Endemol Beyond USA, the digital division of the storied television production titan behind Big Brother, The Real Housewives of Atlanta and more, has named online video veteran Bonnie Pan as its new president.
Pan succeeds Will Keenan, who was tapped to head the venture when it was founded but subsequently departed after two years to join live streaming startup Streamup as president and chief content officer. Until Pan’s appointment, Endemol Beyond’s Adrian Sexton had served as interim president, but now he will resume his role as COO.
Pan, like Keenan, is a veteran of Maker Studios, where she previously served as executive vice president of programming. There’s been a big shakeup at the top of a prominent multi-channel network. Will Keenan, who has served as the President of Endemol Beyond since 2013, has announced his departure, with COO Adrian Sexton taking over the network’s top executive position.
Keenan revealed his decision in a statement. “These last two years as president of Endemol Beyond USA have been monumental for me,” he said. “I’m extremely proud to have spearheaded the creation of, and laid the foundation for, one of the fastest-growing and most award-winning digital networks in North America.”
Sexton, who has been named interim president, joined Endemol Beyond in March 2015. Before that, he worked at Participant Media, where he was Evp of Digital. His work with Endemol includes a recent deal that brings hundreds of the network’s videos to Vessel.
Keenan, who previously worked at Maker Studios, joined forces with Endemol Beyond in 2013, during the venture’s early stages.

At YouTube Space La, Endemol has got to work on a new digital series. The media company, which runs the multi-channel network Endemol Beyond, has kicked off production on a video game competition series called Legends of Gaming.
Legends of Gaming is based on a British program Endemol produced last year. The American version, which Endemol Beyond discussed during its 2015 Newfronts presentation, is hosted by YouTube star Toby Turner (aka Tobuscus) and features well-known online gamers duking it out in a series of e-sports challenges.
The cast is a strong one. As Variety reports, participating YouTube gamers include Syndicate, Jovenshire, and Lui Calibre. E-sports pros will also join the fun as coaches. “E-Sports is starting to pop — there’s a huge amount of movement in this space,” Endemol Beyond USA COO Adrian Sexton told Variety. “When we looked at the metrics…This is exactly younger audiences want.”
