couple's bitter split. During their divorce battle, which was finalized in 2007, both parties accused one another of having affairs.
A court hearing has been set for March 15 to determine whether the protection order will become permanent.

Cast your minds back to 2006, when Paula Abdul was still on American Idol, Tiger Woods was still an appropriate role model, Karina Smirnoff was still dancing with stars and one of the biggest scandals of the year was country music star (and withdrawn Dwts contestant) Sara Evans' sordid divorce. Ah, those were the days. Well, thanks to Evans' recent decision to file for a temporary restraining order against her allegedly porn-loving ex, Craig Schelske, those days are here again. Evans was granted the Tro in Tennessee court on Wednesday, and the document prevents Schelske from engaging in the usual rundown of no-nos, including making any derogatory statements about the singer to the media or...
