- His mother Celia Imrie was pregnant with him during the filming of Pat and Margaret (1994) - although Imrie's character Claire was not written as pregnant, screenwriter Victoria Wood wrote her pregnancy into the final version of the screenplay.
- Imrie voices the character Zero in Star Trek: Prodigy (2021), he also appears as a young version of the wizard Merlin in the film The Kid Who Would Be King (2019); Sir Patrick Stewart plays the older version of Merlin. Stewart, of course, also appears in the Star Trek universe as Captain/Admiral Jean-Luc Picard.
