Kriv Stenders is to collaborate with Magnetic Theory, a new production company based in Sydney.
Red Dog‘s director, Stenders lends his weight to the company founded by Ian Johnson, formerly of Omnilab Media and Brad Smith of Spinifex that aims to be ‘a conduit between clients and creative’.
In a press release, Magnet Theory, “will focus on delivering innovative creative outcomes for clients from concept to screen across television commercials, digital engagement, branded, online and event content.”
Joining Stenders on Magnetic Theory’s books are motion designers and illustrators Supervixen and motion designer and creative director Anna Meister.
In a statement, Johnson said: “We will only represent Artist’s whose work inspires us and who we trust. Brilliant directors, designers and conceptual thinkers many who have already established themselves in their respective creative fields, but with our expertise, hopefully we can introduce them to a broader potential client base.

It was Results Night Wednesday on “America’s Got Talent,” and host Nick Cannon didn’t want to waste any time bringing out the first three acts to inform them of whether or not they would be moving on to the next round. But before he actually got around to calling their names, the show was interrupted by an appearance by The Smurfs, who pleaded with judges Howie Mandel, Sharon Osbourne and even Piers Morgan to give them a...

The America’s Got Talent judges cast their vote once more on last night’s results show and this week, they have chosen another four acts to progress to the upcoming semi final stages.
Landau Eugene Murphy Jr, Lys Agnes, Poplyfe and Professor Splash all found themselves moving onwards and upwards and we were actually quite shocked that Seth Grabel didn’t make the cut.
However, the most heart wrenching moment of the night was when the cutest child we have ever seen, thought he and his childish rap group Sh’Boss Boys had made it through to the next round. The youngster let out a squeal of delight, on to have to endure groans of sympahty, as host Nick Cannon was forced to explain his true fate. The boy was going home.
The biggest decision of the night came when the panel had to choose between the two death defying acts of the week.

Do you think we'll have any surprises tonight on "America's Got Talent"? I'm really only wondering who gets the last spot, Summerwind Skippers or Seth Grabel. I don't think there's much chance the first three advancing acts are anything but Lys, Landau and Poplyfe.
Added: Turns out there were some surprises. Hmph.
The first group brought down is Purrfect Angelz, Ian Johnson and Summerwind Skippers. Ooh, that's a bit of a surprise. Did the Skippers make the Top 3 vote-getters? Cool, good for them. Except Twist! Nobody is through. I thought for sure Sws would be in the Top 5 at least (the fourth and fifth get decided on by the judges and I thought at least Sws was one of the best five acts last night).
And now Stevie Nicks! I'm seriously all a-flutter, I love her. Her new song is "For What It's Worth" and I loved it. I need to get her new album,...

The votes are in! Which four acts will be moving forward to be beaten out by the four acts that move forward next week? Let's get real for a second: next week is stacked. Oh my god, just when things were getting real, there was a whole segment dedicated to promoting that Smurf movie. Kill me now.
Let's pretend that brand integration never happened. Ian Johnson, Summerwind Skippers, and Purrfect Angelz are first to the stage. It could or couldn't be any of them. Nick announces that the act moving on is ... No One! They're all out. What a bummer. Piers thought it might have been Summerwind Skippers but he was wrong.

After last week’s “America’s Got Talent” performances failed to consistently impress the judges, expectations were high for the next group of 12 performers hoping to win that $1 million prize. As the show opened, host Nick Cannon said excitedly, “We are live in Hollywood and we’re ready to rock!” Whether or not the performer would remained to be seen.

For the third quarterfinal group on "America's Got Talent," we have Poplyfe and Lys Agnes, who I am very much looking forward to, and Professor Splash and that Mauricio guy, who I am not so much looking forward to.
1. Summerwind Skippers
This is a neat act, but it doesn't scream Vegas show to me. Their first live show is much better than what they've done before, but it's still just a jump-rope act. It's a very good jump-rope act, but ... still. I do think these guys beat the hell out of every dance group on the show except maybe Miami All-Stars. They still might deserve to advance, though, based on how the other acts do. The judges are complimentary.
2. Sh'Boss Boys
Ok, it's not even fair to critique these lil' buggers because they're so damn cute I want to kidnap them. I shall put them in the house where I...

NBC / Universal Cindy Chang on “America’s Got Talent”
Unlike the show’s previous stops in Atlanta and New York, America’s Got Talent inexplicably declined to reveal where they set up shop for last night’s auditions. Fan-made signs indicated they at least passed through Charlotte, Nc and Houston, TX, but perhaps those cities didn’t quite have enough talent to earn their own designated episode. And indeed, proceedings started out on a rough note (literally) before settling into...

We here at Quick Stop Entertainment are true lovers of music, in all its forms. We’re also quite keen on the spirit of competition, and of spurring creativity through said competition.
To that end, we launched a unique form of creative combat here at the Stop.
In this age of manufactured and painfully earnest talent contests, we’ve decided to instead shine a light on the quirky, quixotic underworld of musicians that don’t get nearly the attention they deserve.
Ah, but I did mention that there was a competition involved…
Like a songwriting version of Iron Chef, the competitors will be presented with a very specific songwriting challenge. They’ll be given one week to complete their songs - however they see fit, within the parameters set forth - after which time the entries will be uploaded to Quick Stop to be voted on by you, the audience.
