Caroline Flack has been accused of underplaying her dancing experience. The former 'Xtra Factor' host- who is set to compete in this year's series of the hit BBC One show 'Strictly Come Dancing' - also appeared on the BBC Three series 'Dancing On Wheels' in which she partnered a contestant in a wheel chair. However, Caroline insists the show - which was choreographed by 'Strictly' stars Kristina Rihanoff and Brian Fortuna, and judged by James and Ola Jordan - was more of a ''documentary-style programme'' rather than a means of improving her dance skills. She told The Sun newspaper: ''I did...

Strictly Come Dancing is set to start next Friday (September 27), with stars such as Abbey Clancy, Julien Macdonald and Vanessa Feltz competing for the ballroom dancing crown.

Strictly Come Dancing professional Jared Murillo has insisted that there will be no romance with his partner Tina O’Brien this year, because he is a Mormon and sworn off sex before marriage.
The American dance champion is a newcomer to the BBC show and says that he won’t be following in Brian Fortuna’s footsteps and romancing his partner.

Craig Revel Horwood has assured fans that they will see some sparks on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing series.
After Kristina Rihanoff hooked up with Joe Calzaghe and Brian Fortuna started dating Ali Bastian on the 2009 run, Horwood said that all the suggestive moves and bumping bodies inevitably leads to sexual tension between partners.
He told new! magazine:
“When you’re working with someone that closely all day, every day, something is bound to kick off if they are two single people. You are dancing with someone for eight hours a day in a close hold. It is personal and it’s difficult not to get involved – particularly if you fancy them!”
I bet, after reading that, Anton DuBeke can’t wait to get his rehearsals with Ann Widdecombe started!

The X Factor got dangerous when pals Lisa Parker and Abbey Johnston took to the stage earlier this year.
The pair showed up to the Birmingham auditions and sang Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey and Shayne Ward’s That’s My Goal. Their renditions were so bad that Simon Cowell branded it “the worst audition in history”.
Before turning on each other, the duo went on to upset fellow judges Louis Walsh and Natalie Imbruglia. Lisa told Louis

They then launched an attack on Australian popstar Natalie shouting:

When the panel refused to put them through to bootcamp, Abbey turned to Lisa and punched her square in the face.

Reality TV star Brian Fortuna is furious after thieves stole more than $15,000 (£10,000) worth of property from his London home at the weekend (21-22Aug10).
The ballroom dancer, who competed in the 2007 series of U.S. TV talent show Dancing With The Stars, had his laptop and other gadgets taken from his apartment.
Burglars are also believed to have made off with costumes Fortuna wore on the U.K. series Strictly Come Dancing.
A source tells Britain's The Sun, "Brian is livid. He can't believe someone would steal his beloved dancing gear.

Matthew Cutler and Lilya Kopylova have quit BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, after a huge shake up of the reality TV show.
The pair had been dropped from the main line up and were told they would not be partnering celebrities this year. Instead they were offered a place on a dance troupe, who would undertake weekly performances and be paid only by the dance. They followed in the footsteps of Brian Fortuna who quit last month and turned the offer down.
Speaking about his departure, Cutler said: “I’ve absolutely loved my time on Strictly, and now is a good time to focus on developing new areas of my career. I’m excited about having more time to commit to new projects, and of course, still having a hand in Strictly without all the training!”
Kopylova added: “I will miss it, but I am looking forward to new opportunities ahead.

It seems that the bosses of Strictly Come Dancing have decided to reduce the number of contestants to 14 this year, and instead of the usual run of 14 weeks, this year’s competition will run for 12 weeks.
Apparently the moves have been made to “hold viewers’ interest” since viewing figures dropped last year.
The Sun reports that although the changes to those parts of the show’s format are now set, none of the show’s hosts or professional dancers have yet received contracts for the upcoming series.
The paper adds, “Last year Brucie pocketed £500,000, the judges got £90,000 and the pro dancers around £30,000 each.”
It goes on to state that Ian Waite, Matthew Cutler, Lilia Kopylova and Darren Bennett have all “been invited to take part” in the show, but have so far refused to sign a contract.

Ali Bastian has been blasted as having ''the passion of a pomegranate''. The actress and dance partner Brian Fortuna - who are rumoured to be in a romantic relationship - were voted off 'Strictly Come Dancing' on Saturday (12.12.09) and former judge Arlene Phillips insists they deserved to go because they couldn't show their bond on the dance floor, despite being awarded a perfect 50 points by the judging panel for their American smooth. Arlene blasted: ''Whatever was speculated about Ali and Brian's chemistry off the show, on the floor their dancing lacked passion. ''It's a dance of passion and Ali didn't grip the ..

In the real shock reality TV result of the night, former Hollyoaks actress Ali Bastian has been voted off Strictly Come Dancing.
Although Ali and her partner Brian Fortuna were second on the judges leaderboard and have been tipped to win the series form week one, there was no dance off tonight and no chance for Len and Co to save the pair.
She said: “It’s devastating but at the same time I feel like we’re going out on a tremendous high,” adding, “It’s been an incredible experience and I’ve loved every moment of it.”
That leaves Ricky Whittle and Chris Hollins battling it out for the winners title next week. We hate to admit it, but we think Chris might just pull this one off!

Strictly Come Dancing bosses have revealed that Ali Bastian will dance on tonight’s semi final despite a recent foot injury.
Sources had earlier claimed that Laila Rouass and Anton Du Beke were preparing to replace Ali and Brian, as her foot injury refused to heal.
However today a BBC spokesman told The Sun: “Laila and Anton are continuing to train in case any of the couples are unable to perform in the live show.
“Ali is fine. She has danced two dances since she injured her foot. It would have to be a massive injury for Laila and Anton to step in.”
