Tyra Banks doesn't believe in that saying, "Those who can't do, teach." Why not both?
The 36-year-old has ushered 14 seasons of runway wannabes on "America's Next Top Model" and officially retired from modeling herself in 2005, but now she's back and "smizing" for the cameras.
Banks has signed on with Img Modeling and will probably start cropping up in more editoral spreads for various mags, confirms the agency. And these will be legit jobs, not just ones she's created so she can have photos up on the walls of the "Top Model" house or hire noted fashion photographer Nigel Barker to take.
After 14 cycles, this is a good sign to legitimize "Top Model," which has been becoming more and more ridiculous with each passing season.
Also adding fashion cred is "Top Model" severing its relationship with Seventeen magazine and teaming up with Italian Vogue as a sponsor, reports the La Times.

Whew—Bloody Eyeball lives! Based on the reality-show ratio of camera time to elimination, Nicole's departure seemed certain in last night's America's Next Top Model. The Gollum look-alike let her crazy flag fly (even more than usual), terrifying even choreographer Benny Ninja. In the end, though, Nicole's "stoner" voice, disappointing photo shoot and horror-show dance routine didn't even land her in the bottom two. Going home instead was, ironically, a professional dance instructor—and the girl Tyra Banks discovered in her studio audience, whom we just chatted up today for scoop... Ashley. "I had so much going on in my head that maybe a blood vessel burst...

(S13E05) Benny Ninja invaded America's Next Top Model this week trying to teach the girls how to emote with their bodies. As long as he doesn't try creating stupid words like "Smize" or "H2T," he's good in my book. All the girls felt really bland this episode, probably because Bianca is gone and she's not ruffling any feathers.
Mr. Ninja needed some help and called on Lil Mama and the JabbaWokeeZ. Lil Mama? That's like trying to get Kim Kardashian to judge models. Wait, she is? I knew Tyra Banks was insane, but all the guests this year take the cake.

Tonight on America's Next Top Model: The remaining 9 models are shipped aaaall the way from Los Angeles to Las Vegas for a Cirque du Soleil inspired photo shoot! (Get it? Because they are short little models. They basically make up their own freak show!)
But before we get to that, the girls must undergo their most difficult "modeling" challenge yet, given that it has very little to do with modeling: learn to dance with Benny Ninja and Lil Mama! This modeling teach is about expressing themselves through movement.
