Charles Spar (known as "Chad" to his family and friends) was born in Minot, North Dakota, on October 1, 1973. He was raised in Ada, Ohio, graduating from Ada High School in 1992. He attended Ohio State University (Lima branch) and Bowling Green State University, majoring in creative writing with a planned minor in popular literature criticism. He trained under Richard Brander (Kevin Costner's acting coach) at "Actors Creative Training" in Columbus, Ohio, and has taken courses in acting, oral interpretation and theater at BGSU, OSU and Ohio Northern University (Ada, Ohio). He appeared in the first summer production at ONU's The Freed Center in 1992 -- "The Sound of Music", as well as the following year's "The Wizard of Oz". He has also performed in various productions at Encore Theater (Lima, Ohio), including "Greetings", "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying", "The House of Blue Leaves", etc.. Right after graduating from BGSU in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in creative writing, he went to work on the set of the independent film, "Edge of Seventeen", and can be seen in the background (with blue baseball cap) in the frontier restaurant near the beginning of the film. Chad's latest acting work is as "Two Face" in the mash-up film, "Sling Bat". He has worked as a psychometrician doing psychological testing for in the state of Ohio. Chad is a contributing writer for Ohio's own entertainment magazine, Pazz magazine, and works for the publishing firm, CSS Publishing Company, Inc.
