Match #1: Fatal 5-Way Intercontinental Title chance Match – Winner(s): Drew McIntyre & Sheamus The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Karrion Kross, Xavier Woods and LA Knight collided in this Fatal 5-Way Match for a chance at Gunther’s Intercontinental Title. The match broke down almost as soon as it began, with all five competitors taking the action to the outside. With five competitors, it was no surprise that alliances were quick to occur with Knight and Kross combining to make a unique combo. Much like Survivor, the alliance was over fairly quickly as Knight struck Kross while his back was turned. Woods, who had some umbrage with being called the underdog had a great showing with dynamite offense...

Match #1: Imperium def. Braun Strowman, Ricochet and Madcap Moss The following of courtesy of wwe.com:
There was plenty of recent history brought into the ring, as Braun Strowman, Ricochet & Madcap Moss set out for some payback against Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci. After a chaotic back-and-forth, the Intercontinental Champion and The Monster Among Men stood toe-to-toe in the ring trading chops and punches. Gunther closed the door with a vicious Powerbomb to Moss with Drew McIntyre watching at ringside. The Viking Raiders took exception to The Scottish Warrior’s presence and ignited a wild brawl after the match.

Match #1: Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler def. Natalya & Shotzi The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
One night before Natalya will battle inside the career-altering Elimination Chamber for an opportunity to face the Raw Women’s Champion at WrestleMania, The B.O.A.T. and Shotzi failed to get retribution on Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler in an explosive opening tag team matchup. Despite Montreal being in the home country of The Queen of Harts and an incredible effort by both her and her partner, The Baddest Woman on the Planet survived Natalya’s Sharpshooter. Then, after Baszler pulled the third-generation Superstar out of ring, it paved the way for Rousey to make Shotzi tap out to the Armbar.

Match #1: Drew McIntyre & Sheamus def. Hit Row The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
After Hit Row complained to WWE Official Adam Pearce regarding how they exited the SmackDown Tag Team Title Contenders’ Tournament, Pearce sanctioned a match between Hit Row and Drew McIntyre & Sheamus. Ashante Adonis jaw-jacked to start but got immediately leveled with the Glasgow Kiss. The beats wouldn’t stop there though, as Sheamus hit more than 20 Beats of the Bodhran on Top Dolla, followed by a White Noise on Adonis. A Claymore from McIntyre to Top Dolla, plus a Brogue Kick from Sheamus to Adonis, sealed the one sided victory for the Warriors’ two.

Match #1: Men’s Royal Rumble – Winner: Cody Rhodes The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Before the match started, the surprises had already begun as Pat McAfee made his return to commentary, delightfully shocking Michael Cole. Fight Night kicked off the Men’s Rumble as Intercontinental Champion Gunther and his fierce rival Sheamus entered at No. 1 and 2, respectively. Not long after Sheamus scored the first elimination by Brogue Kicking The Miz (No. 3) into oblivion, he formed a match-long alliance with his good friend Drew McIntyre after The Scottish Warrior entered at No. 9. Wanting to shut down Rey Mysterio for good, Karrion Kross seeked to eradicate The Master of the 619 from the WWE Universe. Kross used his size advantage from the off-set, trying to wrench Mysterio’s mask from his face. Mysterio would utilize the other side of the size discrepancy, using his quickness to hit a huge splash for a two count. In the end Mysterio’s agility proved key, putting away Kross with a crucifix pin.

Match #1: Ricochet def. Mustafa Ali The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The first round of the SmackDown World Cup on Fox Tournament continued as two of the biggest high-flyers in Mustafa Ali and Ricochet battled on the ground and in the air. Ali, already nursing injuries stemming from the beatdown he suffered at the hands of Bobby Lashley on Monday Night Raw, clearly was not at 100 percent but still took the fight to Ricochet. Top-rope offense, including a backstabber and a superplex, put Ricochet in complete control, and it continued with a Michinoku driver on the outside of the ring. A valiant Ali nearly caught Ricochet with a 450 splash, but Ricochet rolled out of the way and finished off Ali with a shooting star press.

Welcome to this review of WWE Crown Jewel 2022, right here on Nerdly… The first we’ve reviewed since 2019 – one because of the pandemic and the second because I’m still not sure about the WWE accepting money from such a problematic country. Anyway, let’s see what happened during this year’s show.
Match #1: Brock Lesnar def. Bobby Lashley The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
A rivalry stretching nearly 20 years, Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley went one-on-one for only the second time in their storied careers. The last time the two behemoths faced off in a singles bout, The All Mighty claimed Lesnar’s WWE Championship. Lashley took it to Lesnar early, sending The Beast Incarnate into the ring steps before the bell, leaving Lesnar with a tweaked knee. Lashley doubled down on his hot start, Spearing Lesnar into the barricade and following with another Spear in the ring for a close two-count.

Match #1: Ridge Holland & Butch def. Sami Zayn & Solo Sikoa The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Following a brutal Bloodline attack that left Sheamus out of action last week, The Brawling Brutes were out for payback against Sami Zayn & Solo Sikoa. When Butch climbed to the top rope, Jey failed to understand that Zayn was playing possum to his ascending opponent. Thinking he was helping, Jey opted to pull The Honorary Uce out of the ring. A frustrated Zayn wasted time arguing with the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion, and when Ridge Holland took out Jey and Solo Sikoa, Sami finally reengaged Butch and immediately fell victim to the small package for the loss.

