The time has finally come for Marvel Studios‘ newest outing, which has been collecting hype — good and bad. Echo has a lot on its plate. It will be the first title, which is the launch of the company’s Marvel Spotlight banner. Cars. Family. Willing suspension of disbelief. These three words can basically sum up the two-decade sprawling franchise of the “Fast and Furious” saga. While the premise of the movies has transitioned from more grounded illegal street racing to pure nonsensical fun action heists, it’d seem the relevance of the franchise is fighting against time, but the box office numbers have to say otherwise. However, nine movies—which are part of the original series, one spin-off movie, and even an animated series—later, the franchise is going to end its lap with a movie trilogy, starting with the first part, Fast X, which is releasing this week. With numerous actors already associated with this ever-expanding action franchise, it’s easy to lose track of everything regarding the main narrative. We will like to bring viewers up to speed by trying to chronicle the important events in the “Fast and Furious” franchise.

Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which again features eight matches this week. We’ve got regulars Paul Wight and Matt Menard on commentary as usual. So let’s get into the review!
Match #1: Emi Sakura def. Zyra
My Thoughts: Once again Emi Sakura lets her opponent show what she’s got in a quasi-squash match for Aew. Sakura could totally dominate her opponents week after week but the fact she doesn’t says a lot about the wrestler she is. I’m digging this singles run Sakura is on right now too!
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Jake Hager def. Levi Shapiro
My Thoughts: We rarely get Jake Hager in singles matches on TV/YouTube these days, so it was great to see him work even if this was a squash match!

We had another Aew pay-per-view this past weekend, so you know what that means… A bonus Saturday episode of Aew: Dark which thankfully only features a handful of matches rather than the growing number of the regular Dark features! Anyway, on with the review…
Match #1: The Acclaimed def. The Workhorsemen
My Thoughts: A great start to this special extra episode of Dark, with one of my favourite tag teams taking on one of Aew’s most popular tag teams in a match that ended up being a exciting back and forth that thankfully didn’t have The Workhorsemen just lying down and eating the pin.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5 Match #2: Daniel Garcia def. Aaron Solo

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which, like Elevation, features nine matches… On with this week’s review!
Match #1: Danhausen def. Jon Cruz
My Thoughts: Danhausen manages to get a win after losing to Qt Marshall on Elevation. Though it was againzt jobber Jon Cruz, who was last seen on Dark getting quickly squashed by The Butcher (way back in 2021). Still it’s always great to see Danhausen in action. Always.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: The Embassy def. Fuego Del Sol and Waves & Curls
My Thoughts: Well this was surprise, I expected a quick squash of Feugo and his teammates but no, instead we got a decent display of action from everyone involved. In fact this was – in another total surprise – one of the best matches we’ve seen from The Embassy so far.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #3: Nyla Rose def. Leva Bates

Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark and like I said in my Elevation review, I missed last week’s two Aew YouTube shows due to the sheer amount of wrestling that was on TV/PPV! So I’m back at it this week, with a show taped in front of a live Toronto crowd… On with the review!
Match #1: Lance Archer def. Iseah Brown
My Thoughts: Lance Archer just feels like a broken record these days. Drag your opponent to the ring. Check. Throw him around. Check. Get the pin. Check. But hey, at least he’s wrestling matches.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Zack Clayton def. Shane Saber
My Thoughts: I was firmly in the same camp at the live Canadian audience in wanting local wrestler Shane Saber to get the win over the former reality star Zack Clayton. Alas it was not to be as...

The Lucha Bros used their tandem offense on the Best Friends. Death Triangle sent Orange and the Best Friends to the outside. Death Triangle flew over the top rope, throwing caution to the wind, crashlanding on their opponents. Back in the ring,...

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, the opening salvo in the Aew wrestling week. Once again we’ve got Paul Wight finally back on commentary this week where he is joined by Roh’s Ian Riccaboni. So let’s see what the show has to offer!
Match #1: Skye Blue def. Trish Adora
My Thoughts: Fan-favourite Skye Blue opens Elevation in a quasi-squash match against Trish Adora. Unfortunately both women didn’t quite gel and this one felt a lot more like the kind of “developmental” match Dark and Elevation are supposed to showcase. Which, if training wrestlers and giving them “TV time”, is what the show is about, is a good thing.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Brian Cage def. Tracy Williams
My Thoughts: Nice to see Brian Cage [finally] in another match on Aew programming. Interesting that, given he’s facing Wardlow for the title this week,...