Match #1: Sami Zayn def. Kofi Kingston The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Much like previous weeks Jey Uso was in Sami Zayn’s corner but after a phone call from Roman Reigns, “Main Event” Jey Uso seemed more willing to offer aid to his honorary Bloodline member. Jey Uso took umbrage with Xavier Woods’ presence by Superkicking him, allowing Zayn to hit the Blue Thunder Bomb in the fracas for a close two count. Kingston had Zayn locked up in a pinning attempt but Jey proved key, pushing Kingston so that Zayn was pinning Kingston instead. This let Zayn pick up the much-needed victory.

After Solo Sikoa’s backstage attack last week, The One and Only & Madcap Moss came up short in a tag team match against The Street Champion & Sami Zayn. The dangerous Sikoa took advantage of a distraction by The Honorary Uce to fire a chair at an advancing Ricochet and hurl him into the timekeeper area. He then tagged himself into the matchup and overcame Moss with with an explosive Spinning Solo. When Moss engaged Zayn after the bell, the newest member of The Bloodline snapped and unleashed a vicious post-match assault on Madcap.

Evans attempted to use a Kendo stick, but Liv avoided the attack and hit the Oblivion for the victory. House of the Dragon viewers have spotted an error in the third episode of the hit Game of Thrones spin-off.
The blunder was spotted by eagle-eyed fans shortly after the episode’s Sunday night (4 September) debut, who shared their finding on social media.
Spoilers follow for House of the Dragon episode three – you have been warned!
Before the episode began, viewers were already aware that King Viserys (Paddy Considine) had suffered a severe flesh-eating infection.
At the start of episode three (set two years after the previous episode), the infection had worsened to the point where the king had lost two fingers.
In one scene from episode three, Considine’s character can be briefly seen wearing a green glove over the two fingers which are supposed to be missing.
The glove would have been used by the production team to simplify the process of removing two of his fingers with CGI.

Welcome to this review of this past Friday’s episode of Friday Night Smackdown, right here on Nerdly. We’ve got more of Triple H’s reimagining of WWE this week And a (hopeful) build to Clash as the Castle, right here in the UK. So let’s see what went down…
Match #1: Ricochet def. Happy Corbin The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Following weeks of Happy Corbin being undermined by the high-flying Ricochet, the two SmackDown Superstars stepped into the ring to settle their differences. Corbin initially grounded Ricochet, lifting him up into a World’s Strongest Slam onto the announce table. Corbin kept up the assault, dropping Ricochet on the top rope in an innovative maneuver. Corbin’s focus was the focus, for lack of a better term, of the night as Ricochet took the advantage back after Corbin taunted the exciting Superstar once too often.

WWE star Scarlett Bordeaux is showing fans her latest look from SmackDown. Pic credit: @realscarlettbordeaux/Instagram
Wrestling superstar Scarlett Bordeaux showed off a dazzling look she recently wore, possibly after she appeared for WWE SmackDown and was featured in a segment with husband, Karrion Kross.
That segment was done with a black and white look making it hard to fully see the outfits they were wearing. However, Scarlett Bordeaux’s “glam” look appeared much different from that other outfit.
The 31-year-old shared an Instagram post on Saturday morning which gave fans a closer look at the top half of some stunning attire. Her gown featured an all-black and intricate lacy design with thin shoulder straps around her neck.
Bordeaux had her hair styled up rather than letting it flow down as she has for previous events. She credited Jet Emini for styling her hair and Valentina Costa for her makeup.

Match #1: Women’s Tag Team Title Tournament – Alexa Bliss & Asuka def. Nikki A.S.H. & Doudrop The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
With their WWE Clash at the Castle teammate Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair in their corner, Alexa Bliss & Asuka overcame the dangerous combination of Nikki A.S.H. & Doudrop in the first round of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Tournament. After The Goddess of WWE took out Nikki outside the ring, The Empress of Tomorrow made Doudrop tap out to a devastating submission maneuver. Moments later, the victorious tag team and The Est of WWE found themselves nearly coming to blows with an intruding Bayley, Dakota Kai & Io Sky.

“WWE Friday Night Smackdown” wrestled its way to the top of the ratings charts once again last week. The Fox broadcast featured the return of Karrion Kross, who was inserted into the feud between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre, making for an exciting night that raked in a 0.49 demo rating. This comes on the heels of last Monday’s “Raw” scoring its biggest audience in two years, with 2.3 million people tuning in. However, “Friday Night Smackdown’s” 2.1 million viewers couldn’t beat ABC’s “20/20” rerun, which managed 3 million total viewers — the most of the night. The episode also had a 0.31 in the demo. Here’s how the rest of primetime went down across the major broadcast networks: Also Read: NFL Hall of Fame Game Is Thursday’s Primetime Ratings Champion Fox, which aired “Friday Night Smackdown” across primetime, was first in ratings with an average 0.49 rating in the key demo,...
